Abstract

The phenomenon of high interaction among social media users significantly influences the interest in visiting certain destinations. This study aims to measure the influence of Electronic Word of Mouth (E-WOM) on Instagram social media on the interest in visiting followers of the @rummahgoa account. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method, involving respondents who are followers of the @rummahgoa Instagram account. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed online with 100 respondents and analyzed using descriptive statistical tests, simple linear regression, and hypothesis testing. The results of the simple linear regression test show that the E-WOM variable contributes 33% to the variation in visiting interest (Y), while the rest is influenced by other factors such as location, price, and direct experience of visitors. A positive regression coefficient indicates that an increase in E-WOM by one unit will increase visiting interest by 0.321. The results of the t-test show a significant relationship between the two variables with a calculated t value of 6.949 > t table = 1.984 and a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. In conclusion, E-WOM on Instagram social media is an effective marketing strategy in increasing visitor interest, especially in the context of culinary destination promotion. This study provides practical insights for business actors to utilize social media as a digital marketing tool, especially by maximizing captivating and interactive content.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi penggabungan Gojek dan Tokopedia melalui komunikasi perusahaan dalam era pandemik Covid-19 pada framing berita media online. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori strategi komunikasi perusahaan dengan memberikan penjelasan-penjelasan konsep terkait merger, fungsi manajemen dan framing berita online dalam menghadapi persaingan digitalisasi pemasaran global. Integrasi komunikasi dalam penggunaan teknologi dan pemasaran sebagai bentuk inovasi dan kreativitas manajemen komunikasi, untuk membentuk citra perusahaan. Metode penelitian dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan paradigma konstruktivis, menggunakan analisis framing berita dengan deskriptif interpretatif. Hasil penelitian merger merupakan strategi komunikasi perusahaan dalam membangun citra positip perusahaan melalui kolaborasi fungsi manajemen dan produk dengan layanan digital online dalam menghadapi kompetisi pemasaran global. Salah satu faktornya adalah situasi pandemik Covid-19 yang belum dapat teratasi dan menghadapi peraingan digital marketing global. Rekomendasi, merger dapat menjadi model usaha mikro kecil menengah (UMKM) ke dalam Badan usaha Milik Desa (BUMDes) dengan mengadopsi model merger GoTo dalam meningkatkan kemampuan manajemen dan pemasaran serta membuka peluang kerja dan kompetisi kualitas produk serta peluang industri pedesaan memperluas pasar. Kata Kunci; Strategi, Komunikasi Perusahaan, Merger, Framing

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Indonesian National Police's PRESISI Mobile Application on the Quality of Public Services. Data collection was done using primary data obtained from distributing questionnaires through Google Forms. The population in this study is probabilistic and cannot be determined precisely, but the sample calculation used the Lemeshow formula, resulting in 96 people rounded up to 100 respondents. This research is quantitative, and the data obtained were analyzed using simple linear regression analysis processed using SPSS version 24. Based on the analysis results, the variable of the Indonesian National Police's PRESISI Mobile Application has a significant partial effect on the Quality of Public Services. This study was able to demonstrate that the PRESISI Mobile Application of the Indonesian National Police has a 44.9% effect on the Quality of Public Services, while the remaining 55.1% is affected by other unobserved factors not included in this study. These results suggest that the PRESISI Mobile Application of the Indonesian National Police is an important factor in technological development for improving the quality of mobile-based public services that are easily accessible to the public for receiving services or information related to the police

Abstract

Dunia pendidikan mengalami perubahan mengikuti era digital 4.0, termasuk dalam proses kegiatan belajar mengajar yang menerapkan metode berbasis digital, yaitu penggunaan teknologi informasi komunikasi di dalamnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan menggambarkan resiliensi guru binaan Yayasan Rumah Komunitas Kreatif (YRKK) dalam menggunakan aplikasi sekolah Enuma pada kegiatan belajar literasinya. Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif ini menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi pendidikan berbasis literasi digital membawa suasana belajar menyenangkan di kelas jika elemen dalam komunikasi pendidikan dapat berperan optimal. Komunikasi yang baik antara guru dan siswa dapat membantu perubahan pengetahuan yang diharapkan dan meminimalisir gangguan yang ada. Guru sebagai sentral dalam pendidikan anak usia dini perlu memiliki resiliensi dalam bentuk kemampuan beradaptasi dan keteguhan dalam situasi sulit atau dalam menghadapi tantangan dan gangguan, memiliki daya lenting untuk bangkit dari keterpurukan dan gaya hidup positif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas mengenai penggunaan media social Instagram sebagai sumber informasi Wisata DKI Jakarta @Jakarta.Tourism. penelitian ini merupakan sebuah penelitian kualitatif dengan Teknik analisis konseptual pada penelitian-penelitian terdahulu dengan menggunakan teori Computer Mediated Communication (CMC). Hasil dari penelitian ini bahwa media social Instagram sangat berperan sebagai salah satu platform digital dalam memperoleh informasi wisata yang terdapat di DKI Jakarta. Media Sosial Instagram dianggap sebagai sarana yang efektif  memperoleh informasi melalui postingan, reels, share dan like postingan. Dengan adanya akun @Jakarta.tourism dapat memberikan rekomendasi wisata yang ada di DKI Jakarta.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to find out the Analysis of Strategic Communication Discourse for the Eradication of the Free Papua Organization (OPM) by TNI-POLRI Officials in Online Media News Framing. The theory used is Social Construction with a constructivist approach. Descriptive qualitative research method with analytical analysis referring to online media news texts. The research results show that strategic communication, TNI-POLRI received support from the Chairman of the MPR to carry out operations to eradicate OPM. Murder data in ( CNN Indonesia : 27: 12: 2023) states that the National Police recorded a total of 199 KKB attacks and 146 victims during 2023, while Jonh Roy Purba in detiknews (28/12/ 2022) stated that the Papua Regional Police recorded 90 cases of group crimes Armed criminals (KKB) will be handled throughout 2022. According to Johnson and Scholes (2005), strategy determines the direction and scope of an organization in the long term, and they say that it should determine how resources should be used and configured to meet market and stakeholder needs. Michael Porter, emphasizes the need for strategy to define and communicate an organization's unique position, and says that it must determine the organizational resources, skills, and competencies must be combined to create competitive advantage. Abstract

The role of women in academic and structural positions in tertiary institutions is an important part of achieving gender equality, particularly in the educational sphere. The purpose of this research is to investigate the perceptions of women lecturers’ career success, participation, and representation, and to determine the factors that impede them or serve as barriers for women’s career success, participation, and representation in tertiary institutions. The research used a mixed methods approach, namely quantitative surveys that were analyzed using descriptive statistics, while qualitative data and descriptive statistical results were used to carry out model gender analysis of Sara H. Longwee’s "Women's Capability Framework," which emphasizes the importance of development for women. Respondents were selected from Bhayangkara Jakarta Raya University, a private university based in Jakarta, Indonesia. Results show that women perceived that their career success, participation, and representation in tertiary institutions were adequate. On the other hand, the barriers that impede the women’s career success, participation, and representation in tertiary institutions were both internal and external barriers, with internal barriers such as domestic affairs, psychological and emotional, ego and arrogance, and time management, playing a bigger role as impediments. Hence, it is recommended that tertiary institutions in Indonesia develop and enforce firm gender mainstreaming policies to support women in the workplace to overcome these barriers that hinder their career success, participation and representation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) memahami perubahan pola komunikasi masyarakat Bajo Mola setelah mengenal teknologi digital; (2) mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis bentuk interkasi sosial masyatakat Bajo dalam platform digital seperti WhatsApp. Melalui pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa Penggunaan WhatsApp telah mengubah pola komunikasi masyarakat Bajo Mola dari yang sebelumnya berbasis tatap muka menjadi komunikasi digital yang lebih cepat, praktis, dan luas. Melalui WhatsApp, masyarakat dapat menyampaikan informasi, mengatur kegiatan sosial, serta memperkuat hubungan dengan warga desa maupun pihak luar seperti masyarakat darat. Interaksi melalui WhatsApp menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat Bajo kini hidup dalam dua ruang sekaligus yaitu ruang fisik dan ruang digital. Informasi sering dibagikan melalui grup WhatsApp dan kemudian ditindaklanjuti secara langsung dalam bentuk pertemuan atau kegiatan nyata. Ini mencerminkan terjadinya integrasi antara ruang tradisional dan digital dalam kehidupan sosial mereka. Namun, tidak semua warga memiliki akses atau keterampilan digital yang sama, sehingga muncul kesenjangan partisipasi. Kondisi tersebut menyebabkan sebagian anggota komunitas tidak terjangkau oleh arus informasi yang beredar cepat di WhatsApp. Dampaknya terhadap integrasi ruang fisik dan digital tervalidasi yakni integrasi tetap berjalan, tetapi bergantung pada mekanisme kompensasi.

Abstract

The habit of sharing travel experiences on social media is increasingly attached to modern life today, making the theme of User Generated Content (UGC) in tourism never be uninteresting topic to research. Research on UGC in tourism grew 30.31% over the last 10 years. This study uses a bibliometric approach to analyze the database from Scopus with the keyword "User Generated Content" AND Tourism, in the period 2014 – 2023. 504 documents were found from the database and use PRISMA to select, narrowing it down to 321 documents that were used as units of analysis. The application "Biblioshiny R package Bibliometrix" is used for data analysis and visualization. The results showed that the theme with “online”, “findings” and “reviews”, is still a research trend in the future.

Abstract

This study explores how digital communication contributes to literacy development and school readiness through the lens of Deep Learning in early childhood education in Indonesia. Using Media Richness Theory as the theoretical lens, this study employed a qualitative phenomenological methodology to explore how digital communication through the use of a tablet-based learning application foster literacy development and school readiness through Deep Learning in early childhood education. Data were collected through classroom observations, in‑depth interviews and open‑ended questionnaires distributed to teachers, principals, and school operators of early childhood centers in Bekasi that had adopted a of tablet-based digital learning program. Thematic analysis showed that multimodal features and immediate feedback from the application enhanced children’s engagement and motivation, while infrastructural barriers such as limited devices and uneven teacher competence restricted implementation. Evidence of Deep Learning was observed in children’s persistence, creativity, collaboration, and intrinsic motivation, with some transferring digital concepts into everyday contexts. School readiness improved both cognitively, through literacy and numeracy gains, and socio‑emotionally, through patience, turn‑taking, and confidence. The findings highlight the importance of combining digital tools with conventional pedagogy, ensuring equitable access to devices, strengthening teacher professional development, and involving parents to reinforce home–school connections. Digital communication, when intentionally integrated, can serve as a pathway to Deep Learning and school readiness in early childhood education.
