Abstract

Concrete is a material that in general is the public's need for construction infrastructure facilities which is increasing along with the times, therefore choosing concrete as the main raw material for building construction is very important. Several things need to be reviewed when making... There is a lot of waste in the environment around us which can damage the environment around us, such as banner fiber, so we can process this banner fiber as an additional material in making concrete which can be used in the concrete making process. which can increase the compressive strength value of concrete and also save costs in the concrete manufacturing process. This research aims to obtain the effect of banner fiber as an additional material in making concrete accompanied by the addition of 10% silica fume. The mixing method is carried out by replacing cement with 10% silica fume with the addition of 2%, 4%, 65 and 8% banner fiber. The results of this research show that the use of banner fiber affects the compressive and tensile strength of concrete. The maximum values for compressive strength and tensile strength of concrete were obtained using a variation of 2% banner fiber with the addition of 10% silica fume, namely a compressive strength of 25.29 Mpa and a tensile strength of 2.0 Mpa.

Abstract

The factors determining productivity include physical capital, human capital, natural resources, knowledge, and technology. The productivity of labor in the construction work of the UPT Vertical Makassar Hospital is influenced by wage levels, experience, worker skills, worker education, worker age, procurement of materials, and interpersonal relationships among workers. This study was conducted to assess the comparative values of field labor productivity, Indonesian National Standards, Minister of Public Works and Spatial Planning regulations, and the level of productivity in rebar work, formwork, and concrete pouring. The research uses a quantitative method, specifically analyzing the comparison of labor productivity. The study reveals significant differences between field productivity and productivity based on benchmarks. For rebar work, field productivity compared to the Indonesian National Standards is 39.648 times and compared to the Minister of Public Works and Spatial Planning regulations is 79.312 times. For formwork work, the comparison of field productivity with the Indonesian National Standards is 1.172 times, and with the Minister of Public Works and Spatial Planning regulations is also 1.172 times. The same value for formwork work is due to the identical coefficients used in the Indonesian National Standards and Minister of Public Works and Spatial Planning regulations. For column concrete work, the comparison of field productivity with the Indonesian National Standards is 1.409 times, and with the Minister of Public Works and Spatial Planning regulations is 1.007 times.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to determine the differences in costs and completion times for road and bridge construction projects. The research method used in this study is quantitative research. The difference in normal project work implementation time is 510 working days, after accelerating the work using the time cost trade off method using 2 (two) alternatives, namely additional working hours (overtime) which takes 490 working days, while with the alternative additional labor requires 489 working days. The total cost used before acceleration was Rp. 108,899,888,900 after acceleration using additional working hours became Rp. 100,361,229,776 and saved costs of Rp. 8,538,659,123 and after acceleration with additional workers became Rp. 97,309,953,040 and saved costs of Rp. 11,589,935,859.

Abstract

Construction projects are often faced with challenges in terms of managing time, costs and quality. This research discusses "A review of the time for the renovation work of the Wahidin Sudirohusodo Hospital Makassar Inpatient Building" which aims to identify activities that are on the critical path and the time duration used for the project. This research uses a type of quantitative research where the data used includes time schedule (Kuva S) and other project data. The method used in this research is the Critical Path Method (CPM). The CPM method can identify the critical path and provide a logical picture of the sequence of work and time required for each activity on the project. The research results show that by using the CPM method in the inpatient building renovation project at Wahidin Sudirohusodo Makassar Hospital, it is known that the critical path is in activities that have a total float value of 0 (zero). Based on calculations, the project's scheduled duration is 161 days, but after being analyzed using the CPM method, the project can be completed in 154 days. Thus, it can be seen after analyzing using the CPM method that the time comparison with the previously scheduled project duration is 7 days.

Abstract

Indonesia, as a developing country, continues to carry out infrastructure development, including the expansion of Sultan Hasanuddin Airport's main terminal in Makassar. This research aims to identify the influence of age, experience, and education on worker productivity in the project. Using a quantitative approach, data was collected through direct observation, questionnaires, and interviews with relevant parties. The analysis showed that all three variables have a significant and positive impact on worker productivity. Work experience has the largest effect (0.393), followed by education (0.302) and age (0.270). These findings indicate that workers with higher experience and education tend to have better productivity, while age also contributes but with a smaller impact. This research underscores the importance of effective human resource management in supporting infrastructure development. By improving worker quality through education and experience, companies can achieve optimal results. The findings provide insights for project managers and policymakers in designing human resource

Abstract

Mimika Regency, Central Papua is currently facing geographical challenges. Timika's location far from the national distribution center causes limited access to goods and services, including heavy equipment. This condition is exacerbated by high logistics costs, minimal local providers, and underdeveloped transportation infrastructure. One case occurred in the Wandai Jaya company project, which experienced delays due to the unavailability of motor graders for rental. The delay had an impact on the postponement of the work resulting in disruption of the project schedule and the potential for financial losses and the company's reputation. Therefore, a long-term heavy equipment procurement strategy is needed. This study analyzes the feasibility of procuring motor graders through three methods, namely cash purchases, credit purchases, and rentals, using the Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR) approach. The calculation results show that the credit method produces a total cost of IDR 1,838,213,558 with a BCR of 0.01, cash purchases of IDR 1,450,000,000 with a BCR of 0.14, and rentals of IDR 2,925,000,000 with a BCR of 2.4. Based on the analysis, the rental method proved to be the most economically profitable. This finding can be the basis for decision making in heavy equipment procurement to improve project efficiency, especially in areas with logistical challenges such as Timika.

Abstract

The construction project development process is generally an activity that contains many elements of danger. This causes the construction industry to have a poor record in terms of occupational safety and health. This study aims to analyze the effect of the implementation of Occupational Safety and Health on project performance and to determine the dominant factors that influence the performance of workers in the 500l/sec capacity IPA construction project for the Maminasata SPAM, South Sulawesi Province, phase 1. This type of research is a quantitative research type with numerical analysis using the SPSS application. The results of this study obtained two variables that influence the performance of project workers, namely the work safety variable (X1) and worker health (X2) and the dominant factor that influences performance is worker health (X2).

Abstract

Construction projects cannot be separated from obstacles that can cause delays in the work of ongoing construction projects. That obstacle is a factor in the delay in completing the project, so that the project does not run according to the original plan, in this case the Griya Amerta Residence housing project. This study aims to analyze whether there is an effect of delay on the performance of implementation time in the Griya Amerta Residence housing project. This type of research uses an approach method with numerical data that begins with a survey and is analyzed by multiple linear regression analysis operated by the SPSS program. Multiple linear regression analysis is used to find the relationship pattern between bound variables and free variables. Based on the results obtained in the regression model with the output value of sig. 0.000 which means less than 0.05, it can be stated that the labor, material, and financial variables simultaneously affect the performance variable of the implementation time (Y). The factor that has a dominant influence on the performance of the implementation time is the material variable (X2) with a sig. 0.001 and financial variable (X3) with a value of sig. 0.000. which means that both variables have a value of sig. which is less than 0.05, then it can be concluded that these two variables have a significant effect on the performance of implementation time (Y).

Abstract

This research aims to determine the productivity of container services at the container port (Makassar New Port) by analyzing the influence of equipment age, human resources and environmental factors on the productivity of container services at the Makassar New Port. This type of research is carried out with a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression analysis. The main data source comes from information obtained through direct observation at the research location and interviews. The research results show that partially and simultaneously the equipment age, human resources and environmental factors influence the productivity of container services at Makassar New Port.
