Abstract

Abstract

Port is a gateway which facilitates connection between regions, islands and even continents as well as between nations that can develop the hinterland area behind or also known as the area of influence. Previously, to manage ports in Indonesia, four state-owned ports were formed that play a role in the development and operation of national ports which were divided based on different regions, namely PT Pelabuhan Indonesia I (Persero)/Pelindo I, PT Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Persero)/Pelindo II, PT Pelabuhan Indonesia III (Persero)/Pelindo III, and PT Pelabuhan Indonesia IV (Persero)/Pelindo IV which have their respective operating areas coverage.. The separation of BUMN Ports into several operating areas contributes to the challenges of the national port industry. The merger of SOE Ports is expected to have significant benefits for stakeholders such as the government. This research aims to evaluate the prospect financial performance of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) after merger by comparing the financial ratio before and after merger , as well as comparing the financial ratio of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) with another 12 Global Port Company using descriptive analysis and K-Means Clustering. The research result shows that the financial performance before merger decreased, the company ‘s financial performance cluster before merger is low (in the 3rd cluster) and yje company financial performance after the merger is stable on the 3rd cluster. Therefore, PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) need to formulate several strategy to increase their financial performance especially in optimizing their assets and inventory to have more efficient operational to generate higher sales.

Abstract

Through Davis's TAM theory, which was created in 1989, this study wants to find out how motivated people are to use the Google Workspace for Education (GWE) platform in blended learning as one of the media used in the independent curriculum. Actual System Usage, which measures user interest, is an internal variable. Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Usefulness, Behavioral Intention to Use, and Motivation are all external factors. The study method is quantitative and descriptive, and path analysis is used to figure out how the different variables affect each other. There were 110 teachers from different schools who took part in this study's group. The results showed that the motivation variable directly had a significant positive effect on interest, and motivation also had a significant positive effect on respondents' attitudes toward using the Google Workspace for education platform for learning. Positive but not statistically significant results were found for the direct influence of convenience on interest and usability on interest, while the influence of usability, attitude, and convenience was able to mediate the influence of motivation, attitude, and convenience.

Abstract

The purpose was to determine the chemical content (water, protein, fat, ash, and carbohydrate) and sensory characteristics of Herbal Chicken Essence (HCE), a functional drink containing chilcken extract, from Indonesia. The experimental design was factorial and completely randomized with two replicates. There are four formulas in this study, namely F1 (broiler chicken and coconut sugar), F2 (broiler chicken and coconut sugar), F3 (IPB D1 chicken and palm sugar), and F4 (IPB D1 chicken and coconut sugar). The chemical content data were analyzed using a two-way ANOVA. Panelists used in the sensory tests included 30 participants. There was a significant effect (p<0.05) of chicken and sugar substitution on water, ash, protein, and carbohydrate contents. Formula 2 (broiler chicken and coconut sugar) is the most preferred in almost all sensory attributes (aroma, taste, mouthfeel, aftertaste, and overall acceptance) because the sour taste found in coconut sugar is able to suppress the fishy taste found in HCE. The substitution of the chicken breed and sugar in the HCE formulations affected the chemical content and sensory characteristics

Abstract

The phenomenon of public display of affection (PDA), or the act of expressing affection in public spaces, has become increasingly prevalent among Indonesian adolescents. However, this practice often sparks debate, as Indonesian culture upholds values of modesty and Eastern norms that generally regard public displays of affection as inappropriate. This study aims to examine the contribution of possessiveness and self-existence in predicting public display of affection attitude among Indonesian adolescents. Employing a quantitative approach, the study involved 300 adolescents aged 13–18 years in Indonesia, selected through a cluster sampling technique. The instruments used included the Love Addiction Inventory, the Self-Existential Scale, and a public display of affection attitude scale developed by the researchers. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS. The findings revealed that possessiveness and self-existence significantly influenced public display of affection attitude, contributing a total of 60%. Furthermore, significant differences were found based on gender in the average scores of the public display of affection and self-existence variables, with male adolescents tending to have higher average scores on both variables. These results provide a basis for developing educational programs on healthy expressions of affection and serve as a reference for further research on the psychological dynamics within adolescent interpersonal relationships.
