Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop an evaluation model of computer and network engineering learning program (EKOP) in SMK. The trial sample amounted to 402 respondents. Trials were conducted in several areas of the city of Padang. Data collection techniques implemented using the rating scale method and attitude inventory. The technique of analyzing data uses quantitative and qualitative approaches. Based on the analysis of the data obtained the results that can be concluded are: a). EKOP in computer and network engineering matches the data in the field; b). The EKOP evaluation model is excellent in the assessment of processes and results. This is based on the results and the assessment process of users, experts, and practitioners learning in computer and network techniques; and c). the assessment of users, experts and practitioners of computer engineering learning shows that the evaluation evaluation guidelines are quite good as a basis or reference for implementing the EKOP evaluation model in computer and network engineering in SMK; and d). EKOP models apply systematic and systemic thinking flow.

Abstract

Goals evaluation research is to illustrate the effectiveness of laboratory computer management in TKJ majors in SMKN Padang City in terms of context, input, process, and product dimensions. In this evaluation research approach with a quantitative descriptive approach. The evaluation model implemented is the evaluation of the CIPP model: Context, Input, Process, Product. The method used is a survey method and data collection tools such as questionnaires, observation sheets, and documentation. Research informants consisted of 4 Principal of SMKN, 4 Vice Principals in the field of Sarpras, 4 Head of TKJ, 4 Head of Lab. Computers, 21 TKJ teachers, and 168 TKJ students of class XI in the 2018/2019 school year. The results of research at the TKJ Department in Padang City Vocational School said that: (1). In terms of context, the effectiveness of laboratory computer management in very good condition with the achievement of a percentage score of 86.96%; (2). In terms of input, the effectiveness of laboratory computer management is in very good condition with an average score of 86.46%; (3). In terms of the process effectiveness of laboratory computer management in good condition with an average score of 7.0%; and (4). In terms of product effectiveness the management of laboratory computers in good condition with an achievement score of 77.06%

Abstract

Goals of this study are to describe the context, input, process and product components in guidance career program at SMK Negeri 5 Padang. The study is performing by distributing questionares to the student and interview to the guidance tutor. The type of this research is evaluative research using descriptive qualitative research methods. Based on this study, we can find that the context component has been well programmed as what the student describes 84,01%. Input component has not support the implementation scheduled program which shows by student 68,61%. At process component , as student statement 65,64% shows that process component has not been effective. Product component has not been optimum shows by student statement 69,30%. Generally we can have a conclucion that the implementation career guidance program at SMK Negeri 5 Padang has not been consistent with input and process component to achieve optimum result.
