Abstract

Keberhasilan pendidikan dipengaruhi oleh peran guru dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas. Oleh karena itu guru diharapkan memilik etos kerja yang baik. Dengan menjunjung tinggi nilai-nilai etika kerja, guru bekerja dengan tulus dan ikhlas, semata-mata untuk kepentingan khalayak umum, Bangsa, dan Agama. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh kepuasan kerja terhadap etos kerja guru SMK swasta Se Kecamatan Medan Tembung, penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif korelasional dengan metode survey, populasi sebanyak 132 orang dengan sampel 30% yaitu 40 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan antara kepuasan kerja dan etos kerja guru SMK swasta se Kecamatan Medan Tembung dengan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,637. Hal ini berarti bahwa semakin tinggi kepuasan kerja maka etos kerja guru juga cenderung tinggi. Dan nilai koefisien determinasi yang diperoleh dari r2 (0,637)2 adalah 0,406. Hal ini berarti pengaruh kepuasan kerja terhadap etos kerja guru adalah 0,406 x 100% = 40,6 %. Artinya kepuasan kerja memberikan sumbangan sebesar 40,6 % terhadap etos kerja guru.

Abstract

This activity aims to provide education to students about the benefits and how to make bar soap; introduce the tools and materials used to make bar soap. This activity was carried out at Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) Medan Middle School. The method for implementing community service consists of 3 stages, namely the preparation stage, the implementation stage and the reporting stage. In the preparation stage, preparations are made for socialization, determining the location of Community Service, coordinating with the school principal, as well as preparing proposals and completing supporting documents. At the implementation stage, a pre-test was given to students on how to make bar soap. The socialization was carried out by the presenter. After the socialization was completed, a post-test was conducted on the soap, games were played, group photos were taken, and the soap that had been prepared was distributed. At the reporting stage, namely the preparation of documents in the form of activity results reports. The results of this activity have had a significant impact on increasing students' understanding, which can be seen from the pre-test and post-test data that have been carried out. Before the PKM activity was carried out, only 11% of participants knew that cooking oil could be used for other purposes besides frying. Only 9% of participants knew that cooking oil could be processed into soap, only 6% of participants knew the ingredients used to make soap, and only 14% of participants knew the process of making soap. After the PKM activity, 100% of participants knew that cooking oil could be used as a basic ingredient for making soap, 89% of participants knew that cooking oil could be processed into soap, 77% of participants knew the ingredients used in making soap, and 86% of participants knew the process of making soap.

Abstract

Pandemi covid-19 yang melanda Indonesia pada awal tahun 2020 telah mengubah pola hidup manusia, wabah berbahaya ini mengajarkan manusia untuk lebih menghargai kehidupan, pembatasan aktivitas dilakukan sebagai upaya untuk tetap sehat dan mampu bertahan hidup. Bersamaan dengan itu pemerintah mengeluarkan surat edaran tentang pembatasan aktivitas di luar rumah, tanpa terkecuali aktivitas belajar mengajar di sekolah. Proses pembelajaran tatap muka yang selama ini sudah menjadi budaya mau tidak mau harus beralih kepada pembelajaran dari rumah dengan memanfaatkan internet sebagai alat penghubung yang dikenal dengan pembelajaran daring. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui manajemen pembelajaran selama pandemi covid-19 di TKIT Insan Mulia Kecamatan TebingĀ  Kabupaten Karimun. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, data kumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara dengan informan dan studi dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, guru kelas serta orantua peserta didik yang terlibat dalam proses pembelajaran selama pandemi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) guru melakukan perencanaan pembelajaran dalam bentuk RPPH 2) pembelajaran dilakukan dengan metode penugasan, aplikasi yang digunakan adalah whatsapp, facebook (massangger) dan platform zoom meetingĀ  3) penilaian atau evaluasi dilakukan satu kali dalam seminggu dan dibantu oleh orangtua di rumah.

Abstract

The significance of the work environment in bolstering teacher performance in private primary schools served as the impetus for this study. At Nahdlatul Ulama Private Elementary School in Medan, the goals were to assess the state of the workplace, the caliber of teacher performance, and the impact of the workplace on teacher performance. The study used basic regression analysis as part of a quantitative methodology. Nine teachers made up the population; all of them participated in the study as responders. A questionnaire on a five-point Likert scale was used to gather data. Prior to hypothesis testing, normality and linearity tests were required. The results show that teacher performance is classified as very good with a mean score of 3.40, and the work environment is classified as very good with a mean score of 3.37. With a correlation value of 0.069 and a coefficient of determination of 0.005, regression results, however, do not demonstrate a positive and substantial impact of the work environment on teacher performance. This indicates that whereas other factors impact 99.5% of teacher effectiveness, the work environment only affects 0.5% of it. These results imply that in order to enhance teacher performance and contribute to the creation of school management policies, more factors should be taken into account.
