Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine the ability of the 10th-grade students at State Senior High School 1 Sidrap to interpret the poem "Bila Kutitipkan" by Ahmad Mustofa Bisri and the factors influencing students' ability to interpret poetry. The sample for this research consists of 30 students. The research was conducted on September 18, 2023, at State Senior High School 1 Sidrap. The data collection method used was group discussions. The data was analyzed using frequency tables. Based on the research results, it was found that 24 students scored above 75, with a percentage of 80%, and 6 students scored below 75, with a percentage of 20%. Based on the data above, it can be concluded that 10th-grade students at State Senior High School 1 Sidrap are capable of interpreting the poem "Bila Kutitipkan" by Gus Mus. There are three factors influencing students' ability to interpret poetry: the frequency of reading poetry, the enjoyment of reading poetry, and the impact of poetry on students' lives. Based on the research results, out of the 30 students at State Senior High School 1 Pancarijang, 22 of them stated that they often and enjoy reading poetry, and poetry has an impact on their lives, while 8 students stated that they neither enjoy nor often read poetry, and poetry does not have an impact on their lives.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the forms of deixis and their reference meanings found in the novel Dunia Anna by Jostein Gaarder. This article is a study that uses a qualitative descriptive method. The data are in the form of words, phrases, sentences that contain deixis in the novel Dunia Anna. The data collection techniques in this study were intensive reading techniques and recording techniques, after which the data were analyzed using the Yule theory with the Miles and Huberman models, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions/verification. Based on data analysis, five forms of deixis were found in the novel Dunia Anna by Jostein Gaarder, namely persona deixis, place deixis, time deixis, discourse deixis, and social deixis. The forms of personal deixis found include 1) (I) and (I) as the first singular personal deixis, 2) (we) and (us) as the plural first person deixis, 3) (you), (you) and (you) as second person singular deixis, 4) (you) as plural second person deixis, 5) (he) and (she) as third person singular deixis, 6) (they) as third person plural deixis. Whereas the forms of place deixis are here, there, and there. While the deixis of time are, present time, past time and future time. Discourse deixis and social deixis are also found in this novel. Discourse deixis includes anaphora and cataphora while social deixis includes age, gender, occupation, and social position. The conclusion of this article is the use of the form of persona deixis that dominates the forms of deixis found in the novel, this is because the characters in the story often mention themselves in the dialogue.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis dan desain penelitian berdasarkan pendekatan sastra. Penelitian sastra merupakan upaya pencarian pengetahuan dan pemberian makna terhadap masalah sastra dengan hati-hati dan kritis. Penelitian ini menerapkan pendekatan kualitatif dengan penekanan pada karakteristik data. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif untuk memahami fenomena secara holistik melalui deskripsi berbentuk kata-kata dan bahasa. Pendekatan sosiologi sastra diadopsi, menitikberatkan pada aspek kemasyarakatan dalam karya sastra, menganggapnya sebagai respons pengarang terhadap realitas sosial. Fokus penelitian adalah pada puisi "Pidato Seorang Demonstran" karya Mansur Samin dan respons pengarang terhadap masalah sosial yang diungkapkan melalui kritik. Data primer diperoleh dari puisi tersebut, sementara data sekunder melibatkan berbagai dokumen terkait dan literatur ilmiah tentang metode studi dan teori sosiologi sastra. Pendekatan tinjauan literatur digunakan dalam pengumpulan data melalui artikel, laporan akademis, tesis, dan buku. Analisis data dilakukan dengan metode analisis isi, memfokuskan pada identifikasi dan interpretasi pesan inti karya sastra. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa puisi "Pidato Seorang Demonstran" mencerminkan latar belakang perubahan politik, ketidakstabilan ekonomi, dan ketidakpuasan masyarakat pada masa tersebut. Kritik sosial dalam puisi ini mencakup penyalahgunaan kekuasaan, masalah ekonomi, politik, dan hak asasi manusia. Kritik tersebut membahas tindakan represif militer, ketidaksetaraan ekonomi, perilaku pemimpin politik, dan pelanggaran hak asasi manusia. Puisi ini menjadi suara yang mencerminkan kondisi sosial-politik Indonesia pada masa itu dan memberikan perspektif tentang aspirasi dan ketidakpuasan masyarakat.

Abstract

Abstrak: Analisis Penggunaan Afiksasi dalamNovelTrauma Karya Boy Candra.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan afiksasi dalam novel Trauma karya Boy Candra.Metodeyangdigunakandalampenelitianiniadalah metode deskriptif kualitatif untuk mendeskripsikan data berupakata yang termasuk jenis afiksasi dalam novelTrauma karya Boy Candra.Teknikpengumpulandatadalampenelitian ini adalah dengan teknik pustaka dan teknik catat, setelahitu dilanjutkan dengan menganalisis data yang ditemukan.Berdasarkan dengan hasil analisis data mengenai jenis afiksasi dalam novel Trauma Karya Boy Candra ditemukan lima jenis afiksasi berdasarkan dengan teori Abdul Chaer yang terdiri dari prefiks, infiks, sufiks, konfiks, dan klofiks. Dalam penelitian ini, penggunaan afikasasi lebih banyak ditemukan dalam novel tersebut. Bentuk prefiks yang ditemukan ter-, me-,pe-, be-, ke-, se-, dan di-.Bentuk infiks yang ditemukan yaitu, -el-, -er-, dan -em-.Bentuk sufiks yang ditemukan yaitu, -an, -kan, dan-nya. Bentuk konfiks yang ditemukan yaitu, per-an, pe-an, ber-an, ke-an, dan se-nya. Sedangkan klofiks yang ditemukan, me-kan, memper-kan, me-i, di-kan, di-i, diper-kan, dan diper-i. Abstract: Analysis of the Use of Affixation in Boy Candra's Trauma Novel. The aim of this research is to describe the use of affixation in the novel Trauma by Boy Candra. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method to describe data in the form of words which are included in the type of affixation in the novel Trauma by Boy Candra. The data collection technique in this research is using library techniques and note-taking techniques, after which it continues with analyzing the data found. Based on the results of data analysis regarding the types of affixation in Boy Candra's novel Trauma, five types of affixation were found based on Abdul Chaer's theory, consisting of prefixes, infixes, suffixes, confixes and clofixes. In this research, the use of affixations was found more frequently in the novel. The forms of prefixes found are ter-, me-, pe-, be-, ke-, se-, and di-. The forms of infixes found are, -el-, -er-, and -em-. The forms of suffixes found are , -an, -kan, and-nya. The forms of confixes found are, per-an, pe-an, ber-an, ke-an, and se-nya. Meanwhile, the clofixes found are me-kan, per-kan, me-i, di-kan, di-i, per-kan, and per-i.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini dilakukan pada guru SMAN 10 Sidrap yang berjumlah 40 orang. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk memberi pelatihan dan pendampingan kepada guru sasaran dalam mendesai bahan ajar berbasis dengan berbantuan Aplikasi Classroom. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini berupa persiapan, pelaksanana, dan evaluasi. Persiapan meliputi persiapan admisitrasi dan sosialisasi. Pelaksanaan meliputi pelatihan dan pendampingan pengoperasi aplikasi. Evaluasi dilakukan setelah kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan. Hal ini bertujuan untuk mengukur kemampuan guru dan hambatan yang dialami guru. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa guru telah mampu mendesain bahan ajar berbasis digital dengan bantuan aplikasi Classroom. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga menghasilkan handout tentang cara pengoperasian Classroom.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the forms of icons, indexes, and symbols based on Peirce's semiotics in the film "Andragogy” by Wregas Bhanuteja. The formulation of the research problem is how the forms of icons, indexes, and symbols of Peirce's semiotics are in the film "Andragogy". The approach to this research is a descriptive qualitative type. Data in the form of iconic signs, indexes, and symbols in scenes from the film "Andragogy" by Wregas Bhanuteja. The data source for this research comes from a film that premiered on the Netflix application on March 21, 2024, entitled "Andragogy". The data collection technique for this research is observing, recording, and documenting. The data analysis technique is carried out by data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study are index data that dominates the signs in the film. Then, the icon and index data are the minimum data found in the film “Andragogy”.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in language use between men and women in poetry writing by students at Muhammadiyah University of Sidenreng Rappang. This study applies a descriptive approach with qualitative methods. This study utilizes two approaches to obtain data, namely data reduction and data presentation. The research data is in the form of text in the form of: words, phrases, sentences, in poetry written by students. The data sources used in this study include poetry from semester 3 and 5 students of the 2023/2024 academic year, totaling 30 poems, 15 poems by female students and 15 poems by male students written in college assignments. Data reduction is carried out through in-depth observation to collect data, as well as recording, classifying, and categorizing data relevant to the problem formulation. Based on this research, it can be concluded that in poetry writing by students at Muhammadiyah University of Sidenreng Rappang, the most frequently used language is color words. The use of language is dominated by women, as seen from the use of color wordwhich are found more often than men.
