Abstract

Background: The Automotive Engineering Department of SMKN 2 Surakarta has a problem with a lack of classrooms, unmet standards of space area and height, and problems of glare and heat in the room caused by wide ventilation but no canopy or coating walls. Based on the Guidelines for the Standardization of High School Buildings and Furniture, the infrastructure that is met, the building requirements, and the provisions that are applied greatly affect student learning. Space, air circulation, natural and artificial lighting are related to the performance of teachers and learners.Methods: This planning and design uses the architectural programming method with a green architecture approach. The stages of architectural programming include: determining goals, collect fact, uncover and test concepts, determining needs, and design. Data sources were taken from informants, archives, and documents. Data collection was conducted using observation, interview, and documentation techniques.Results: Space requirements in the Automotive Engineering Department include classrooms, teachers' rooms, basic automotive workshops, material tool rooms, toolman rooms and toilets. The application of green architecture principles includes conserving energy by utilizing solar panels, utilizing gray water, using brightly colored paint; working with climate by utilizing natural lighting and air conditioning, skylight applications, cross ventilation; respect for site through site shape adjustments; respect for use through calculating the area of space according to standards, installing roster walls and vegetation, minimizing new resources related to conserving energy; and holistic.Conclusion: The Automotive Engineering Building consists of two masses, namely the two-story main building (12 classrooms, 1 teacher's room, 4 toilets) and the one-story basic automotive workshop building (1 practice room, 2 toilets, 1 tool and material room and toolman room). The opening area for natural lighting and ventilation is 17-20% following the opening area guideline of 10-20% of the floor area. The use of solar panels as an effort to save energy produces a power of 9,500 WP which can meet the power needs of 9,262.56 WP. The management of gray water which can then be used to flush toilets is 4,645.2 L/day (33%) of the water demand of 13,974 L/day (100%).

Abstract

Tujuan pengabdian ini untuk mengembangkan potensi wista situs manik moyo di wilayah kapanewon Gedangsari, kabupaten Gunungkidul. Potensi wisata disana adalah potensi alam yang menarik, potensi sosial dan budaya yang unik. Obyek Wisata Situs Manik Moyo memiliki petensi agrowisata (kebun buah jambu), wisata budaya (candi manik moyo), wisata adventure(petualangan), Camping ground dan spot-spot foto. Pendapatan dari obyek wisata menjadi Pendapatan Asli Desa (PAD) Kalurahan Serut untuk pembangunan manusia dan fisik di masyarakat. Peningkatan jumlah kunjungan. Proses pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi, Forum Group Discussion (FGD), dan studi pustaka. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan tahapan reduksi dan penyajian data serta penarikan kesimpulan. Uji Validitas dan reliabilitas dilakukan melalui proses trianggulasi. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah pemerintah, masyarakat, dan pengembang pariwisata yang berjumlah 8 orang. Terdapat tiga prinsip pokok keorganisasian yaitu keanggotaan bersifat sukarela dan terbuka, pengelolaan dilakukan secara demokratis, dan kemandirian. Seluruh aktifitas pengembangan daya tarik wisata manik moyo untuk meningkatkan jumlah wisatawan dan pendapatan masyarakat. Kriteria obyek wisata yang baik meliputi daya tarik, aksesibilitas, fasilitas umum dan fasilitas wisata, pemberdayaan masyarakat, dan pemasaran atau promosi. Semua aktivitas pengembangan daya tarik wisata situs manik moyo mampu meningkatakan kujungan wisatawan dan meningkatkan pendapatan asli desa.

Abstract

The learning material about body's defence system is considered difficult by students because it related to mechanisms internals organs and abstract concepts. The attempt that able to create is by increasing logical thinking and curiosity. Nevertheless, the lack of learning media used by teachers does not support the ability to think logically and curiosity of students. The purpose of this research is to create learning media based contextual teaching and learning (CTL) through electronic magazines that proper, practical, and effective to improving student's logical thinking and curiosity. The procedure used for the research are ADDIE development model consists of five steps, which are analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The trial test used a quasi experimental design of nonequivalent control group design. The control and experimental classes were selected using the random sampling method so that there were different numbers of students in each class selected. The trial subjects were divided into control class (35 students) and experimental class (36 students). Based on the results of data analysis revealed that: (1) CTL electronic magazines is proper to use as learning media with a very worthy category; (2) CTL electronic magazines is practical to use as learning media based on learner responses percentage of learning implementation 90% with very good category; (3) CTL electronic magazines are proven effective to increased the logical thinking ability and curiosity of students

Abstract

Bimbingan pra klinik menjadi kunci kesiapan seseorang untuk memulai melakukan rangkaian kegiatan dalam suatu perilaku. Ketidaktahuan dan ketidaksiapan mahasiswa keperawatan saat praktik klinik disebabkan mahasiswa umumnua belum memiliki pengalaman atau pengalaman sebelumnya tentang praktik klinik. Hampir semua siswa Program Studi Keperawatan di Politeknik Negeri Subang mengalami cemas saat praktik pertama kali di rumah sakit, mahasiswa menjadi tidak berdaya dan takut melakukan kesalahan. Penyebab lain dari kecemasan adalah kekhawatiran mahasiswa tentang melakukan kesalahan dan membahayakan pasien karena kurangnya pengetahuan mereka. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan pemberian motivasi oleh pembimbing klinik dengan kesiapan mahasiswa melaksanakan praktik klinik di rumah sakit. Metode penelitian adalah deskriptif analitik. Tehnik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode simple random sampling terhadap mahasiswa tingkat II dan III yang melaksanakan praktik di rumah sakit. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 48 orang. Kuesioner yang digunakan terdiri atas kuesioner pemberian motivasi oleh pembimbing klinik dan kesiapan mahasiswa melaksanakan praktik klinik di rumah sakit yang disusun dengan menggunakan skala likert.Uji statistik yang digunakan adalah Chi Square dengan nilai kemaknaan p < 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat hubungan antara pemberian motivasi oleh pembimbing klinik dengan kesiapan mahasiswa melaksanakan praktik klinik (p = 0,037). Pemberian motivasi oleh pembimbing klinik membantu meningkatkan kesiapan dan keyakinan mahasiswa untuk melaksanakan praktik klinik. Pembimbing klinik hendaknya lebih mengoptimalkan pemberian motivasi kepada mahasiswa. Proses pemberian motivasi tidak akan membuat mahasiswa menjadi lebih professional secara instan, namun keteguhan dan keyakinan mahasiswa untuk melakukan PKK secara optimal dan menuju professional akan tercapai di masa depan.

Abstract

Introduction: The increase in the number of Tuberculosis sufferers is caused by various factors, namely the lack of patient compliance for treatment and taking medication, expensive drug prices, the emergence of multiple resistances, lack of host resistance to mycobacteria and reduced bactericidal power of existing drugs. It also has other negative impacts, socially stigmatized and ostracized by the community. Methods: This research is quantitative type. The design of this research is design used in this research, which is a cross-sectional design with observation or data collection at once (point time approach). The sample in this study was 20 people. The sampling technique used in this study was census sampling, this research data collection used a questionnaire measuring instrument, and the data analysis used the chi-square test. Results: the results of the analysis showed a significant degree of p < 0.000 by setting the degree of significance <0.005; thus, the conclusion is that there is a relationship between knowledge and adherence to drinking pulmonary tuberculosis in adolescents. Conclusions: there is a relationship between knowledge and adherence to drinking pulmonary tuberculosis in adolescents at the pediatric outpatients department at the District Hospital Subang.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) design and develop teaching materials namely job sheet disc brake system practice, (2) Obtain the feasibility level of teaching material products, namelyjob sheet brake system practice. This research will use the so-called development method Reseach and Development (R&D) was carried out on Vocational Education Automotive Vehicle Engineering students. The instrument of this data collector will use a questionnaire or commonly called a questionnaire distributed to media experts and material experts, as well as 8 small group test students and 25 field test students. The results of the validation trial by material experts get a percentage of 91.9% which can be categorized as valid. Meanwhile, from media experts, a percentage of 92.7% can be categorized as valid. Assessment by students of the Department of Automotive Light Vehicle Engineering vocational education obtained a percentage of 85.5% categorized as valid, therefore, this assessment can be interpreted if job sheet the practice of the disc brake system is very appropriate to be used as a learning resource for vocational education students of the Department of Automotive Vehicle Engineering.

Abstract

This study evaluates the effectiveness of integrating gamification into CNC programming instruction using the CAMotics simulator. Twenty-eight Mechanical Engineering students participated in a four-week gamified intervention combining leveling, points, badges, instant feedback, and leaderboards. Data were collected through pre/post-tests, motivation questionnaires, and simulator log metrics (time-on-task, error rate, and revisions). Results show significant improvements in post-test scores (p < 0.001) and substantial reductions in completion time and syntax errors (Cohen’s d > 2.8). Motivation scores also increased, with intrinsic motivation positively correlating with technical performance. Theoretically, this study extends technology-enhanced learning by positioning simulator log data as a performance-based evaluation framework for vocational gamification design. Although the study was conducted without a control group, the findings provide preliminary evidence of the effectiveness of gamified simulator learning in vocational engineering contexts. Practically, it offers an evidence-driven model for integrating digital gamified learning into mechanical engineering education.
