Abstract

Politeknik Negeri Subang merupakan lembaga pendidikan vokasi baru yang dibangun di Kabupaten Subang dan memiliki potensi menjadi salah satu sekolah vokasi unggulan sesuai dengan bidang keahliannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat petunjuk pengoperasian dan perawatan alat peraga elektropneumatik yang telah dibuat pada penelian sebelumnya. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan. Pengambilan data menggunakan observasi dan dokumentasi. Data yang diambi lalu dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: 1) Petunjuk pengoperasian dari alat peraga elektropneumatik ini memilki tata cara dalam pengoperasiannya; 2) Rencana perawatan alat peraga elektropneumatik terdiri atas; pemeriksaan kompresor, pelumasan bearing motor listrik, pemeriksaan selang pada silinder, pemeriksaan selang pada selenoid valve, pemeriksaan selang air filter, membersihkan filter dalam tabung, pemeriksaan semua aliran, selenoid valve, limit switch, relay dan tombol dudukan banana plug.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendapatkan sebuah rancangan rangka mobil listrik ringan, memberikan rasa aman dan kenyamanan dengan maksud menjadi dasar penempatan kemudi, mesin, baterai, bodi kendaraan, dan komponen lainnya. Peneliti dilakukan menggunakan metode Research Development dengan bantuan perangkat lunak (software) yang mampu untuk pembuatan suatu model dalam bentuk gambar 3 dimensi, dalam hal ini software yang digunakan adalah software autodeks inventor. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat dismpulkan bahwa: (1) Desain rangka mobil menggunakan perangkat lunak komputer berupa CAD (Computer Aided Design). Jenis CAD yang digunakan adalah produk dari Autodesk Corp, yaitu Autodesk Inventor Profesional 2051; (2) Desain rangka mobil dengan spesifikasi motor penggerak BLDC disk motor Hi Grade Daya 800 wat dengan material rangka Pipa Besi Hitam 1 inch; (3) Analisis tinggi rangka saat menerima beban 100 kg yaitu 18,87 cm dengan Rasio rantai 401 rpm.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa pembuatan alat, pelatihan diversifikasi dan pelatihan manajemen untuk petani buah rambutan di Desa Ciruluk, Kabupaten Subang, Provinsi Jawa Barat. Tanggal 12 Februari – 30 Juli 2020. Hasil Pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah adanya alat yang membantu proses pemanen buah rambutan, pelatihan pembuatan olahan buah rambutan dan pembentukan kelompok usaha bersama. Program pengabdian Masyarakat ini sebagai bentuk pelaksanaan Tri Darma Perguruan Tinggi bagi POLSUB dan menyambung tali silaturami Antara Perguruan Tinggi dengan Masyarakat

Abstract

Potensi desa wisata Cibeusi yang belum diketahui banyak orang menyebabkan desa wisata Cibeusi menjadi terhambat perkembangannya. Informasi tentang desa wisata Cibeusi yang masih sulit didapatkan menyebabkan masyarakat enggan mencari informasi yang dibutuhkan sehingga pengetahuan tentang desa wisata Cibeusi menjadi kurang. Sehingga diperlukan sistem yang dapat membantu masyarakat dalam mengakses informasi desa wisata Cibeusi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun suatu sistem informasi desa wisata Cibeusi berbasis website. Sistem informasi desa wisata Cibeusi berbasis website dibangun dengan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan Database MySQL. Metode pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan metode observasi dan wawancara. Tahap pengembangan sistem meliputi analisis, perancangan sistem, implementasi, dan pengujian. Sistem informasi desa wisata Cibeusi berbasis website yang dibuat dapat digunakan oleh masyarakat untuk mencari informasi tentang desa wisata Cibeusi.

Abstract

This study aims to make a preventive maintenance plan for tofu presses and cutters with a pneumatic system with the methods carried out namely inspection, small repair, medium repair and overhaul (ISMO). The preventive maintenance time on presses and tofu cutters with this pneumatic system is carried out with this type of maintenance on a monthly and annual basis. The research stages of implementing preventive maintenance on tofu presses and cutters with a pneumatic system includes literature studies, making maintenance schedules and expert validation. Components carried out preventive maintenance on the mechanical system which includes the frame, drive system, compressor and blades. data collection using observation and documentation. data were analyzed descriptively quantitative. The results showed that the preventive maintenance of tofu presses and cutters with a pneumatic system was intended to maintain the condition of the tools as well as to extend their service life and streamline the production process.

Abstract

The application of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) is essential in vocational institutions that have a high risk of accidents. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate the application of OSH in the Electrical Laboratory of Subang State Polytechnic using a qualitative descriptive method through observation and interviews. The results of this study indicate that aspects of the application of the standard Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and the use of practical work standards have a score of 66.25% and 62.5%, respectively. Meanwhile, the application of room standards seen from the four main indicators, namely furniture, equipment, educational media, and supporting equipment obtained a total score of 91% (high feasibility). In conclusion, the application of the PPE standard and practical work standard must be considered in detail to improve the overall OSH score.

Abstract

This study aims at hazard identification and risk assessment in an effort to prevent work accident at the Subang State Polytechnic's Combustion Engine Laboratory. This research is a qualitative-descriptive study with an observation stage using the hazard identification and risk assessment (HIRA) methods. Data were analyzed using Australian Standard/New Zealand Standard (AS/NZS) measurements. Conclusions from the results are: (1) occupational health and safety have not been implemented optimally in the Combustion Engine Laboratory; (2) 9 hazards were found in the laboratory consisted of 1 hazard in the H (high) category, 2 hazards in the M (moderate) category, and 6 hazards in the L (low) category, but none were in the extremely danger category; (3) recommended actions to be taken to reduce the danger in the laboratory are defining laboratory standard operating procedure, rearrangement of laboratory layout and equipment, and briefing students with clear instructions before and after practical work.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi bahaya dan menilai risiko, harapannya dapat mencegah terjadinya kecelakaan kerja di Laboratorium Motor Bakar Politeknik Negeri Subang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan tahap observasi menggunakan metode hazard identification and risk assessment (HIRA). Data selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan pengukuran yang digunakan dalam Australian Standard/New Zealand Standard (AS/NZS). Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) penerapan kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja (K3) di Laboratorium Motor Bakar belum optimal; (2) ditemukan 9 bahaya (hazard) di Laboratorium Motor Bakar yang terdiri dari 1 bahaya dalam kategori H (high), 2 bahaya dalam kategori M (moderate), dan 6 bahaya dalam kategori L (low) namun tidak ada yang masuk dalam kategori bahaya ekstrem; (3) rekomendasi tindakan yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengurangi bahaya di Laboratorium Motor Bakar yaitu pembuatan SOP laboratorium, penataan kembali tata ruang dan peralatan, serta pemberian instruksi sebelum dan sesudah praktikum kepada mahasiswa.

Abstract

This study aimed to perform performance testing and make a preventive maintenance plan on the roller bending machine with inspection, small-repair, medium repair, and overhaul (ISMO) methods. The preventive maintenance time of the roller bending machine run with daily and monthly types of maintenance. The results showed that the performance and calculations to determine the radius of the rolling results with the digital calculation method through the machine test application worked optimally. Monthly and daily routine preventive maintenance was accomplished using the ISMO method. The total time required for the roller bending machine prevention machine maintenance is 800 minutes per month. The breakdown includes 180 minutes for inspection, 80 minutes for minor repair, and 540 minutes for moderate repair.

Abstract

Community service activities are in the form of making tools and assistance in building clean and comfortable villages and reducing the risk of flooding due to accumulation of garbage in the coastal watershed (DAP) Mayangan Village, Legon Kulon District, Subang Regency, West Java Province. 12 August – 30 September 2021. The results of this community service are plastic waste processing machines and the formation of youth who care about waste in Mayangan Village. The results of this community service conclude that (1) the coastal watershed (DAP) environment is clean of plastic waste; (2) training on waste management and the dangers of waste is carried out to increase public awareness of the dangers of plastic waste; (3) plastic waste processing equipment is expected to reduce waste that causes flooding.
