Abstract

The development of lecturer professionalism in this research refers to education and training based on Law No. 14 of 2005 concerning the duties and functions of lecturers in implementing the tri dharma of higher education, responding to social change, and the era of globalization. This research aims to analyze and discover the education Leadership Style in Developing Lecturer Professionalism at UNHASY Jombang, Higher Education Leadership Strategy in Developing Lecturer Professionalism at UNHASY Jombang Lecturer Responses to Developing Lecturer Professionalism at UNHASY Jombang This research uses a qualitative approach, type of case study with a multisite design (case study). Data collection techniques use in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. Data analysis includes single-case and cross-case data analysis, using the Miles Huberman model of data analysis techniques: data presentation, data reduction, and concluding. Data checking for data validity is carried out through credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. The results of this research are as follows; The leadership style applies formal, charismatic symbolic leadership, the indicators are recognition of legality, clear direction of vision, knowing one's strengths, and giving authority to subordinates. Leaders behave as: communicative, motivative, visionary educators, managers, and leaders; who can build an optimistic spirit, Leadership strategies through persuasive approaches, communication, motivators, delegation, education, training to internalize Islamic boarding school values, improving welfare, partnerships, optimizing lecturer administration SOP systems and infrastructure; building trust to produce subordinate staff who have loyalty and integrity; Response to the development of lecturer professionalism carried out by leaders; first, the lecturer's response supports the indicators: loyalty, need for achievement, doing the best, work is worship; secondly, the lecturer's response is not supportive, the indicator is that they are not happy: it is difficult to accept change, transition, maintaining bad old traditions, low levels of increasing one's potential. Based on the substantive findings above, the formal findings in this research are "Formal Charismatic Symbolic Leadership.

Abstract

Abstract Strengthening the values of religious moderation is paramount in efforts to overcome diversity. The word lan moderation in religion is al-wasathiyah. In fact, in the field, religious moderation carried out in Cukir Jombang Village is carried out in a family manner in Islamic religious activities which include Islamic organisations, celebrations of Islamic holidays, and routine recitation. The implementation of this research is aimed at evaluating the model of implementing religious moderation in Cukir Jombang Village, by implementing three data collection models, namely documentation, observation, and interviews. The research location is Cukir Village, Diwek District, Jombang Regency. Based on the results of observations, it was found that religious activities at the Al-Qur'an Education Park acted as a place to spread love for humanity, introduce the value of moderation, and national ideas. Religious activities in Cukir Village, Diwek District, Jombang Regency run optimally and have a positive impact and are involved in strengthening Islamic religious organisations in various activities, fostering, and creating peace between religions and Muslims. Abstract

K.H. Salahuddin Wahid is a national figure with a background in architectural education, he is called a technocrat because of his role in physical development at Pesantren Tebuireng Jombang. The purpose of this study was to analyze KH. Salahudin Wahid's democratic leadership in Improving Modern Islamic Education at Pesantren Tebuireng. Using a qualitative approach with a historical method, data was collected through interviews, observation, and document analysis. The results of this study show that KH Salahudin Wahid's profile shows good democratic leadership characteristics, including moderate influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual, and collective consideration. His leadership strategy of integrating Islamic and general education of Pesantren Tebuireng has undergone changes in the era of the caretaker of K.H. Salahuddin Wahid. Through his role, Pesantren Tebuireng experienced changes in physical and non-physical aspects and the construction of new buildings to support facilities. In the non-physical field, K.H. Salahuddin Wahid established many units to support the process of organizing the pesantren. The impact is significant, improving the quality of education, modernizing physical facilities, strengthening the role of pesantren in society, and expanding the alumni network.

Abstract

Leadership in higher education has a strategic role in developing the professionalism of lecturers, especially in the Islamic higher education environment. The purpose of this study is to analyze leadership strategies in higher education and policies implemented to develop the professionalism of lecturers based on religious values. The study was conducted in two universities, UNHASY and UNIPDU. The type of research uses qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection involves observation, interviews, and documentation. Primary data was obtained from research subjects, namely the rector and lecturers, while secondary data was in public and private documents. Thematic data analysis techniques and data validity use triangulation techniques. The study results show that UNHASY and UNIPDU have a basic transformational leadership style but have different approaches. UNHASY applies leadership based on religious values ​​, focusing on character and ethical development. At the same time, UNIPDU adopts leadership that is more adaptive to global change and integrates religious practices with technological developments. Both leadership models significantly impact lecturer professionalism, as seen in competence in teaching, the use of technology, and the ability to be a moral role model. This study recommends the importance of developing visionary and responsive leadership to global change and the need to integrate ethical values ​​in developing lecturer professionalism. The implications of this study in the context of higher education confirm that supportive and participative leadership styles are essential for a thriving academic environment. Leadership styles must also be adjusted to the cultural context and values ​​that exist in each institution. This study also contributes to the development of the lecturer's professionalism theory. The findings suggest that effective higher education leadership contributes directly to improving the quality of lecturers' work, which includes innovation in teaching and achieving research targets.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji kepemimpinan Kyai di Pesantren Tebuaireng, dengan fokus pada transisi dari pendidikan kelasik ke pendidikan modern. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus kualitatif, dengan wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan analisis dokumen. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kyai menerapkan gaya kepemimpinan visioner, demokratis, dan spiritual yang menciptakan lingkungan inklusif yang mendorong kolaborasi dan inovasi. Kepemimpinan demokratis memungkinkan partisipasi aktif dalam pengambilan keputusan, sementara kepemimpinan karismatik memperkuat ikatan emosional antara Kyai dan staf, menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang harmonis. Selain itu, integrasi kepemimpinan spiritual membantu menjaga keseimbangan antara nilai-nilai agama tradisional dan kebutuhan pendidikan modern.Upaya modernisasi meliputi adopsi teknologi, pendidikan multibahasa, dan penggabungan perspektif Islam dalam sains, yang membekali santri dengan keterampilan penting untuk menghadapi tantangan global. Manajemen konflik juga dilakukan melalui musyawarah, yang menjamin keselarasan di tengah perubahan. Sebagai kesimpulan, inovasi kepemimpinan di Pesantren Modern Tebuireng berhasil menjembatani tradisi dan modernitas, menawarkan model bagi pesantren lain dalam menghadapi persaingan di dunia Pendidikan yang serba cepat

Abstract

The Islamic Religious Education Curriculum: What Does It Mean? What features distinguish Islamic religious instruction at madrasas, and what part do instructors play in this context? The administration of the Islamic Religious Education Curriculum in Madrasas and Universities is the focus of this study. Methodology for research. The Liberiy Researcher case study type is used in this qualitative research project. Using a literature review approach, this study finds and emphasises pertinent themes and records significant findings, frameworks, and tools from earlier studies that may be used as a foundation for future research. The study's findings demonstrate that attempts to teach the Islamic faith, whose doctrine is founded on the Koran and Hadith, are referred to as Islamic religious education. Characteristics Highlights religious and moral goals. Broadly encompassing and comprehensive in content, namely a curriculum that truly reflects the spirit of thought and comprehensive teachings. The curriculum has undergone several changes. and the latest is the 2013 curriculum or better known as K-13. In the development of the PAI curriculum at PTU.

Abstract

The digital modernization of education, which has a big influence on educational leadership, must be addressed wisely by policy makers in the educational environment. Of course, it must be equipped with skilled leadership so that it has implications for the quality of educators. The approach in this research is descriptive qualitative with a type of literature study, data obtained through various national and international journal references and research results that have relevance to what the author is doing. This research shows that the leadership of madrasah heads in the modern era of digitalization must of course be proficient and competent in reading the changes that occur due to skilled leadership, namely leadership that follows technological developments. Madrasah heads also play a role in improving the quality of educators, as well as several things that educators must do, namely the use of information technology, training, mentoring and guidance, developing discipline and regular supervision.
