Abstract

Wanita menopause akan mengalami penurunan berbagai fungsi tubuh, sehingga akan berdampak buruk bagi fisik dan psikis wanita. Salah satu faktor yang menyebabkan wanita tidak siap menerima perubahan psikis dan fisik pada masa menopause diantaranya pendidikan, pengetahuan yang masih rendah serta informasi yang masih kurang. Beberapa penelitian menyatakan pengetahua wanita tentang menopause masih rendah, hal ini seperti hasil penelitian Asifah (2021) menyatakan sebanyak 58,3% serta penelitian Ningsih (2018) sebanyak 20,8% wanita memiliki pengetahuan yang kurang tentang menopause. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh video edukasi terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan menopause pada ibu-ibu PKK sebelum dan sesudah diberikan edukasi video. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan kuantitatif pre-eksperimen dengan rancangan one grup Pre-test and Post-test. Pengambilan data dilakukan pada bulan Mei 2023. Populasi dalam penelitian ini Ibu-ibu PKK Dusun Cepor Sendangtirto Berbah Sleman yang berjumlah 189 dengan sampel penelitian sebanyak 65 responden dengan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner pengetahuan menopause. Analisis data meliputi univariat dan brivariat menggunakan uji statistik Wilxocon. Hasil Analisis tingkat pengetahuan sebelum diberikan pendidikan kesehatan sebagian besar responden termasuk dalam kategori kurang yaitu sebanyak (80%) dan hasil pengetahuan setelah diberikan pendidikan kesehatan sebagian besar responden termasuk dalam kategori baik yaitu sebanyak (90%). Hasil analisis data diperoleh nilai ρ (0,000) < α (0,05) maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan menggunakan video terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan menopause pada ibu. Terdapat pengaruh video edukasi terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan menopause pada Ibu-ibu PKK Dusun Cepor Sendangtirto Berbah Sleman sebelum dan sesudah diberikan pendidikan kesehatan menggunakan media edukasi video.

Abstract

Anemia is a condition in which the level of hemoglobin in the blood is less than normal. Adolescent girls are a group that is prone to anemia due to several factors including malnutrition, menstruation, socioeconomic status and adolescent knowledge. Providing education is one way to increase adolescent knowledge related to anemia in adolescents. This service activity will be carried out at SMP Muh. 1 Lime. This activity begins with the preparation stage, coordinates and prepares facilities and infrastructure, the implementation stage begins with the pretest and the provision of education using animated videos, as well as posttest. The final stage is reporting activities and follow-up plans. This activity is a follow-up to research that has been carried out in 2021 with the title "Increasing Adolescent Knowledge About Anemia Through Problem-Based Animation Education at SMP N.1 Kalasan". Based on the results of hemoglobin examination in 8th grade students, 18 people had hemoglobin levels below normal (<12g/dl). Of the 18 students who had anemia, there were 2 students who had severe anemia where Hb was 4.1g/dl and 8.5gr/dl. Based on the results of the pretest, it was found that the average knowledge of 8th grade students of Muhammadiyah 1 Gamping Junior High School was 78. This was because screening and education about anemia had never been carried out on adolescent girls at Muhammadiyah 1 Gamping Junior High School. The intervention provided in this activity is education about anemia in young women using animated media that has been used in the 2021 research. The results obtained after being given education, students were able to correctly answer some of the questions asked at the end of the activity. This proves that education using animation media can increase students' knowledge about anemia in adolescent girls.

Abstract

The elderly are the population aged 60 years and over. Due to the aging process, the elderly often experience physiological function disorders that interfere with their health and most often cause degenerative diseases. Diseases that are often complained of by the elderly such as heart and blood vessel disease, cancer, diabetes mellitus and others. The results of population projections for 2010-2035 estimated the number of elderly people at 10% of the population. It is stated that Indonesia is experiencing an ageing period.  The purpose of this service is to check the health of the elderly in Pantri Wreda Gondokusuman and health counseling to 10 elderly people. The activity was carried out on April 16, 2023. The results of health checks include blood pressure checks found as much as 60% have hypertension, blood sugar checks found 60% normal, uric acid the majority of elderly people experience high uric acid by 70%. After the health check was completed, it was continued with health counseling with the theme of preventing vascular disease. Pre-test results before counseling 60% of knowledge is lacking and 40% is sufficient. After education 40% of knowledge is in the good category and 50% in the sufficient category and 10% in the insufficient category. It is hoped that the elderly will be able to regularly check their health and maintain a healthy lifestyle so that the elderly can live optimally.

Abstract

Anemia pada remaja berdampak menurunkan konsentrasi, memori dan kinerja otak pada remaja,serta terhambatnya pertumbuhan fisik, menstruasi pertama, menurunnya kekebalan tubuh dan prestasi belajar. Meningkatnya angka kejadian anemia pada remaja salah satu penyebabnya adalah karena kurangnya pengetahuan. Peningkatan pengetahuan dapat dilakukan salah satunya dengan pendidikan kesehatan. Tujuan dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan remaja putri terkait anemia. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di SMP N 3 Kalasan Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Kalasan pada bulan Oktober 2024. Sasaran kegiatan ini adalah remaja putri yang berjumlah 32 responden. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini di lakukan dalam 3 tahapan yaitu tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan dan tahap evaluasi. Tahap persiapan meliputi pengurusan surat izin, pengumpulan data awal berupa pengkajian dengan memberikan pretest kepada responden terkait pengetahuan anemia. Tahap pelaksanaan kegiatan yaitu melakukan pendidikan kesehatan dengan menggunakan PPT, poster. Tahap evaluasi adalah melakukan posttest terkait pengetahuan anemia dan pembuatan laporan hasil pendidikan kesehatan yang diberikan kepada responden. Hasil kegiatan didaptakan bahwa terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan remaja putri mengenai anemia dari nilai rata-rata pretest 27,41 meningkat pada posttest menjadi 27,88. Kesimpulan, materi edukasi mampu meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terkait anemia.

Abstract

Menstruation is vaginal bleeding that occurs periodically due to the shedding of the endometrial lining of the uterus. Menstruation is often followed by various complaints, including pain during menstruation, cycle disturbances, blood volume during menstruation and menstrual hygiene. Most teenagers get information related to menstruation from her friends, so that the information obtained is not necessarily true and good quality. The purpose of this community service is to increase the knowledge of Islamic boarding school teenagers on problems related to menstruation and how to solve them. The method used in the form of counseling and video playback. The results obtained are 80% of respondents received information related to menstruation.64% got the information from friends. The level of knowledge of respondents before being given education was mostly 64% in the poor category, and after receiving counseling 100% in the good category. The conclusion in this community service is that there is an increase in the knowledge of the teenagers of the Islamic boarding school & LKSA Bintaan Sa'adillah Ar Rosid Krapyak Wetan after providing education about menstruation.

Abstract

Anak usia sekolah menghabiskan seperempat waktunya berada disekolah. Banyaknya aktifitas seringkali membuat anak melupakan waktu makan sehingga mereka seringkali membeli jajanan menurut kesukaan mereka sendiri untuk sekedar mengganjal perut tanpa memikirkan bahan-bahan yang terkandung di dalamnya. Jajanan memegang peranan yang cukup penting dalam memberikan asupan energi dan zat gizi bagi anak usia sekolah. Jajanan yang kurang terjamin kesehatannya dapat berpotensi menyebabkan keracunan, gangguan pencernaan dan jika berlangsung lama akan menyebabkan status gizi yang buruk. Selain itu, jajanan tidak sehat dapat menyebabkan prestasi anak di sekolah juga terganggu. Oleh karena itu, perlu diadakan edukasi untuk memberikan pengetahuan tambahan anak mengenai pentingnya memilih jajanan yang sehat. Tujuan dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan anak terkait jajanan sehat. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini di rencanakan dalam 3 tahapan yaitu tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan dan tahap evaluasi. Tahap persiapan meliputi pengurusan surat izin, pengumpulan data awal berupa pengkajian dengan memberikan pretest kepada anak terkait jajanan sehat. Tahap pelaksanaan kegiatan yaitu melakukan pendidikan kesehatan dengan menggunakan PPT. Tahap evaluasi adalah melakukan posttest terkait pengetahuan jajanan sehat dan pembuatan laporan hasil pendidikan kesehatan yang diberikan kepada anak.

Abstract

Dysmenorrhea is one of the disorders experienced by women during menstruation, including young deaf women. Dysmenorrhea needs to be treated in order to minimize the symptoms from worsening. Unfortunately, deaf people generally experience difficulties in receiving and understanding the information conveyed orally, so it is necessary to provide information about dysmenorrhea using the proper media. This research was conducted to determine the effect of BISINDO’s educational video media on the level of knowledge of dysmenorrhea in young deaf women. The research was conducted using a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest–posttest design involving 30 young deaf women that experienced menstruation as a sample selected by a total sampling technique. Data were collected by questionnaire and then analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. This study indicates that BISINDO educational video has an effect on the level of knowledge of dysmenorrhea in young deaf women, proven by the p-value of the Wilcoxon test results was 0.004. Dismenorea merupakan salah satu gangguan yang di alami oleh perempuan ketika menstruasi, tak terkecuali remaja putri Tuli. Penanganan dismenorea perlu dilakukan agar gejalanya tidak semakin parah. Sayangnya, orang Tuli secara umum mengalami hambatan dalam penerimaan dan memahami informasi yang disampaikan secara lisan, sehingga pemberian informasi mengenai dismenorea perlu dilakukan menggunakan media yang tepat. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media video edukasi BISINDO terhadap tingkat pengetahuan dismenorea pada remaja putri Tuli. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis rancangan one group pretest – posttest yang melibatkan 30 remaja putri Tuli dan sudah menstruasi sebagai sampel yang dipilih dengan teknik total sampling. Data dikumpulkan dengan kuesioner dan kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon. Nilai p value dari hasil uji Wilcoxon sebesar 0,004, menunjukkan ada pengaruh penggunaan video edukasi BISINDO terhadap tingkat pengetahuan dismenorea pada remaja putri Tulibencana COVID-19.

Abstract

The accumulation of prostaglandins during menstruation results in uterine hypercontraction and pain. The prevalence of primary dysmenorrhea in Indonesia is around 54.89%. The impact of primary dysmenorrhea if not treated immediately is the disruption of learning activities. Fast food plays a role as a risk factor for primary dysmenorrhea. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between fast food consumption and primary dysmenorrhea in adolescent girls at SMK. This type of research is quantitative with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were 63 adolescent girls of SMK Koperasi Yogyakarta. The sample was determined by stratified random sampling technique with a total of 54 adolescent girls. Data collection was carried out in June 2024. The instruments used were FFQ questionnaire and dysmenorrhea questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using Spearman Rank statistical test. The results showed that the majority of fast food consumption was in the frequent category, namely 29 respondents (53.7%), the majority of dysmenorrhea was in the severe category, namely 28 respondents (51.9%). Statistical test results obtained p-value 0.001 (<0.05) with a very strong relationship (0.833). The direction of the correlation is positive, meaning that the more frequent the consumption of fast food, the more severe the dysmenorrhea experienced. There is a relationship between fast food and primary dysmenorrhea in adolescent girls. It is recommended that adolescent girls avoid consuming fast food and switch to healthy foods so as to reduce primary dysmenorrhea during menstruation

Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                                                     Usia prasekolah merupakan masa kritis pembentukan kebiasaan dan perilaku. Pada fase ini, anak активно mengeksplorasi lingkungan, seperti bermain, berbagi mainan, dan memasukkan tangan ke mulut, sehingga meningkatkan risiko paparan kuman penyebab infeksi. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan upaya pencegahan melalui perilaku cuci tangan. Edukasi menggunakan media audiovisual dan demonstrasi merupakan metode efektif untuk meningkatkan perilaku cuci tangan pada anak usia prasekolah. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah memberikan penyuluhan kesehatan dan membangun kebiasaan baik yaitu perilaku cuci tangan yang benar. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di TK Tunas Islam dengan responden siswa-siswi kelas B sejumlah 50 anak. Kegiatan pengadian ini terdiri dari tiga tahap yaitu tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan dan tahap evaluasi. Tahap persiapan meliputi koordinasi dengan pihak sekolah, pengkajian siswa-siswi, pengurusan surat, persiapan materi, media edukasi dan lokasi pelaksanaan kegiatan. Tahap pelaksanaan kegiatan yaitu melakukan edukasi tentang cuci tangan dengan menggunakan media power point dan video kemudian dilanjutkan dengan demonstrasi cuci tangan menggunakan sabun. Tahap ketiga adalah tahap evaluasi yaitu melakukan evaluasi kegiatan, dan menyusun laporan kegiatan. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah data demografi responden berdasarkan jenis kelamin yaitu sama antara laki-laki dan Perempuan (50%), sedangkan berdasarkan usia mayoritas berusia  6 tahun sebanyak  82%. Secara observasi, setelah dilakukan demonstrasi cuci tangan, antusiasme siswa meningkat dan mereka mampu meniru gerakan dengan tepat setelah demonstrasi. Terdapat peningkatan perilaku cuci tangan dengan benar pada saat siswa-siswi melakukan demonstrasi cuci tangan. Kesimpulan kegiatan ini adalah edukasi cuci tangan dengan menggunakan media audio visual dan demonstrasi efektif untuk meningkatkan perilaku cuci tangan yang benar pada anak usia prasekolah.Kata kunci: Cuci Tangan; Prasekolah; Demonstrasi; Health Education; Audiovisual. ABSTRACTPreschool age is a critical period for the formation of habits, values, and behavior. During this period, children are in a very active phase of exploration, touching various objects, playing in open environments, sharing toys, and unconsciously putting their hands in their mouths. All of these activities are part of a child's natural learning process, but at the same time increase the risk of exposure to germs that can cause infectious diseases. Therefore, efforts to prevent this need to be made, one of which is by washing hands. One effective method to improve hand washing behavior in preschoolers is through education using audiovisual media and demonstrations. The purpose of this activity is to provide health education and build good habits, namely proper hand washing behavior. This activity was carried out at Tunas Islam Kindergarten with 50 students from class B as respondents. his activity consisted of three stages, namely the preparation stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation stage. The preparation stage included coordination with the school, assessment of students, letter management, preparation of materials, educational media, and the location for the activity. The implementation stage involved educating students about hand washing using PowerPoint and video presentations, followed by a demonstration of hand washing with soap. The third stage was the evaluation stage, which involved evaluating the activity and compiling a report. The results of this community service activity are demographic data on respondents based on gender, which is equal between males and females (50%), while based on age, the majority are 6 years old, accounting for 82%. There was an increase in proper handwashing behavior when the students demonstrated handwashing. The conclusion of this activity is that handwashing education using audio-visual media and demonstrations is effective in improving proper handwashing behavior in preschool-aged children.Keywords: Handwashing; Kindergarten; Demonstration; Health Education; Audiovisual.
