Abstract

Background: Baby massage is a massage performed with smooth palpation on the surface of a baby's skin, which aims to produce effects on nerves, muscles, respiratory system and blood circulation and lymph. When doing a preliminary study in Trimurti Village of Srandakan sub District, Bantul District, many parents of babies still did not know the benefits of baby massage and did not understand how to apply the correct massage independently. Objektive: The aim of this research is to determine the effect of health education about baby massage on the maternal behavior to massage her baby in Trimurti Village of Srandakan, Bantul, Yogyakarta 2011. Method: This was a quasi experimental study with a one group pretest-posttest study design. The study site was in Trimurti Village of Srandakan Bantul, Yogyakarta done in 2011. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with 32 respondents. Data analysis technique used McNemar Test with standard error (?) 0.05. Results: Maternal behavior to baby massage at the time of pretest was in majority not suitable with the technique with a score < 65 in 32 respondents, while the maternal behavior to baby massage at the time of posttest was in majority suitable with the technique with a score > 65 in 32 respondents. It was proven with McNemar Test showing the p-value = 0.000 (p<0.05). Conclusion: Health education about baby massage can increase on the maternal behavior in Trimurti Village, Srandakan, Bantul, Yogyakarta 2011.Mothers should broaden their insights about baby massage to enhance maternal behavior in applying baby massage techniques correctly to increase the baby?s growth and development. Abstract

Background:Elderly period is a part of growth process. During this time,elderly will gradually experiencephysical, mental and social degeneration. Elderlywill alsoencounterseveral health problems including blood vessel disorders, metabolic disorders, joint disorders, and psycho-social disorders. The elderly welfare is assessed from their quality of life. Quality of life is used widely as anindication of the psychological welfare of elder age. Objective: To investigate the relationship between social support and quality of life of the elderly in the village of Cebogan, Sleman Methods: This study was quantitative descriptive research with cross sectional approach. The population in this study was the elderly in the village of Cebongan, Sleman, Yogyakarta. Sampleswere chosenwith random sampling. The data analysis used Pearson product moment. Results:Elderly in the village of Cebongan, Sleman, were mostly aged 60-70 years old, and male. Social support which was givenwasof average 3.87 (SD= 0.329). Quality of life of the elderly was of average values as follows; physical quality of 65.31, psychology quality of 62.47, social quality of 70.14, environmental quality of 65.48, and cumulative quality of 65.85 (SD= 11.531). The result of Pearson Product examination figured out p= 0,000<0,05 with correlative coefficient value of 0,616. Conclusion: There was a relationshipbetween social support and quality of life of the elderly in the village of Cebongan, Sleman, with closesignificance level. Abstract

Background: Someone in middle adulthood has begun to experience changes leading to an aging process, so they are vulnerable to degenerative diseases. Diabetes mellitus is a degenerative disease which is still being a health problem in Indonesia. Problems and complications in people with DM can be minimized if the patient has sufficient knowledge and ability to carry out self-care. One effort that can be done is to provide health education about self-care to optimize metabolic control, prevent acute and chronic complications, optimize quality of life and able to carry out self-care behavior independently. Objective: The study aimed to determine the effect of health education on self-care activities in type 2 diabetes mellitus in Puskesmas Pandak I. Methods: This was a quasi-experimental study with a one group pretest-posttest study design. The samples used were 26 respondents. Data analysis technique used paired t-test with a significance level of p <0,05. Results: There is a significant enhancement in self-care activities. Statistical analysis using paired t-test found there were significant differences in the value of self-care activities between pre and post-education among type 2 diabetes mellitus diabetes (p <0,005). Conclusion: Health education can improve self-care activities for people with type 2 diabetes mellitus in Puskesmas Pandak I. Keywords : Health education, self-care, diabetes mellitus

Abstract

Sepsis adalah disfungsi organ yang mengancam jiwa akibat disregulasi respon tubuh terhadap infeksi dan merupakan salah satu penyebab kematian utama di Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Penyebab utama tingginya mortalitas adalah keterlambatan penanganan sehingga pasien jatuh dalam kondisi syok septik. Dua komponen utama penanganan syok sepsis adalah resusitasi cairan dan pemberian vasopresor. Pemberian dini vasopresor bersamaan dengan pemberian cairan dapat menurunkan mortalitas pasien karena mengurangi volume resusitasi sehingga mencegah kelebihan cairan pada pasien. Rekomendasi terbaru dari Surviving Sepsis Campaign (SSC) menyarankan resusitasi cairan dan terapi medikamentosa dalam 1 jam pertama, yang mencakup pemberian vasopresor sedini mungkin pada kasus hipotensi yang mengancam nyawa, bersamaan atau segera setelah resusitasi cairan untuk mempertahankan level MAP ≥ 65mmHg. Penanganan yang holistik akan mengurangi mortalitas pasien syok sepsis di ICU. Tujuan dari penelitian ini Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah melakukan penanganan lebih awal pada pasien sepsis. Metode yang digunakan berdasarkan penurunan angka mortalitas atau keberhasilan dalam penanganan pasien syok sepsis yang diberikan Norepinephrine (NEP) di awal berhubungan dengan kecepatan tercapainya nilai Mean arterial pressure (MAP) dan clearance laktat. Dapat disimpulkan Pada sebagian besar pasien syok sepsis memerlukan pemberian dini vasopresor untuk stabilisasi hemodinamik, selain resusitasi cairan yang tepat. Pemberian obat vasopresor sangat penting dalam mencapai target resusitasi hemodinamik yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengantaran oksigen melalui peningkatan curah jantung, perfusi aliran darah organ vital dan tekanan perfusi organ.

Abstract

Hipertensi dikenal dengan silent killer karena merupakan penyakit yang menyebabkan kematian tanpa disadari. Kemenkes RI (2018) melalui Riskesdas melaporkan prevalensi hipertensi di Indonesia sebesar 34,11% pada usia penduduk >18 tahun. Persentase ini mengalami peningkatan dibandingkan tahun 2013 sebesar 25,8%. Riskesdas menyebutkan penyumbang kasus tertinggi terdapat di Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan sebesar 44.13%, sedangkan Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta menduduki peringkat ke 12 dengan jumlah prevalensi 32,86%. Berdasarkan Data Profil Kesehatan Provinsi Yogyakarta (2017) menyebutkan bahwa kasus hipertensi paling banyak terdapat di Kabupaten Sleman yaitu 12,10%. Dinkes Kabupaten Sleman (2020) melaporkan bahwa Kecamatan Kalasan merupakan penyumbang terbesar penderita hipertensi dibandingkan kecamatan lain. Hipertensi yang tidak dikelola dengan baik akan berlanjut pada penyakit kardio maupun vaskuler lainnya yang memberikan dampak pada kematian. Dibutuhkan pengendalian hipertensi melalui partisipasi aktif masyarakat atau pemberdayaan kader kesehatan. Pemberdayaan ini dilakukan dalam Upaya Kesehatan Bersumberdaya Masyarakat (UKBM) Posyandu Remaja Parikesit. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk melatih kader remaja agar mempunyai pengetahuan dan keterampilan tentang hipertensi. Kegiatan pemberdayaan ini dilakukan dengan memberikan edukasi tentang hipertensi kepada kader remaja atau dikenal dengan parikesit, melatih kader menggunakan spigmometer digital agar dapat mengukur tekanan darah, dan mengajarkan cara mengisi buku raport hipertensi. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini terdiri dari diskusi interaktif dan demonstrasi. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi pelatihan kader didapatkan data tidak ada satupun kader remaja dengan hasil pengetahuan setelah edukasi lebih rendah daripada sebelum edukasi (0%), 3 kader remaja berpengetahuan sama/ tetap (17,7%), dan 14 kader remaja mempunyai pengetahuan yang lebih baik dari sebelum edukasi hipertensi (82,3%). Nilai p menunjukkan 0,001 yang berarti pelatihan kader remaja memiliki pengaruh terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan tentang hipertensi. Selain itu keterampilan kader remaja mengalami peningkatan setelah diberikan pelatihan sebesar 70,5% dengan nilai p 0,000.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Demam berdarah dengue (DBD) merupakan salah satu masalah utama kesehatan masyarakat yang ada di Indonesia dan Dunia. DBD dapat terjadi di daeah tropis dan sub-tropis di seluruh dunia, terutama di daerah perkotaan dan semi perkotaan. Jumlah kasus dan penyebarannya semakin meningkat dengan peningkatan mobilitas dan kepadatan penduduk. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui perilaku masayarakat dalam memberantas jentik vector demam berdarah dengue di Kabupaten Gunungkidul. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survei deskriptif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah keluarga dengan 377 responden yang diambil menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Teknik analisa data menggunakan analisa univariat. Hasil: Karakteristik responden sebagian besar berjenis kelamin perempuan, rentang usia 41-50 tahun, memiliki pekerjaan sebagai petani, berpendidikan SMP/sederajat dan tidak memiliki anggota keluarga yang menderita DBD. Perilaku masyarakat dalam pemberantasan jentik kategori jentik sebanyak 202 responden (56,4%) dan kategori jentik sebanyak 175 responden (44,6%). Kesimpulan: Perilaku masyarakat di Gunungkidul dalam pemberantasan bebas jentik nyamuk masih rendah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) untuk mengetahui akhlak siswa di SDIT Harapan Umat Karawang. (2) untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan program Bina Pribadi Islami  (BPI) dalam menginternalisasi pendidikan akhlak  di SDIT Harapan Umat Karawang. (3) untuk mengetahui hasil kajian Islam Bina Pribadi Islami (BPI) dalam menginternalisasi nilai pendidikan islam di SDIT Harapan Umat Karawang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membentuk akhlak peserta didik, pelaksanaan BPI untuk mengetahui hasil Pengembangan Pribadi Islami dalam membina akhlak peserta didik di SDIT Harapan Umat Karawang . Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer yang diperoleh langsung dari responden mengenai penerapan Islam Pengembangan pribadi. Sedangkan data sekunder berupa teori dan data pendukung lainnya diperoleh dari literatur dan sekolah dokumentasi arsip. Semua data tersebut merupakan bahan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan Pengembangan Bina Pribadi Islami (BPI) di SDIT Harapan Umat Karawang. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: Pembinaan  Bina Pribadi Islami dalam Pembinaan akhlak peserta didik di SDIT Harapan Umat Karawang, yaitu melalui pembinaan yang meliputi pembinaan dengan keteladanan, bimbingan dengan pembiasaan dan bimbingan dengan nasehat (3) Hasil dari Pembinaan Pribadi Islami (BPI) dalam membina akhlak peserta didik di SDIT Harapan Umat Karawang cukup baik, dimana siswa telah mampu menunjukkan perilaku sesuai dengan yang ada indikatornya, antara lain mampu melaksanakan shalat berjamaah dan doa, shalat sunnah dhuha dan almatsurat pagi petang, membaca dzikir setiap selesai shalat dan seterusnya.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to help partners, namely teachers of SD Negeri 13 Rantau Alai, Ogan Ilir Regency, to increase their understanding and skills in preparing teaching modules for the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum. The service implementation method used is in the form of educational training which was held on February 6-18, 2023 through four stages, namely: planning, implementation, evaluation, and reporting. This activity has been successfully carried out in accordance with the predetermined achievement targets. Based on the results of the measurements that have been taken, it is known that the average prestest score is 76 and the average post-test score is 92. The results of the pretest and post-test, as well as the practical performance of the training participants, showed significant results in increasing participants' understanding and skills in preparing the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum teaching module. The evaluation of the activity shows that the success of this activity is supported by the maximum contribution of the partners in providing facilities during the event and the enthusiasm of the participants in participating in the training. However, there are several obstacles such as time constraints and remote partner locations in areas with poor internet signals.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of implementing Islamic Religious Education (PAI) on students' character development. Islamic Religious Education plays an important role in shaping the morals and ethics of individuals within the Muslim community. The objective of this research is to identify the effects of applying Islamic religious education on children's character formation. The focus of the study is to gain a deeper understanding of how Islamic religious education influences children's character development. The research methodology uses a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) to identify, evaluate, and interpret findings related to the research topic. The research results show that PAI education has a significant impact on students' character formation, as reflected in a strong understanding of morals and the application of Islamic values in daily life. Additionally, PAI education contributes to increased religious knowledge and the development of practical skills among students. Thus, PAI education not only provides a theoretical understanding of Islam but also shapes students into responsible and virtuous individuals. Although there are other external factors that influence moral development, PAI education remains a fundamental foundation in character education in schools.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the forms and values of multicultural education in Islamic religious education learning at SMP IT Al-Miftah, Karawang Regency and to find out the Implementation of Multicultural Education in Islamic religious education learning at SMP IT Al-Miftah, Karawang Regency. This study uses qualitative data. Research data obtained by observation, interviews, and documentation. The analysis technique uses inductive and deductive methods. The results showed that teachers of SMP IT Al-Miftah, Karawang Regency had implemented multicultural education in Islamic education materials. The application is through adding themes or incorporating multicultural values in Islamic religious education material that already exists at SMP IT Al-Miftah, Karawang Regency. And the teaching is done in a thorough and in-depth way. Thus, multicultural education in Islamic religious education material is very important to apply. This is to anticipate the reality of pluralism that exists in society. Where the application of values in Islamic religious education material is carried out in order to help create peace or tolerance in the midst of the plurality of society itself.
