Abstract

In the industrial era 4.0 was a new chapter in the 21st century. This period was marked by openness and freedom in various fields of life. In the industrial era 4.0 is a century full of hope, laden with positive opportunities that can be exploited for a variety of human life, also laden with negative challenges because there has been a shift in values (social deviations) which at some level transformed into a form of crime. Crimes which is endemic in developing countries like Indonesia is certainly not the same as in developed countries. In addition, the potential for crime is caused by stretching industry 4.0. Thus, the need for special therapy / fomula to minimize the crime that will occur in the future.

Abstract

The reform of Indonesia's criminal procedure law, as outlined in the Draft Criminal Procedure Code (RKUHAP), is set to take effect in January 2026 and has sparked mixed reactions among academics, legal practitioners, and civil society. This discussion was held as a moral calling and a form of academic protest against several articles in the RKUHAP that are perceived as granting excessive power to law enforcement authorities. The primary objective of this activity was to provide a more comprehensive understanding to students and student organizations from Universitas Negeri Makassar and Universitas Hasanuddin about the dynamics of criminal law reform in Indonesia, both from theoretical perspectives and practical experiences. The method employed was an open forum, consisting of two main sessions: one featuring conceptual insights delivered by academic lecturers, and the other analyzing real-life legal cases presented by representatives from the Legal Aid Institute (LBH) Makassar. The event took place in the courtyard of the BU Building at Universitas Negeri Makassar, with active participation from students across different faculties and organizations. The outcome showed that participants gained a deeper and more complete understanding of how complex the criminal procedure reform really is. They could see both the potential for stronger human rights protection on one hand, and the risks of backsliding on due process principles on the other. Overall, this event made a significant contribution to shaping critical legal awareness among students as agents of change and to encouraging more youth involvement in advocating for legal reform in Indonesia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur dan menelaah keterlaksanaan pengembangan keterampilan sosial peserta didik dalam pembelajaran IPS di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta, khususnya pada dimensi kerja sama. Pendekatan yang digunakan, yaitu kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian survei. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan April hingga Juni 2025 di sekolah menengah pertama yang berlokasi di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Pengambilan data dilakukan pada 277 responden melalui kuesioner. Adapun responden merupakan guru IPS yang dipilih secara proposional random sampling. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterlaksanaan pengembangan keterampilan kerja sama dalam pembelajaran IPS di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta berada pada kategori “Sedang”, yaitu sebanyak 48,74% guru dari keseluruhan sampel yang mewakili populasi. Adapun metode pengembangan keterampilan kerja sama yang diimplementasikan meliputi pembelajaran kooperatif, pembelajaran interaksi sosial, penerapan metode permainan tradisional, penggunaan bahan ajar berbasis karakter serta pembelajaran problem posing. Di mana sebagian besar guru IPS di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta mengembangkan keterampilan kerja sama dengan menerapkan bahan ajar berbasis karakter, yaitu sebesar 67,5% guru dengan kategori kecenderungan “Sedang”. Dengan demikian, pengembangan keterampilan kerja sama dalam pembelajaran IPS di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta perlu ditingkatkan setidaknya sampai pada kategori “Tinggi” agar sejalan dengan tujuan Pendidikan IPS, yaitu mengembangkan keterampilan sosial. Apabila pengembangan keterampilan sosial melalui pembelajaran IPS terlaksana dalam kategori tinggi, hal tersebut menandakan bahwa salah satu tujuan IPS telah tercapai dengan baik.
