Abstract

The Community Service Program (KKN) in Cibuntu Sub-district, Bandung Kulon District, Bandung City, wascarried out as a form of student dedication to the community, with a focus on environmental issues, particularlyorganic waste management. Two flagship programs were introduced:“From Waste to Blessings: The Story ofCibuntu’s Maggots”and “Green Shell.” The first program was presented in the form of a documentary film thateducates the public about maggot cultivation as an eco-friendly solution for breaking down organic waste. The aim isto raise public awareness of alternative waste processing methods and to shape a positive image of Cibuntu as apioneer in environmental innovation. Meanwhile, Green Shell focuses on utilizing organic waste to produce compostfertilizer through planting activities, public outreach, and assistance in managing green spaces at the neighborhood(RW) level. Both programs involve active community participation as a form of empowerment and aim to encouragethe development of a sustainable, community-based waste management ecosystem. The outcomes of these activitiesshow increased public understanding and engagement in environmental issues, as well as the emergence ofopportunities to develop local innovations based on regional potential. Thus, this KKN initiative is expected to serve asa model for collaboration between academia and the community in achieving sustainable development at the sub-district level.

Abstract

Attendance is an important factor in achieving educational success, the reality in the field shows that there are still students who do not attend school so that the learning program cannot be implemented comprehensively. This study aims to find out whether there is an influence of parental punishment on the level of student attendance at MIS Alkhairaat Pombewe. The method used is a quantitative approach with a causal associative method. The population of this study is all students totaling 88 people with a sample of 31 people by applying the purposive sampling technique. Data collected through questionnaires or questionnaires with 18 statement items. The results showed that there was no significant influence between parental punishment on the level of student attendance at MIS Alkhairaat Pombewe. The hypothesis was tested through simple linear regression analysis which resulted in the equation Y=35.887 (α)+0.093 (X) and the determination coefficient (R2)=0.013. The hypothesis test with the t-test showed tcount (0.619) < ttable (1.699) with a significance level of 0.541>0.05 so that H0 was accepted and H1 was rejected.

Abstract

This study was conducted to design and develop an automated counting system for Chinning Up and Pull Up exercises based on the Internet of Things, aimed at improving the accuracy and efficiency of physical fitness assessment. The proposed system integrates a SHARP GP2Y0A21 infrared sensor to detect movement repetitions and an electromyography sensor to measure biceps and triceps activity. All captured data are processed by an ESP32 microcontroller and transmitted directly to Firebase Realtime Database, then displayed through a web interface developed using Laravel. The system supports three user roles—admin, supervisor, and athlete—each responsible for account management, training monitoring, and access to performance records. Testing procedures were carried out using Blackbox Testing and User Acceptance Test to evaluate measurement accuracy and usability. The results indicate that the system can identify repetitions with an accuracy of 96.8% and measure muscle activity with an accuracy of 94.5%. Training data are presented in real time and stored as monitoring records. Based on these findings, the system is considered effective in providing an objective, measurable, and integrated evaluation mechanism for exercise performance
