Abstract

This study aims to describe the management of quality improvement in educational facilities and infrastructure at UPTD SDN 232 Tellesang in Pitumpanua District. The study employs a descriptive qualitative approach using purposive sampling. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed using an interactive model involving data reduction, data presentation, and the drawing of conclusions and verification. The results of the study indicate that the management of facilities and infrastructure has been carried out systematically through the identification of needs, clear division of tasks, procurement and utilization of educational facilities, as well as regular monitoring and evaluation. This management has a positive impact on the effectiveness of learning and the improvement of educational quality. Supporting factors include the leadership of the school principal, cooperation among school community members, and support from the committee and the community, while inhibiting factors include budget constraints, technological needs, and facility maintenance costs.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of classroom management in improving student academic achievement at UPTD SDN 184 Batu, Pitumpanua Subdistrict, Wajo Regency. The study employed a qualitative descriptive approach using field research. The research informants consisted of the school principal, classroom teachers, and parents, who were selected based on their involvement in the learning process. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that classroom management has been implemented through the functions of planning, organizing, leading, controlling, and evaluating. The application of these functions was able to create a conducive learning environment and improve student discipline, participation, motivation, and academic achievement. Supporting factors included teacher competence, support from the school principal, and parental cooperation, while inhibiting factors included differences in student personalities, low discipline among some students, and limited learning resources.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of learning management in improving student academic achievement at UPTD SDN 399 Siwa and to identify its supporting and inhibiting factors. The study employs a qualitative approach using field research. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis utilized the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of learning management has been carried out through the stages of planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating learning, which have proceeded quite well and contributed to the improvement of student academic achievement. The main supporting factors include the principal’s participatory leadership, teacher commitment, and a strong culture of cooperation. The inhibiting factors include limited facilities and infrastructure, teachers’ administrative workload, and differences in student abilities. Therefore, enhancing teachers’ competencies and providing adequate learning facilities are necessary to optimize student academic achievement.
