Abstract

Early marriage remains a social issue that adversely affects adolescents' health, educational attainment, and economic well-being. Limited awareness of its consequences highlights the need for preventive educational interventions through community outreach programs. This community service activity aimed to improve adolescents' knowledge and awareness of the impacts of early marriage from health, educational, and economic perspectives. The program employed a participatory educational approach through lectures, presentations, interactive discussions, and question-and-answer sessions. The results indicated that participants actively engaged in the activities and demonstrated improved understanding of the risks of early marriage, particularly regarding reproductive health, educational continuity, family economic preparedness, and the importance of physical, psychological, and social maturity before entering married life. The findings suggest that educational socialization is an effective strategy for enhancing adolescents' literacy on early marriage prevention. Therefore, similar programs should be implemented continuously through collaboration among schools, families, higher education institutions, government agencies, and the wider community.
