Education plays an important role in developing students’ communication skills, enabling them to express ideas and interact effectively in the learning process. This study aims to determine the effect of the cooperative learning model of the Think Pair Share (TPS) type on students' learning outcomes in Indonesian language subject for fourth-grade students at UPT SDN 060914 Medan Sunggal in the 2026/2027 Academic Year. This study employed a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest-posttest research design. The subjects of the study were all fourth-grade students, consisting of 29 students. Data were collected through tests in the form of pretest and posttest, as well as a student response questionnaire regarding the implementation of the Think Pair Share learning model. The data were analyzed using a correlation coefficient test and hypothesis testing through a Paired Samples t-Test with the assistance of Microsoft Excel and SPSS version 22. The results showed that the students' average pretest score was 51.72, while the average posttest score increased to 82.24, indicating an improvement of 30.52 points. Students' responses to the implementation of the TPS model were also positive, with an average questionnaire score of 83.03. The hypothesis test resulted in a t_count of 8.561, while the t_table was 1.701 at a 5% significance level with df = 28. Since t_count > t_table (8.561 > 1.701) and the Sig. (2-tailed) value was 0.000 < 0.05, H₀ was rejected and Hₐ was accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of the Think Pair Share cooperative learning model on the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at UPT SDN 060914 Medan Sunggal.
