The phenomenon of burnout or work exhaustion is one of the problems that often occurs in organizational environments due to increasing work demands, organizational pressure, and lack of social support. Burnout can affect the physical, emotional, and mental conditions of organizational members, resulting in decreased productivity, work motivation, and organizational effectiveness. This study aims to understand the phenomenon of burnout in organizational members in the study of organizational behavior, including the causes, impacts, and efforts to overcome it. The study used a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation studies from various journals, books, and relevant previous research. The results showed that burnout is influenced by several factors, such as excessive workload, lack of organizational support, role conflict, and an unhealthy work environment. Burnout has negative impacts on both individuals and organizations, such as decreased work motivation, low organizational commitment, increased work stress, and the emergence of turnover intention. Therefore, organizations need to create a healthy work environment through workload management, increased organizational support, open communication, and providing stress management training to maintain the psychological well-being of organizational members
