Abstract

The purpose of writing articles is to discuss prophetic leadership, prophetic leadership values and internalization in Islamic educational institutions. Prophetic leadership is a leadership paradigm that refers to the concept of leadership of the Prophets. In contrast to conventional leadership theories whose ultimate goal is worldly pursuit, prophetic leadership is leadership in Islam that seeks to restore human nature as khalīfah and ‘abdu-llāh. The idea of prophetic leadership is intended so that Muslims as the best people can realize the three ideals that become prophetic leadership values, namely humanization, liberation, and transcendence. The capitalist paradigm has trapped the subjects of Islamic educational institutions in materialist goals. Therefore, the process of internalizing prophetic leadership becomes a necessity in the effort to make Islamic educational institutions free from non-ethical behavior. These prophetic leadership values can be internalized either through the learning activities of a subject or subject or through managerial activities within an Islamic educational institution. Internalization requires a common paradigm by leaders, staff, and teachers. It takes an exemplary leader who has theological paradigm so that the process of internalizing prophetic leadership values can really be realized.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of Merdeka Belajar (Independent Learning) of Arabic in universities and analyze the humanistic review of the performance of Merdeka Belajar (Independent Learning) of Arabic in Islamic universities in Indonesia. The research method used is a qualitative approach with the type of multicluster study research by comparing the implementation patterns of Merdeka Belajar (Independent Learning) in Indonesia. Data were collected using interview techniques, observations, and documentation studies on implementing Merdeka Belajar (Independent Learning) in Islamic universities. The data analysis technique used in this study uses data reduction, display, verification, and conclusion. The results of this study show that the implementation of Merdeka Belajar (Independent Learning) of Arabic in Islamic universities is realized in the form of student exchanges, the implementation of internship programs in various agencies that have strengthened the experience of prospective graduates, and the realization of humanistic aspects in the implementation of independent learning of Arabic at Islamic universities in, both from educational-cultural, philosophical, and intellectual aspects.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship education has a very vital role. Spiritual-based entrepreneurship education needs to be applied in Islamic education. Sunnah as one of the main sources in Islam becomes the benchmark of Islamic education output. Prophetic character becomes an important point in Spritual-based entrepreneurship education. This study aims to examine endeavor to strengthen prophetic character in entrepreneurship education and the values instilled. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation in two Pesatren involving 2 institutional leaders, 3 teachers and 4 students as source triangulation. This study shows endeavor to strengthen character include: setting vision, mission and output results oriented to mastery of the Qur'an; entrepreneurial practices that following the prophet and become economic self-reliance; Teachers provide guidance and can be a good role model of students positive character development; The material learning integrated a deepening of religious knowledge or mastery of the Qur'an, entrepreneurship and technology; learning methods develop group discussions, project based-learning and experimental, and problem solving; and periodically evaluation. While the values of prophetic character that are instilled are: Shidiq, Amanah, Tabligh, and Fathonah.

Abstract

The development of management science that has spawned various approaches, bringing implications for the development of Islamic Education management science. In a high era of current competition, educational institutions require management theories that can be practiced to create an institution that can endure in the long term. The purpose of article is to discuss approaches that develop in the science of management, including: operational, behavioral, system and quantitative, as well as its implications for the development of Islamic Education management and practices. The results showed that the operational approach, has come to the awareness of quality, which implicates the adoption of the concept of Total Quality Management. The behavior approach, has spawned human consciousness as the main resource, which implicates the development of human resources management concept of Islamic education institutions. The system approach, has given rise to awareness of the environment, which implicates the emergence of the concept of educational institutions as a social system that includes inputs, processes and outputs. And the quantitative approach spawned a management view as a measurable logical entity, thereby implicates the efforts to increase efficiency in Islamic education management areas.

Abstract

The goals of Islamic basic education must not misdirected, so management skills are needed that are based on an understanding of Islamic education management science. The aim of the research is to examine the basic concepts of Islamic basic education management and the foundations that become the fulcrum in management. It is hoped that the results of the study can serve as a guide for administrators of Islamic basic education. The role of Islamic basic education is very strategic because it is the level that forms the basis for further education. In order to build a strong Islamic basic education management concept, an understanding of a number of foundations is needed which is the foundation in the practice of managing Islamic basic education institutions. Through literature studies, the results of the study provide guidance for managers of Islamic basic education institutions in terms of basic Islamic education management, including: philosophical basis, religious basis, sociological-anthropological basis, psychological basis and juridical basis.

Abstract

Bullying, both physical and psychological, has a significant impact on the development of both victims and also perpetrators. This issue is often found not only in formal educational institutions but also in non-formal education settings such as Al-Qur'an Education Center. and Supplementary Islamic School. This community service activity aims to raise awareness among students, teachers, and parents about the importance of preventing bullying through educational seminars, role-playing activities, and interactive discussions. Using Participatory Action Research (PAR) is a participatory research approach that involves the surrounding community at TPQ (Taman Pendidikan Qur’an) and Madrasah Diniyah (Madin) Al Falah Pasuruan, as well as the teachers as active subjects, not merely research objects. This program involves 200 students from TPQ and Madin Al-Falah, as well as the active participation of 25 teachers to develop joint strategies in building the character of students with noble morals through education on preventing bullying actions. The outcomes of this program include increased understanding of bullying, the creation of an anti-bullying code of ethics, and greater community participation in bullying prevention.

Abstract

This study examines the recruitment, selection, and professional development processes of teachers aimed at enhancing student achievement. A qualitative case study approach was conducted at SMPIT YABIS, an Islamic educational institution. Data were collected through observations and interviews with five informants. The findings reveal that teacher recruitment prioritizes internal recommendations, which enhances efficiency and alignment with institutional needs. The selection process involves administrative screening, written tests, and practical teaching evaluations, emphasizing both academic competence and religious knowledge. Professional development includes structured training, support for further education, participation in professional forums (MGMP), and reward programs. Financial incentives are provided to long-serving teachers and those who successfully mentor high-achieving students, fostering motivation and commitment. These findings contribute theoretically to the discourse on human resource management in Islamic education, particularly in integrating academic and religious competencies into staffing strategies. Practically, the dual approach offers a replicable model for similar institutions, blending academic excellence with character building within faith-based education frameworks. This study underscores the critical role of motivated and well-supported teachers in achieving institutional goals and advancing student success, providing actionable insights for administrators and policymakers.

Abstract

Mahasiswa Malang Raya yang merepresentasikan generasi Z pada hakikatnya memiliki potensi untuk mengabaikan nilai pendidikan akhlak sehingga tercermin dalam perilakunya sehari-hari. Pendidikan akhlak menekankan pada proses adaptasi pada penguatas proses pembelajaran yang melibatkan peran pendidik dalam mengontrol orientasi mahasiswa dalam perhatiannya pada penggunaan gadget secara masif dan cenderung pada acuh tak acuh terhadap pendidikan akhlak. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur internalisasi nilai pendidikan akhlak bagi mahasiswa generasi Z di Malang Raya. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian survey. Data yang dihimpun adalah berupa respon atau keterangan dari 202 mahasiswa di 4 PTKI di Malang Raya. Adapun hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil uji normalitas kol-Smirnov sebesar 1.005 dengan signifikansi sebesar 0.264 yang mana rata-rata nilai internalisasi mahasiswa sebesar 76.23 yang dapat dikategorikan cukup baik dalam menjalankan nilai pendidikan akhlak pada pola interaksi kehidupan sehari-hari. Dengan demikian, pola interaksi antar mahasiswa generasi Z seharusnya mampu menghadirkan perilaku dan interaksi yang baik.
