Abstract

Objective: This research aims to develop a valid and practical Management Information System (E-Admin), analyze service time efficiency improvements, and measure its contribution to enhancing administrative service quality at SD Negeri 2 Metro Utara to overcome performance gaps caused by conventional administration inefficiencies. Methods: The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Subjects included material and media expert validators, and 18 respondents consisting of teachers and administrative staff. Data were collected through time observations and questionnaires, then analyzed using quantitative descriptive statistics, Paired Sample T-Test, and simple linear regression. Results: The E-Admin prototype achieved a technical validity of 86.6% (media expert) and 76.0% (material expert), with an 82.22% practicality rate. System implementation provided a highly significant improvement in time efficiency for completing administrative workloads (p < 0.001). Service quality improved to the Very Good category (83.78%), and empirical observations proved the system successfully closed school governance performance gaps. Novelty: The novelty of this research lies in the specific integration of the E-Admin system to cut bureaucracy and solve student data desynchronization, attendance recapitulation, and correspondence issues at the primary school level, empirically proven to overcome the ceiling effect phenomenon in administrative performance evaluation.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to describe the conditions, empirically analyze the effect of teacher problems on work overload, and formulate strategic policy recommendations for educators at Elementary Schools in East Lampung Regency. Methods: The research employed a descriptive quantitative survey with a causal associative approach. A total of 96 teachers were involved as the sample, selected through the Multi-Stage Proportional Stratified Random Sampling technique. Data were collected using a validated Likert scale questionnaire and subsequently analyzed using simple linear regression assisted by JASP software. Results: The level of teacher problems and work overload were generally in the moderate category. Regression analysis found a positive and highly significant effect of teacher problems on work overload with p < 0.001 and a t-count of 8.835. Teacher problems contributed 45.4% to work exhaustion. Overlapping administrative roles, such as serving as a treasurer or school operator, were proven to directly trigger work overload. Novelty: This study provides a theoretical modification to the Job Demands-Resources (JD-R) Model within regional primary schools, revealing that the primary trigger of work overload has shifted from pedagogical interactions to purely bureaucratic pressures and reporting routines due to the absence of specialized administrative staff.

Abstract

Objective: This research analyzes the principal's role and digital leadership in increasing technology use at SDN 11 Rawajitu Utara to achieve effective digital transformation in elementary schools. It aims to evaluate managerial interventions and teachers' technology utilization levels. Methods: A descriptive qualitative approach was employed to obtain authentic field data. Data collection utilized participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, involving the principal and teachers as subjects. Data analysis applied the interactive model of Miles and Huberman. Results: The principal has functioned as a manager by providing adequate digital infrastructure, including 15 laptops, 2 LCD projectors, internet access, and a Smart TV. However, technology utilization remains suboptimal and is dominated by conventional methods due to ICT literacy gaps. Digital transformation requires the principal to act not only as a facilitator, but also as a consistent supervisor. Novelty: This research proposes a specific digital leadership model through the integration of active role-modeling, intensive training, and continuous academic supervision as a concrete solution to overcome literacy gaps and pedagogical constraints among educators in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of teachers’ professional competence in improving literacy and numeracy skills reflected in the Education Report Card and to identify obstacles and solutions in the Radin Intan Elementary School Cluster, Putra Rumbia District. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach involving four elementary schools. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data validity was established through source, technique, and time triangulation. The findings show that teachers’ professional competence supports literacy through subject mastery, reading habituation, appropriate learning methods and media, assessment, and follow-up activities. In numeracy, this role is demonstrated through conceptual mastery, contextual learning, learning media and resources, assessment, remedial activities, and enrichment. Obstacles include limited time, facilities, learning resources, technology, internet access, and professional development opportunities. Solutions include teacher working groups, learning communities, training, sharing good practices, and improving facilities. Better professional competence supported by adequate facilities tends to correspond with better literacy and numeracy achievement.
