Abstract

Through e-learning students are encouraged to learn from their homes individually and not in groups as in traditional learning where there are classes and study groups. This gives students the opportunity to organize their time according to their preferences as they attend individual online courses in their homes. They also have the freedom to choose the online courses that they find useful for them and their needs. This study aims to explore and examine the factors that influence the behavioral intention of students to use e-learning. The relationship between TAM variables and Innovation Diffusion Theory is integrated and explored to answer this goal. This research was conducted on 238 students of Muhammadiyah Metro University as active e-learning users. The findings show that of the 13 hypotheses developed, there are 4 that were rejected. It was found that there was no effect between Relative Advantage and Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Compatibility on Perceived Usefulness, Relative Advantage on Perceived Easy of Use, and between Perceived Easy of Use and Perceived Usefulness.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate: (1) the Influence of leaderships style toward Teachers’ Work Motivation at Junior High Schools in Bandar Sribhawono Distric, East Lampung Regency, (2) the Influence of work environment toward Teachers’ Work Motivation at Junior High Schools in Bandar Sribhawono Distric, East Lampung Regency, and (3) the influence of leaderships style and work environment toward teachers’ work motivation at Junior High Schools in Bandar SribhawonoDistric, East Lampung Regency. This was a quantitative study. The research population comprised teachers at Junior High Schools in Bandar Sribhawono Distric, East Lampung Regency. The sample consisted of 35 respondents from 9 Junior High Schools in Bandar SribhawonoDistric, East Lampung Regency. The research instruments were a questionnaire, observation, and interview. The data analysis technique in the study was multiple regression analysis. The results of the study are as follows. (1) There is a significant and positive influence of leadership style toward teachers’ work motivation. It can be seen from the result of TCount is 1,689 greater that Ttabel is 1,689 and the significant value was 0,000 at the significant level of 5% (0,05). So it can be said that 0,000<0,05. The influence value of leadership style toward teachers’ work motivation is 43.2%. (2)There is a significant and positive influence of work environment toward teachers’ work motivation. It can be seen from the result of TCount is 7,812 greater that Ttabel is 1,689 and the significant value was 0,000 at the significant level of 5% (0,05). So it can be said that 0,000<0,05. The influence value of work environment toward teachers’ work motivation is 39,0%. (3) There is a significant and positive influence of leadership style and work environment toward teachers’ work motivation. It can be seen from the result of FCount is 31,112 greater that Ttabel is 2,247 and the significant value was 0,000 at the significant level of 5% (0,05). So it can be said that 0,000<0,05. The influence value of leadership style and work environment toward teachers’ work motivation is 66,0%.

Abstract

The research population of 140 teachers using the Slovin formula , obtained a large sample of 58 teachers, while the steps for determining the sample were chosen randomly. Data collection in this study used a closed-type questionnaire instrument, namely by setting alternative answers for each statement item with the weight of the alternative sample answer scores determined by the researcher. The results of the analysis obtained in this study are as follows: (1) There is a positive influence between work motivation on teacher performance, this is explained by the regression equation = 66.586 + 0.084 X 1 so that it can be interpreted that any change in the score of the work motivation variable will result in an increase in teacher performance scores of 49.1%, (2) There is a positive influence between perceptions of principal leadership on teacher performance, this is explained by the regression equation = 56.507 + 0.413 X 2 so that it can be interpreted that any change in the score of the perception variable about leadership principals will result in an increase in teacher performance scores by 22.3%, and (3) There is a positive influence between work motivation and perceptions of principal leadership together on teacher performance, this is explained by the regression equation = 71.365 + 0.408 X 1 + 0.329 X 2 so that it can be indicated that the better work motivation and perception of Regarding the leadership of the principal, the better the contribution to the improvement of teacher performance with a significance value of 33.4%.

Abstract

The low work discipline of teachers is influenced by the managerial effectiveness of the principal which is not maximally applied and the organizational culture that is less conducive, warranting a need for a better managerial ability of school principals and a more conducive organizational culture. This study aims to determine (1) the effect of the principal managerial skills on teacher work discipline, (2) the influence of organizational culture on teacher work discipline, and (3) the effects of principal managerial skills and organizational culture together on the work discipline of teachers in Way Kanan District Vocational High Schools, Lampung Province. A quantitative approach was used in this study to measure three variables, namely the management skills of the school principal (X 1), organizational culture (X 2), and teacher work discipline (Y). The population of this study was 374 teachers in SMKN Way Kanan district with 93 teachers as the research sample determined using the Slovin formula. The instrument used was a questionnaire that had been previously tested for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed using Regression Analysis. Based on the analysis, the following results were obtained: 1) Principal managerial influence explained 73.3% of teacher work discipline and the remaining 26.3% was other influences, 2) Organizational culture contributed 80.5% to teacher work discipline and another 19.5% was other influences, and 3) Principal managerial skills and organizational culture together contributed 84.7% to teacher work discipline and the remaining 15.3% was other influences. The conclusion is that the work discipline of SMKN teachers in the Way Kanan district will increase when good managerial skills of school principals and conducive organizational culture are applied.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis manajemen pendidikan berbasis pembelajaran inspiratif dan bermakna di era teknologi digital. Dimana pendidikan yang bermakna nantinya bisa memberikan inspirasi bagi peserta didik dalam dunia pendidikan di era serba digital, guna membangun suatu iklim pembelajaran yang menyenangkan, menginspirasi, bermakna serta terlaksana dengan efektif dan efiseien. Untuk mewujudkan tujuan penelitian diatas, maka peneliti memilih jenis penelitian studi pustaka dengan pendekatan filosofis atau analisis konten dengan mengumpulkan literatur terkait, baik buku, artikel dan literasi relevan lainnya sebagai sumber data. Adapun hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa dalam menjadikan iklim pembelajaran yang bersifat bermakna dan inspiratif di era digital ini, maka aspek yang paling dasar yang wajib dipahami oleh para pendidik ialah bagaimana para pendidik bisa mendorong serta menarik minat untuk menyukai serta senang terhadap kegiatan pembelajaran serta materi yang disampaikan. Untuk mewujudkan hal itu, proses pendidikan mesti dimanajerial dengan baik yaitu melalui substansi manajerial terkait inovasi pada model pembelajaran era digital, menguasai konten knowledge dan teknologi knowledge serta menjalankan evaluasi serta inovasi dalam pembelajaran dengan bantuan media digital.

Abstract

This article focuses on the role of school principals and committees in implementing school-based management. This quantitative research uses an ex post facto approach. The population in this study were teachers at Muhammadiyah Vocational Schools throughout Metro City, totaling 70 teachers as the sample. Findings in this article The study results show a positive influence between the Leadership of the school principal and the school committee's role in implementing school-based management in Muhammadiyah Vocational Schools in Metro Lampung City, which is equal to 33.9 %. This is based on the calculation of the regression equation, which illustrates that the simultaneous increase in the school principal's leadership score and the school committee role score tends to be followed by an increase in the school-based management implementation score so that quantitatively if the two independent variables are linked together to the dependent variable, then the principal's Leadership contributes 0.4 84. The role of the school committee contributes 0.212 to the implementation of school-based management in a positive direction with a constant of 2 9.408.

Abstract

Pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi Mendeley secara online merupakan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa, guru, dan dosen dalam mengoptimalkan penggunaan aplikasi Mendeley untuk penyusunan daftar pustaka karya ilmiah. Pelatihan dilakukan secara daring menggunakan aplikasi Zoom pada tanggal 22 Maret 2023 dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 32 orang. Dalam era digital yang terus berkembang, penyusunan daftar pustaka merupakan bagian penting dalam penulisan karya ilmiah. Namun, masih banyak kalangan akademik yang belum sepenuhnya memahami dan mampu mengoptimalkan penggunaan aplikasi Mendeley. Hal ini dapat menyebabkan kesulitan dalam mengorganisir referensi dan menyusun daftar pustaka yang sesuai dengan format yang berlaku. Melalui pelatihan ini, peserta diberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam mengelola referensi menggunakan aplikasi Mendeley, mencatat kutipan, serta menyusun daftar pustaka dengan efisien. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan peserta dalam mengorganisir referensi, menghemat waktu dalam penyusunan daftar pustaka, serta meningkatkan literasi digital. Dengan demikian, pelatihan ini memberikan dampak yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan kualitas penelitian dan penulisan karya ilmiah peserta. Diharapkan hasil dari pelatihan ini dapat memberikan manfaat yang nyata dalam pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan penelitian di kalangan akademik.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the extent to which teacher certification plays a role in improving the quality of learning and classroom management. This research design is a literature study using a qualitative approach. This research describes the role of certified teachers synergizing with each other to carry out duties and responsibilities such as to carry out learning evaluations in formal education units consistently through daily test assessments, assignments, midterm and semester tests. Certification is a motivation for teachers to improve the quality of learning this is because teachers perform well in their fields. In line with that, teachers who have certification are also able to do good classroom management, because certified teachers are professional teachers in carrying out the learning process, so they are able to create a conducive, effective and comfortable classroom atmosphere. So that the teacher's job is not only to teach and educate, but also as a good classroom manager by acting as a facilitator, motivator, demonstrator, mediator and evaluator. All of this has been done well by certified teachers in applying discipline to manage learning and improve the quality of learning professionally in each.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menggambarkan tiga aspek dalam pembelajaran berbasis kebutuhan di Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB), yakni: (1) persiapan pembelajaran berbasis kebutuhan, (2) pelaksanaan pembelajaran berbasis kebutuhan, serta (3) penilaian pembelajaran berbasis kebutuhan. Metode penelitian yang dipergunakan ialah pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Terdapat tujuh informan yang terlibat pada kajian ini, yang terdiri dari kepala sekolah, guru yang mengajar siswa tunanetra, tunarungu, tunagrahita, tunadaksa, serta siswa dengan autisme, serta wakil orang tua siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dipergunakan meliputi wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipan, serta studi dokumentasi. Analisa data melibatkan langkah-langkah seperti reduksi data, penyajian data, mengambil kesimpulan, serta verifikasi. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan jika persiapan pembelajaran di SLB yang berfokus pada kebutuhan siswa mencakup beberapa hal berikut: (a) Identifikasi/asesmen termasuk langkah yang dijalankan oleh guru dan tim sekolah untuk memahami hambatan yang dihadapi oleh siswa serta kompetensi yang perlu dikembangkan oleh mereka. (b) PPI ialah usaha guru dalam merencanakan pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan individu dan kompetensi siswa. (c) Intervensi pembelajaran ialah upaya guru untuk mengembangkan kurikulum sekolah supaya sesuai dengan hambatan belajar siswa. (d) Modifikasi materi pembelajaran ialah penyesuaian yang dijalankan pada materi pembelajaran. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran juga melibatkan beberapa aspek berikut: (a) Keterampilan komunikasi guru ialah usaha guru dalam menjelaskan materi pembelajaran dengan cara yang menarik, tidak membosankan, serta memberi motivasi kepada siswa. (b) Strategi dan metode pembelajaran ialah usaha guru dalam mengatur pengelolaan kelas sesuai dengan hambatan yang dihadapi oleh siswa. (c) Sumber dan media pembelajaran termasuk dukungan untuk proses pembelajaran.
