Abstract

A well-prepared abstract enables the reader to identify the basic content of a document quickly and accurately, to determine its relevance to their interests, and thus to decide whether to read the document in its entirety. The Abstract should be informative and completely self-explanatory, provide a clear statement of the problem, the proposed approach or solution, and point out major findings and conclusions. The Abstract should be 150 to 300 words in length. The abstract should be written in the past tense. Standard nomenclature should be used and abbreviations should be avoided. No literature should be cited. The keyword list provides the opportunity to add keywords, used by the indexing and abstracting services, in addition to those already present in the title. Judicious use of keywords may increase the ease with which interested parties can locate our article. Recommender systems play a crucial role in e-commerce by providing relevant product suggestions based on user preferences. One approach that can be used to enhance recommendation quality is fuzzy logic, which enables the system to handle uncertainty in decision-making. This paper proposes the implementation of a product recommendation system on the Shopee e-commerce platform using fuzzy logic, considering three main factors: price, rating, and product popularity. Based on testing and evaluation, the fuzzy logic-based system demonstrates higher accuracy compared to other methods such as collaborative filtering and content-based filtering. The system successfully provides more flexible and relevant recommendations for Shopee users, enhancing their shopping experience.

Abstract

An organization's direction and success are greatly influenced by the process of choosing its leaders. However, due to the subjective nature of evaluations, this process often struggles to identify the best candidate. This study aims to elect the Head of the Student Association at the Faculty of Engineering and Informatics using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method as a decision support tool. The SAW method was chosen for its ability to evaluate and rank candidates based on several predetermined criteria. Utilizing a case study and a quantitative approach, data was collected through surveys, interviews, and direct observations. The criteria considered include semester, GPA, organizational experience, recommendations, and previous roles, with each criterion assigned a preference weight. The data was then processed through normalization and weighted summation, revealing that candidate number one achieved the highest score of 0.9895. The study concludes that the SAW method is an effective tool for facilitating objective and data-driven decision-making in the selection of organizational leaders. Abstract

Companies in the digital era need to integrate business processes to improve efficiency and competitiveness. Odoo is an open-source Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform that provides integrated solutions for managing diverse operational functions, including Supply Chain Management (SCM). The implementation of Odoo ERP at PT Anugrah Jaya Group, a company engaged in the sale of gadget accessories, has proven to enhance inventory management efficiency, accelerate order processing, and improve reporting accuracy. The system also reduces the risk of supply delays and strengthens coordination among departments within the supply chain. This system design utilizes Unified Modeling Language (UML) to visualize business process flows and ensure optimal integration. Therefore, Odoo ERP contributes positively to improving SCM performance and serves as a strategy that supports the sustainability of business processes at PT Anugrah Jaya Group.

Abstract

Managing services in the transportation sector such as vehicle rentals requires a structured and efficient system. Currently, the car rental booking and payment process at PUSKOPKA JATENG is still via WhatsApp or Instagram Direct Message, making it difficult to manage data and communicate with renters. The purpose of this research is to focus on designing a web-based car rental booking and payment information system at PUSKOPKA JATENG using the Waterfall model. This system is designed to provide convenience to renters in the process of booking and paying for car rentals online, as well as providing convenience to admins in managing data such as renter data, cars, rental packages, bookings, payments and transaction reports. The interface design was designed using Figma, while for system development using HTML, Laravel and MySQL as the database. To ensure all features run properly, testing is required, in this case the researcher used the Black Box method as a method in system testing.

Abstract

Era globalisasi saat ini yang didukung dengan perkembangan teknologi informasi yang semakin canggih, memudahkan bertemunya manusia dari berbagai budaya di seluruh belahan dunia. Penguasaan bahasa asing merupakan pintu masuk bagi bangsa Indonesia untuk bisa mengglobal. Hal ini bertolak belakang dengan kebijakan pemerintah dengan penghapusan bahasa Inggris sebagai mata pelajaran wajib di tingkat SD pada kurikulum 2013 karena dikhawatirkan siswa sejak kelas 1 SD mempelajari bahasa dan budaya asing sehingga melupakan budaya dan kearifan lokal bangsa sendiri. Solusi dari permasalahan ini yaitu dengan pembelajaran bahasa Inggris yang menggunakan kearifan lokal budaya Indonesia. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah menerapkan hasil penelitian yaitu software education games dan buku ajar agar siswa mampu menguasai bahasa Inggris dan tetap menjaga karakter dan budaya lokal dengan melalui pelatihan guru dan orang tua dalam pendampingan pembelajarannya. Metode pada pengabdian ini adalah survei dan wawancara, pelatihan dan sosialisasi model pembelajaran kepada guru bahasa Inggris dan orang tua siswa kelas 1 SD Islam Sultan Agung 3 Semarang. Hasil pengabdian ini adalah peningkatan ketrampilan guru dan orang tua dalam melakukan pendampingan belajar bahasa Inggris melalui pelatihan penggunaan software education games dan buku ajar. Model pembelajaran bahasa Inggris yang diterapkan tidak hanya berorientasi pada ilmu pengetahuan murni yang mementingkan kemampuan kognitif siswa saja, namun juga berorientasi pada kemampuan afektif, yaitu pembentukan karakter dan penerapan nilai-nilai budaya lokal pada siswa.

Abstract

Urban farming atau pertanian perkotaan merupakan solusi inovatif untuk memaksimalkan keterbatasan lahan sekaligus meningkatkan ketahanan pangan rumah tangga. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengenalkan dan mengimplementasikan konsep urban farming kepada anggota UP2K TP PKK Kelurahan Maltiharjo, Semarang, sebagai bentuk pemberdayaan perempuan dalam bidang pertanian berkelanjutan. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan teknis budidaya tanaman sayuran dengan metode vertikultur, serta pendampingan secara berkala dalam proses implementasi di lingkungan serta pemasaran hasil panen. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan anggota PKK dalam praktik urban farming, terlihat dari keberhasilan pembuatan media tanam, perawatan tanaman, dan hasil panen yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk konsumsi keluarga, tambahan menu sehat untuk Posyandu dan Poslansia serta tambahan pemasukan dari hasil penjualannya. Selain manfaat ekonomi dan gizi, urban farming juga menumbuhkan semangat gotong royong dan kepedulian terhadap lingkungan sekitar. Kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa urban farming berpotensi menjadi sarana pemberdayaan masyarakat, khususnya perempuan, dalam mendukung ketahanan pangan keluarga dan menciptakan lingkungan hijau produktif di wilayah perkotaan. Diperlukan tindak lanjut berupa pelatihan lanjutan dan pembentukan kelompok tani rumah tangga agar kegiatan ini dapat berkelanjutan dan berkembang menjadi unit usaha mikro di tingkat lokal dan dapat direplikasi di wilayah rumah tangga lainnya

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of career development, job placement, and job training on employee performance at PT Perkebunan Nusantara 1 Regional 3 Semarang. The research employed a quantitative approach with a causal design, using questionnaires distributed to all employees as a census sample. Data analysis techniques included multiple linear regression, validity and reliability testing, and classical assumption tests. The findings reveal that career development, job placement, and job training each have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Simultaneously, these three variables significantly contribute to improving performance, as indicated by the significance values in both t-tests and F-tests being below 0.05, and the coefficient of determination (R²) showing substantial explanatory power. The study concludes that human resource development strategies through career advancement, proper job placement, and effective training can significantly enhance employee performance. The practical implication suggests that company management should continue optimizing these aspects to improve organizational productivity.
