Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the Work Climate, Promotion of Positions, and Organizational Culture on the Employee Performance of Batam Authority partially and simultaneously. This research is quantitative from primary sources collected through questionnaires. The data collection technique is Random Sampling. The data analysis used was instrument testing, which was carried out through validity and reliability testing, while the data analysis technique used was descriptive analysis method and quantitative analysis using multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The results showed that partially the work climate variable was significant in employee performance. The promotion variable had a significant effect on employee performance. Organizational culture variables had a significant effect on employee performance. The results of simultaneous testing of the variables of Work Climate, Promotion of Position, and Organizational Culture had a significant effect on the Employees Performance of Batam Authority.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of leadership, motivation, and intensive on employee performance at pt karya teknik utama. The sampling technique in this study is a census, the entire population makes a sample of 72 people. Research instruments interviews and questionnaires. Data analysis using multiple regression tests, t tests, and f tests with spss version 23. The research results are as follows:  Leadership has a significant effect on the performance of employees of pt karya teknik utama with a t-count value for the leadership variable of 9.745 greater than the t-table of 1.662 and a significance value of 0.000 less than 0.05. Motivation has an effect and is significant on the performance of employees of pt karya teknik utama with a t-count value for the motivation variable of 3.353 greater than the t-table 1.662 and a significance value of 0.012 less than 0.05. Incentives have no effect and are insignificant to the performance of employees of pt karya teknik utama with a t-count value for incentives of 1.295 smaller than the t-table 1.662 and a significance value of 0.136 greater than 0.05. Leadership, motivation and incentives together have a significant effect on the performance of employees of pt karya teknik utama with an f-count value of 120,116 greater than the f-table of 2,48 and a significance level of 0.000 less than 0.05.

Abstract

Problem-solving abilities aim to increase students' analytical power in making decisions so as to help shape students' perceptions by seeing mathematics as an integrated part of life, but in reality students' problem-solving abilities are not yet optimal, one of the causes is the unavailability of learning tools that facilitate students students to improve their ability to solve mathematical problems. This study aims to produce learning tools based on the guided discovery model to improve students' problem-solving abilities in grade VI elementary school mathematics LKPD. This development research uses the Plomp model which consists of 3 stages, namely, preliminary, prototyping and assessment. The research subjects were students of class VI at SDN 02 Sitiung. Validation was carried out by experts in mathematics education, educational technology, and Indonesian. Practicality of learning tools seen from the results of practicality questionnaires on the implementation of learning, student and teacher questionnaires. Effectiveness is seen from the learning outcomes of students. The results of the analysis of the validity data indicate that the resulting guided discovery model-based learning tools have met the valid criteria in terms of content and construct. The learning tools are practical in terms of implementation, ease and time required, because the developed learning tools can be applied in mathematics learning activities. Learning tools have also been effective because they can improve learning outcomes. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the mathematics learning tools based on the guided discovery model for class VI Semester I that have been produced can be declared valid, practical and effective.

Abstract

The research entitled "The Effect of Risk-Based Training on Improving the Competence of State Civil Apparatus" aims to analyze the impact of training focusing on risk management on the development of ASN competencies. In the context of a dynamic public sector, risk-based training provides provisions for civil servants to identify, manage, and mitigate potential risks that may be faced in public services. This study uses a literature study approach with data analysis that highlights the importance of training as a human resource development strategy. The results of the study show that risk-based training not only improves the technical skills of ASN, but also strengthens analytical and responsive decision-making abilities in crisis situations. With training designed based on the identification and simulation of real risks, ASN is better prepared to face challenges, which ultimately has a positive impact on the quality of public services. This training plays an important role in supporting ASN to be more adaptive and professional in carrying out their duties. The study emphasizes that investment in risk-based training is very relevant for the development of competent civil servants, in order to support the achievement of organizational goals and increase public trust in government services.

Abstract

Background: Operation or surgery is a treatment that uses invasive methods by opening or exposing the part of the body that will be treated. When facing surgery the patient will experience various (causes). The stressor that is often found in patients who are about to undergo surgery is anxiety, which is an unclear and pervasive worry related to feelings of uncertainty and helplessness. Purpose: To determine the effect of providing pre-surgical information on reducing the anxiety level of surgical patients at Pertamedika Ummi Rosnati Hospital. Methods: This type of research is a quantitative type of research using One Group Pre and Post Test design with a Quasi-experimental design. The sample in this study were patients who had undergone surgery for the first time, totaling 66 respondents. Results: The research showed that the p.value = 0.001, (p.value < 0.05) which means that there is an influence of providing pre-operative information on the patient's pre-operative anxiety level. Conclusion: There is a significant influence of pre-surgery information on pre-operative patient anxiety levels

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the organizational performance of the Batam City Government through a public sector accounting approach. In the era of bureaucratic reform and the implementation of an accrual-based accounting system, the evaluation of public organizational performance has become essential to ensure accountability and transparency in regional financial management. The study employs a descriptive-qualitative approach with data collection techniques including documentation review, interviews, and an analysis of local government financial reports. The findings indicate that the implementation of public sector accounting has contributed to improving budget management efficiency, program implementation effectiveness, and the quality of financial reporting. However, several challenges remain, including limitations in human resource competencies and the suboptimal use of information technology. This study recommends strengthening the capacity of government personnel and enhancing performance measurement systems based on public sector accounting data as strategic steps to improve good governance within the Batam City Government.
