Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendapatkan data terkait tata ruang kantor. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif, populasi adalah semua karyawan yang berjumlah 71 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik Simple Random Sampling. Metode yang digunakan adalah angket dengan lima alternatif pilihan jawaban. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tata ruang kantor dilihat dari 1) penyusunan perabot dan peralatan kantor dengan rata-rata skor yaitu 3,89 berada pada kategori sesuai, Hal ini menunjukan bahwa penyusunan perabot dan peralatan kantor dapat meningkatkan suasana kerja yang baik. 2) aspek Kelancaran alur kerja dengan rata-rata skor 3,82 berada pada kategori sesuai, Hal ini menunjukan bahwa kelancaran alur kerja pegawai dapat meningkatkan produktivitas pegawai. 3) aspek pencahayaan dengan rata-rata skor 3,49 berada pada kategori kurang sesuai, artinya pada indikator ini perlu adanya peningkatan dengan menggunakan sistem pencahayaan ambient lighting dan task lighting. 4) aspek sirkulasi udara dengan rata-rata skor 3,61 berada pada kategori sesuai, artinya sirkulasi udara dalam kantor dapat menunjang kenyamanan kerja pegawai. 5) aspek kebisingan dengan skor 3,45 dengan kategori kurang sesuai. Artinya tingkat kebisingan dalam kantor masih perlu diperhatikan lagi supaya tidak mengganggu pekerjaan pegawai.

Abstract

Pada era televisi digital saluran televisi akan menghilang ketika tidak mendapatkan sinyal sehingga diharuskan untuk memutar tiang antena televisi secara langsung agar dapat menampilkan siaran televisi yang diinginkan. Pada penelitian ini, akan merancang serta membahas kendali pengatur arah antena televisi menggunakan perintah suara yang menggunakan smartphone android. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode sampling yakni dengan cara mengumpulkan data posisi sudut antena dari setiap saluran televisi yang tersedia terhadap antena pemancar. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa sistem pengatur arah antena televisi menggunakan perintah suara dapat digunakan untuk mengendalikan arah antena televisi agar mendapatkan sinyal dari antena pemancar sehingga didapatkan saluran televisi yang diinginkan tanpa memutar tiang antena televisi secara langsung.

Abstract

Vertical hydroponic farming is an innovative method of cultivating plants efficiently in urban environments. However, the main challenge in managing hydroponic farming is monitoring and regulating appropriate water levels for plants, especially on a large scale or in remote locations. To overcome this problem, an automatic irrigation control system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) is a potential solution. This study proposes the development of an automatic irrigation control system integrated with IoT technology to increase the efficiency and productivity of vertical hydroponic farming. This system consists of ultrasonic sensors and water flow sensors which are connected directly to a microcontroller, which is then connected to the IoT platform via a wireless network. Data obtained from these sensors is sent to the IoT platform for processing and analysis in real-time.

Abstract

The cultivation system using hydroponics is now widely popular among the community because it does not require large areas of land. Using the hydroponic system results in faster and optimal harvests. However, the busy activities of urban communities often cause them to fail in implementing it due to constraints in controlling and monitoring hydroponic plants. Additionally, PLN electricity is essential for operating the water pump, and the electricity load and tariff increases, along with sudden blackouts, significantly impact business actors. To address this problem, this research creates an Internet of Things (IoT)-based water monitoring system for ACONE Hydroponics partners with solar panel (PLTS) energy sources as an alternative energy in the event of a sudden PLN power outage. The sensors used in this system include the HCR-04 ultrasonic sensor to monitor water availability and the water flow sensor to measure water flow (discharge). Sensor data is processed by the ESP32 microcontroller and sent to the Blynk cloud platform via an internet connection and displayed on an LCD. System testing shows that the system can send sensor data to the cloud platform stably and in real-time. Data visualization on the cloud platform is easy to understand and helps hydroponic owners monitor water conditions in hydroponic systems. This water monitoring system can help users optimize water use in hydroponic systems.

Abstract

This research is designed to optimize the process of accessing sterile or high-security areas by integrating RFID and CNN technologies to minimize manual intervention. RFID can quickly, accurately, and automatically identify each individual, while the CNN algorithm for facial recognition ensures more accurate and secure authentication. The combination of these two technologies creates an innovative solution to address various challenges present in conventional systems. Additionally, the use of a website with a local server allows for real-time monitoring and management of data, providing ease in data processing and analysis in these areas

Abstract

This study explores the challenges and opportunities in talent management strategies for the gig economy, where short-term, flexible work arrangements are increasingly prominent. The research employs a qualitative approach, utilizing an extensive literature review of journal articles, to examine key themes related to managing gig workers. Findings reveal that while the gig economy offers significant benefits to organizations—such as cost efficiency, access to diverse expertise, and operational flexibility—it also presents challenges, including high turnover rates, difficulties in worker retention, and the integration of gig workers into organizational culture. The study emphasizes the need for adaptive talent management strategies tailored to the unique demands of gig work, such as flexible onboarding processes, project-based engagements, competitive compensation, and opportunities for skill development. Practical recommendations include fostering engagement through transparent communication and the use of digital collaboration tools to enhance remote worker cohesion. Given the study’s reliance on literature review, future research is encouraged to incorporate empirical data, such as interviews or surveys with gig workers and employers, to further validate and enrich the findings. This study contributes to the growing body of knowledge on talent management within the gig economy and provides actionable insights for organizations seeking to effectively engage and manage gig talent.

Abstract

IQ stands for Intelligence Quotient. It is a numerical score obtained from various psychometric tests designed to measure a person's general intelligence or cognitive ability. IQ is often used as an indicator of academic potential, success in the workplace, and adaptability to new environments. However, it is important to remember that IQ is only one aspect of human intelligence. IQ assessments are widely used in fields as diverse as education, psychology, and employment. Manually administered IQ tests are often time-consuming, require human intervention, and are prone to error. On the other hand, the development of data-driven technology allows for faster and more accurate information processing. Machine learning is a system that can learn to make its own decisions without being reprogrammed by humans, allowing computers to become smarter and learn from their experience with data. That's why the author conducted research to develop an IQ prediction model using machine learning algorithms.

Abstract

Pada saat ini dunia industri manufaktur telah mengalami perkembangan yang sangat besar, dapat dilihat dari penggunaan alat-alat teknologi yang dapat membantu mempermudah aktivitas produksi. Programmable logic control (PLC) merupakan salah satu teknologi yang mengambil peranan penting dalam menjalankan berlangsungnya proses produksi termasuk pada aktivitas penyortiran barang warna dan non warna. Dalam hal ini peranan PLC sangat penting untuk kemajuan dan perkembangan sebuah industri serta dapat mempermudah pekerjaan. Untuk itu dengan dibuatnya simulasi penyortiran barang warna dan non warna yang berbasis PLC GLOFA GM4-PA2A agar dapat membantu dan mempermudah dalam penyortiran barang secara otomatis. Dimana alat tersebut sudah dilengkapi dengan beberapa fitur seperti sensor optic diffus yang berperan untuk mendeteksi barang warna dan non warna sehingga dapat dipisahkan secara otomatis. Dalam melakukan simulasi tersebut menggunakan aplikasi pemrograman GMWIN sebagai media agar dapat memerintah PLC tersebut sesuai yang dibutuhkan.

Abstract

The research entitled "The Effect of Risk-Based Training on Improving the Competence of State Civil Apparatus" aims to analyze the impact of training focusing on risk management on the development of ASN competencies. In the context of a dynamic public sector, risk-based training provides provisions for civil servants to identify, manage, and mitigate potential risks that may be faced in public services. This study uses a literature study approach with data analysis that highlights the importance of training as a human resource development strategy. The results of the study show that risk-based training not only improves the technical skills of ASN, but also strengthens analytical and responsive decision-making abilities in crisis situations. With training designed based on the identification and simulation of real risks, ASN is better prepared to face challenges, which ultimately has a positive impact on the quality of public services. This training plays an important role in supporting ASN to be more adaptive and professional in carrying out their duties. The study emphasizes that investment in risk-based training is very relevant for the development of competent civil servants, in order to support the achievement of organizational goals and increase public trust in government services.
