<![CDATA[Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan wujud, komponen, dan nilai budaya wacana mantra pada upacara wiwit. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan wujud wacana mantra yang khas dari desa Wonokerto dan tidak ada di desa lain. Komponen tutur diantaranya, waktu dilaksanakannya upacara tersebut adalah Minggu Legi, Minggu Kliwon, dan Rebo Pon, bertempat di sawah yang akan dipanen, peserta tuturnya adalah pemilik sawah atau orang yang dituakan di desa tersebut, pokok tuturannya berisi permintaan dan terimakasih, sarana tuturnya monolog berbahasa Jawa, tidak ada norma atau aturan tutur yang berarti dalam pembacaan mantra, kode ujaran menggunakan bahasa Jawa. Nilai budaya pada mantra upacara wiwit adalah hubungan manusia dengan alam dan hubungan manusia dengan dirinya sendiri. Mantra tidak hanya sebagai bentuk ucapan, tetapi juga ucapan terima kasih, permohonan, dan harapan pembicara. Oleh karena itu, tradisi lisan ini perlu dilestarikan dalam budaya modern.The discourse of mantra at wiwit ceremony (An ethnolinguistic study)This study aimed to delineate the form, components, and value of peace implied in the cultural values of the mantra at the wiwit ceremony. As one of the local wisdom values that grew in society, it is important to reveal the meaning. The method used was descriptive qualitative with ethnolinguistic approaches. The results show the form of the discourse of mantra, the speech components, i.e. setting of the ceremony held on Minggu Legi, Minggu Kliwon, and Rebo Pon, in the fields that will be harvested, while the speech participants are the owner of the rice field or the elderly in the village, end, and goal of the mantra are instrumental and representational, act and sequence consisting a request and gratitude, key or manner is Javanese, the instrument of the mantra is a monologue, no norm or rule of speech in reciting the mantra, and this mantra have ethnography genre. The cultural values of the mantra illustrate the peace between human relationships with nature and with himself. The mantra is not only a form of speech, but also of gratitude, request, and hope of the speakers. Therefore, preserving this oral tradition in the modern culture is necessary.]]>
