The transition toward a green economy encourages micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to use energy and raw materials more efficiently while reducing environmental impacts. However, limited knowledge remains a challenge in adopting environmentally friendly business practices. This community service program aimed to improve the understanding of the MSME community regarding the green economy through education and assistance on energy- and raw-material-saving strategies. The program was conducted online on September 26, 2026, in collaboration with the SSQ Holistik Internasional MSME Community in Malang and was attended by 42 participants. The program used a participatory capacity-building approach consisting of needs identification, education, practical assistance, discussion, and evaluation. Evaluation was conducted using pre-tests and post-tests. The results showed that the average level of understanding increased from 63 to 85, representing an increase of 22 points (34.92%). The normalized gain score was 0.59, categorized as moderate. These findings indicate an improvement in participants’ knowledge of energy and raw-material efficiency as part of the green economy. However, increased knowledge does not necessarily indicate actual changes in business practices. Further assistance is needed to encourage implementation and measure energy, raw-material, waste, and cost efficiency in MSME operations.
