Abstract

Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) play a crucial role in the construction industry in Indonesia, with construction SMEs accounting for nearly 90% of the total construction industry. However, construction SMEs face various challenges, such as limited resources, lack of access to projects, inefficient procurement processes, and human resource issues. This research aims to model a digital marketplace specifically designed to address these challenges and develop the business models of construction SMEs. By employing the Business Model Canvas (BMC) approach, this research maps nine key elements in designing the business model of a digital marketplace for construction SMEs, including customer segments, value propositions, distribution channels, customer relationships, revenue streams, key resources, key activities, key partnerships, and cost structure. The results indicate that a digital marketplace can serve as a solution for construction SMEs to improve project access, process efficiency, and collaboration with strategic partners. Through the digital marketplace, construction SMEs can promote their products and services, connect with consumers and project partners, and enhance their capacities and competencies. This model offers a roadmap for developers and policymakers in creating platforms that drive competitiveness, efficiency, and growth of construction SMEs in the era of industrial digitalization..

Abstract

PT XYZ. Is an industrial company that produces galvalume toilet doors. August 2024. Successfully produced 11,147 non-coloring galvalume doors and 1,645 existing defective products. These problems are caused by a variety of factors including machines, people, and materials. To overcome this problem, the Six Sigma method was integrated with the DMAIC approach. The aim of this approach is to identify the causes of defects and provide solutions and preventive measures to reduce the occurrence of defective products. Types with broken rivets 49.06%, fast frame coming off 19.88%, loose 11.00%, loose 5.11%, black scratches 2.86%, rivets not up to 2.55%, brand, rust & scratches 2.43%, brands & scratches 1.52%, length 1.46%, dents & loose 1.22%, stains & scratches 0.97%, tilted 0.36%, black stains 0.30%, poor installation 0.30%, loose & loose connections 0.30%, scratches & dents 0.18%, rusted 0.12%, rust & scratches 0.12%, dents 0.12%, loose connections 0.06%, reversed 0.06%. Broken rivets are the most common cause of product defects. PT. XYZ. Measured using defects per million occurrences (DPMO) and shows that the quality of the door product is at a sigma level of 6.030 and a DPMO value of 4.676. Factors include galvalume and rivet nails that do not meet production standards, as well as worker negligence during the production process. Based on these findings, several suggestions were put forward, including the need for a control list to check good and bad raw materials.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Network analysis is a widely adopted technique for project planning and scheduling. Within project planning, several critical factors influence success and smooth execution; among these, the precise, effective, and efficient scheduling of activities or tasks is paramount. The Critical Path Method (CPM) and the Program Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT) are two independently developed network-based methodologies designed to assist project managers in orchestrating complex projects. Empirical data derived from calculations utilizing POM QM version 5 reveal that the project completion duration via the CPM method is 182 days, whereas the PERT method yields a duration of 184 days with a standard deviation of 4.58 and a variance of 21. These findings suggest that the project's activities are anticipated to conclude within a window spanning a minimum of 182 days to a maximum of 184 days. This specific completion timeframe carries a probability (expectation level) of 46.41%. The observed low probability is largely attributable to the substantial divergence between the initially planned activity duration of 238 days and the recommended durations of 182 days (CPM) and 184 days (PERT). Notably, both CPM and PERT methodologies consistently generated shorter durations compared to the original 238-day planned schedule. This outcome stems from both CPM and PERT methods' inherent consideration of ideal actual conditions.

Abstract

This study examines the effects of financial literacy, knowledge awareness, price affordability, and trust in eco-labels on the intention to buy eco-friendly coffee in Indonesia. Using an explanatory quantitative approach with Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) and data from 300 respondents, the findings reveal that price affordability significantly affects green purchase intention, while financial literacy has no direct effect. Knowledge awareness enhances trust in eco-labels, which mediates the relationship between knowledge awareness and green purchase intention. Moreover, price affordability moderates the effect of knowledge awareness on green purchase intention. These results highlight the importance of balancing financial considerations and ecological awareness to promote sustainable coffee consumption.
