The title of this research is “Illocutionary Acts Found in Dinosaur Prison Movie”. The illocutionary act is a central category in speech act theory. Illocutionary act is accomplished via utterance with a communicative intention. All data analyzed in this research comes from the Movie Dinosaur Prison. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative approach. The analysis of this data employed the illocutionary act theory presented in Searle's book titled “Expression and Meaning: Studies in the Theory of Speech Acts” (1979). This theory was utilized to examine the various types of illocutionary acts evident in the data. Apart from that, another theory sourced from Leech's book “Pragmatics of Politeness” (2014), was employed to assess the function of illocutionary acts. This research employs three primary methods: Data Source, Data Analysis, and Data Collection. Furthermore, the examination of illocutionary act yielded a total of 40 utterances in this movie, they are assertive, directive, commissive, expressive, and declaration. Overall, the findings of this research highlight the type and function of illocutionary act in the “Dinosaur Prison” movie. The most dominant type of illocutionary act identified in this movie is the Assertive illocutionary act, which predominated due to the characters predominantly making forceful statements intended to influence others to take action.

Language is not just a means of communication, but a force that shapes our perspective and behavior towards the environment. In the digital era, social media has become an important platform for environmental conservation campaigns, with hashtags (#hashtag) functioning as frames that direct meaning and mobilize action. This research examines how the Instagram account @griya_Luhu uses hashtags to campaign for environmental issues. Through ecolinguistic framing analysis of popular hashtags used, this research reveals @griya_Luhu's strategy in: Framing environmental problems and solutions, defining individual and collective roles, and promoting pro-environmental values. The research results show that @griya_luhu effectively simplifies complex issues, encourages real action, and builds collective awareness. However, some potential biases and simplifications need to be criticized. This research underscores the importance of language analysis in examining the effectiveness of environmental campaigns on social media and provides an analytical framework for future similar research.conservation. In this digital era, social media such as Instagram certainly plays an important role in promoting sustainable actions that can attract the attention of its users. Visual content that depicts strategically-framed messages about sustainability has the potential to influence people's perspectives and may lead to social change. This study aims to analyze the framing of eco-discourse in Kembali Becik and Astungkara Way through Instagram. In addition, this study also aims to discuss solutions related to sustainable actions offered by the two forums. This study was designed using a qualitative descriptive method. The results revealed that positive and negative framing can be found in both accounts.

Ecofeminism encompasses a broader perspective, linking environmental issues with social issues. Previous research has shown that environmental discourse generated by various actors, including the government, NGOs, and the media, plays a significant role in shaping public awareness and behavior. However, the phenomenon of women often being excluded from decision-making regarding environmental policies requires special attention. In this digital era, women can share stories, adaptation strategies, and sustainable practices in addressing environmental issues through various platforms. This study aims to analyze the ideology of the women's community embodied in eco-discourse on the Modern Women Bali magazine. The research method applied is a qualitative method with data in the form of eco-discourse on the Modern Women Bali magazine. Results show that the ideologies of ecofeminism found in the media include women’s environmental care, women’s support for local sustainability, women’s role as guardian of nature, and women’s growth through nature.

This study investigates the salience of hashtags used on the @pulauplastik Instagram account through the lens of ecolinguistics. Captions and photos were used to collect data from the @pulauplastik Instagram account. Data was analyzed using ecolinguistic theory of salience. Through an ecolinguistic perspective, this research reveals the importance of using hashtags in campaigning for environmental preservation via Instagram social media, especially the @pulsplastic account. The results of this research show that effective use of hashtags can increase the salience of environmental conservation issues, attract users' attention, and encourage active participation in conservation efforts. As such, this research provides a valuable contribution to environmental communications strategy, offering practical guidance for activists, policymakers, and communities in designing more effective campaigns in the digital era. Using salience or prominence in hashtags can show how language can play an important role in increasing awareness and participation of social media users on the issue of plastic pollution and environmental conservation. Taboo expressions are part of a language that is produced by culture. Every language in an area certainly has taboo expressions, including Denpasar City. Denpasar City is an industrial center that attracts everyone from various regions to settle and survive. With the phenomenon of immigrants with various backgrounds, there is an intensity of multi-language. On the other hand, technological advances slowly change language norms, especially the use of taboo words. This study aims to examine taboo words and analyze the context of an utterance that becomes taboo. This study uses a qualitative approach. Data was obtained through field studies and literature. This study also employs the theory of ethnographic and anthropological linguistics approaches. The results show that taboo expressions in Denpasar are divided into four categories: language level of taboo, naming taboo, context-specific taboo words, and general taboo words. In addition to the context, an utterance that becomes taboo is not only influenced by the word but is the result of a combination of performance and participants in the process of its expression. Thus, an utterance becomes taboo or inseparable from several elements, namely what utterance is used, how the utterance is used, where the utterance is used, who is involved, and what is meant by the said utterance.

Bali sebagai destinasi pariwisata tentunya sangat ramai dikunjungi wisatawan dari berbagai belahan dunia. Hal ini merupakan pemicu bagi generasi muda untuk dapat menguasai bahasa asing, utamanya bahasa Inggris. Sebagai contoh, penggunaan bahasa Inggris menjadi sangat penting untuk dapat bekomunikasi dengan wisatawan yang berkunjung. Oleh sebab itu, bahasa Inggris tentunya sangat perlu untuk dipelajari sejak dini, di samping itu, saat ini banyak wisatawan yang berkunjung ke Bali dengan berbagai tujuan yakni berlibur, mengenal budaya lokal dan sebagainya. Fenomen ini tentunya sangat penting untuk diperhatikan mengingat Bali sangat kaya akan produk dan budaya lokal. Kendala keterbatasan berkomunikasi dalam bahasa Inggris seringkali menjadi permasalahan untuk dapat memperkenalkan budaya ataupun produk lokal pada wisatawan yang berkunjung. Kendala tersebut dapat diatasi dengan mengadakan pengajaran atau pelatihan bahasa Inggris agar tentunya budaya lokal dan produk lokal dapat lebih dikenal oleh wisatawan yang berkunjung. Pengajaran bahasa Inggris yang diperkenalkan juga dapat memuat unsur pengenalan budaya, hal ini penting karena pengenalan budaya pada remaja dapat disisipkan dalam pengajaran bahasa, seperti pengenalan bahasa Inggris yang mengandung unsur budaya dapat termuat dalam pengenalan kata benda sebagi contoh makanan, profesi, tempat dan sebagainya dengan sajian yang menarik sehingga mudah diingat oleh siswa, pengenalan kata sifat sebagai contoh kata sifat yang sering digunakan dalam mendeskripsikan tempat. Dengan demikian, adanya pendampingan pengajaran bahasa Inggris dapat meningkatkan kualitas dan mutu pelajaran bahasa Inggris dan membantu lembaga yang berlokasi di desa khususnya yang memiliki potensi wisata yang tinggi.

In line with this, of course, Bali as a world tourist destination has an impact on the behavior of its people. For the younger generation in Bali, having good English skills makes it easier for them to get jobs and can increase competitiveness for the welfare of their lives. This causes the attention of the Balinese people to prioritize the mastery and use of foreign languages. Mastering a foreign language, especially English, is also thought to increase prestige and open great opportunities to win global competition.

Lokaserana Traditional Village is one of the traditional villages parts of Siangan Village. Lokaserana Traditional Village is located in Siangan Village, Gianyar District, Gianyar Regency. The traditional chief, I Ketut Putra Yasa, leads the Lokaserana Traditional Village. Lokaserana Traditional Village Community, Most of them work in the tourism sector. However, because of the pandemic, people have turned to become farmers. The Lokaserana Traditional Village is connected to the village temples, and there is a place of worship, which has the potential to be a religious tourism area. Based on the potential of this area, it has not been accompanied by good road network infrastructure arrangements, especially the maximum utilization of the shoulders, the drainage that has not worked optimally, and the road asphalt in poor condition, especially near village boundaries. Based on this problem, the solutions offered by the PKM Team included: socialization of road shoulder arrangement and repair of drains or culverts. The methods used in this PKM were observation and survey data collection.
