Abstract

Pniel Noemuke Christian Theological High School (SMTK) is one of the SMTK level educational institutions located in Noemuke, East Nusa Tenggara, South Amanuban District, South Central Timor Regency (TTS). The distance between the school and where students live is quite far and the road conditions are poor so transportation costs are quite high. This in itself is a challenge for teachers and students, except for SMTK Pniel Noemuke Class 11 students who are preparing to enter class. Of course this is not an easy situation. Students prepare for their studies while struggling to find their identity amidst the turmoil of adolescence. In line with this, the IAKN Kupang Christian Leadership Curriculum organizes activities in the form of self-development workshops to prepare students to face the future. This community outreach through workshops and focus group discussions (FGD) aims to provide insight into healthy self-understanding and teach students to develop skills to plan a brighter future. The results of the services provided show that students feel satisfied and feel the benefits of PKM activities which aim at self-development to prepare for the future.

Abstract

It is important for students to understand their role in connecting thought and action, because this is an important foundation in achieving personal success. In response to this problem, the team of lecturers in the Philosophy of Science, Logic and Interpersonal Communication courses carried out PKM in the form of increasing the critical thinking capacity of students in the IAKN Kupang Pastoral Counseling and Christian Psychology Study Program through seminar activities with the theme "Bridging the Worlds of Thought and Action". The activity implementation method consists of several stages. These stages are planning, implementation and evaluation. The final results of this activity show that there is a significant impact obtained by students, especially on understanding thoughts and how to align participants' thoughts with actions in the real world, so that students are able to bridge the gap between creative thoughts and real actions in everyday life.

Abstract

The Independent Curriculum emphasizes the importance of authentic assessment to measure students' learning achievement. One form of authentic assessment that can be used to measure HOTS abilities is a HOTS-based instrument. Teachers at Enonekmese State Middle School have so far had difficulty in compiling HOTS-based instruments. This training is expected to increase teachers' insight into the rules and how to compile HOTS-based assessment instruments. There are three stages carried out in this training activity, namely: 1. Planning. At this stage, the activity implementer contacts the training presenter, determines the location of the activity and prepares all activity needs. 2. Implementation. At this stage, the training activity is carried out for one day by presenting 2 speakers. 3. Evaluation. After the activity is completed, an evaluation is then held to see the achievement of the activities that have been carried out. This PkM activity was carried out in two sessions with different forms. Participants were given an understanding of the independent learning curriculum and received training and assistance in preparing HOTS-based evaluation instruments. This training provides a significant contribution to teachers in gaining a number of knowledge and competencies related to the independent learning curriculum and the preparation of HOTS-based evaluation instruments.
