Abstract

The enhancement of environmental quality for urban settlement in Palembang is expected to be sustainable due to the increase number of slum areas and the limited funding allocation for the infrastructure establishment. This study aimed to determine priority scale of activities and locations according to three pillars of sustainable development which can alleviate slum areas i.e. physical environment, social and economic aspects by involving all stakeholders. This research will provide information for the local government to determine priority activities and locations for settlement improvement by using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). The study revealed that the main factor to improve the environmental quality for settlement in 29 Ilir sub-district was the infrastructure development with urgency level reaching 46.7%. Meanwhile, the urgency level of social activity factor was approximately 31.2% followed by the economic development factor which was the lowest level by 22.1%. However, the highest priority level from those activity factors was household waste management by 100%, while other priority activities that should be done consecutively were waste infrastructure (93.5%), community service activities (83,6%), environmental drainage (66.2%), sanitation (66.1%), business capital loans (63%), training and entrepreneurship (61%), and compensation for the poor (57,9 %). The aforementioned activities were conducted in priority locations in which environmental quality was relatively poor.

Abstract

Kunjir Village has been designated as a Leading Tourism Village by the South Lampung Regency Government in early 2022. However, Kunjir Village is still have declining in tourism activities, especially after tsunami disaster in 2018. Based on this potential disaster, the authors in previous research have formulate into 4 (four) zoning of Kunjir Village’s coastal area. These zoning directives needs to be completed by actual data based on the potential for new tourism development and the aspirations of the community. The purpose of this study is to arrange clustering of tourist villages based on regional spatial conditions by considering environmental conditions in order to support people's welfare. This research is a descriptive study using qualitative methods with secondary data sources and information from respondents selected by purposive sampling with conducting structured interviews. The analysis was carried out by combining this research findings with the previous research results. The results of this study are developt 4 (four) superior tourism clusters including the Kunjir's Giant Seawall Cluster, the Kunjir Culinary Tour Cluster, the Kunjir Hot Springs and Waterfall Cluster, and the Kunjir Open Air Museum Cluster. This tourism village clustering can be used as a reference and will be able to be held regularly then become the tourism agenda of South Lampung Regency.

Abstract

One of the industrial sectors that has grown a lot in Lampung Province is the Small Medium Industry (IMK), there are 95,041 businesses/companies spread throughout the Lampung Province, 92,214 businesses (97.03 %) of which are micro industries and the rest are small industries. This study aims to identify the social, economic and environmental dimensions and their attributes on the sustainability of the rice and brick milling industry in Pringsewu District. The data used is primary data for 2022. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. Based on the results of the study, it showed The economic dimension has the attributes of income, sales volume, production costs, production capacity, availability of raw materials, and availability of energy. The social dimension uses attributes, educational level, industrial business experience, the age of the respondent, the quality of human resources (education) employment, and public health. The environmental dimension uses the attributes of waste management, health, proximity to similar industrial areas, suitability for business placement (RTRW), building density (KDB), and fulfillment of complete business permits.

Abstract

Palembang merupakan salah satu kota di Indonesia dan merupakan ibukota dari Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Secara geografis, Kota Palembang dibelah oleh Sungai Musi menjadi dua bagian. Kampung Kapitan merupakan salah satu kawasan cagar budaya yang terletak di tepi sungai Musi tepat di sisi barat jembatan Ampera yang dikenal juga dengan daerah Tujuh Ulu. Munculnya Kampung Kapitan pada awalnya disebabkan oleh kebutuhan atau kepentingan masyarakat atas transportasi dan kebutuhan terhadap air. Perkembangan yang terjadi di Kampung Kapitan cukup pesat dan telah mempengaruhi kondisi lingkungan di kampung itu sendiri. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengkaji morfologi Kampung Kapitan sebagai permukiman tepian air dan mencari tahu apakah Kampung Kapitan telah berkembang menjadi permukiman berkelanjutan. Penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dan pengumpulan data berdasarkan hasil studi literatur dan observasi langsung ke lapangan. Setelah mengkaji sejarah Kampung Kapitan, faktor perkembangan morfologi, elemen morfologi, jenis tepian air, pola permukiman, dan kondisi lingkungan di Kampung Kapitan, permasalahan yang didapatkan dari perkembangan permukiman yakni masalah pada lingkungan hidup yang buruk. Morfologi Kampung Kapitan mengalami perubahan yang sangat jauh dari tahun ketahun hal ini ditandai dari berkurangnya ruang terbuka dan hilangnya area bantaran sungai yang berubah menjadi area pemukiman, kurangnya pemahaman masyarakat terkait efisiensi energi dan transportasi sehingga tidak tersedianya jalur kendaraan dan lahan parkir di Kampung Kapitan, serta perilaku hidup tidak sehat membuktikan bahwasanya lingkungan di Kampung Kapitan belum memenuhi kriteria dari lingkungan tepian air berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Dynamic city development has an impact on land consumption levels, as an effort to increase city capacity, so this is not a sustainable option both socially and economically. As one of the provincial capitals on the island of Sumatra and the city closest to the island of Java, the city of Bandar Lampung certainly experiences the same demands regarding the use of built-up land. In identifying these conditions, this article uses a decoupling analysis method of built-up land area, population and local revenue. This research uses NDBI (Normalized Difference Built-Up Index) to describe built-up land, population and LGR (Local Government Revenue) to describe the social and economic conditions of Bandar Lampung City. The results of the NDBI analysis from 2014 to 2022 show that built-up land in Bandar Lampung City has reached 61.67%. In the same period, the city's population increased by an average of 6.01% and Bandar Lampung City's LGR increased by an average of 13.55% in 2022 amounting to IDR 645 billion. In the decoupling analysis of built-up land to population, Bandar Lampung City has an expansive negative decoupling category, so there are indications that the growth of built-up land is not adjusting to the number of residents to be accommodated. In the decoupling analysis of built-up land against PAD, the decoupling index falls into the Expansive coupling category, which means that built-up land and PAD have increased, but the growth of built-up land is higher than the PAD of Bandar Lampung City. In both conditions, it shows that population growth and local income of Bandar Lampung City is still below the growth of built-up land, so it is indicated that the growth of built-up land in Bandar Lampung City is less efficient.

Abstract

Terdapat kenaikan harga di beberapa transportasi seperti pesawat dan bus. Hal ini menyebabkan penumpang lebih memilih moda transportasi yang jauh lebih murah dan terjangkau. Layanan kapal penyeberangan kapal eksekutif dan kapal reguler merupakan salah satu transportasi yang dapat digunakan untuk menuju Jakarta dan sebaliknya. Sehingga tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi permintaan penumpang dalam pemilihan layanan kapal penyeberangan rute Bakauheni-Merak serta menganalisis peluang atau probabilitas penumpang yang menggunakan kapal eksekutif dan kapal reguler penyeberangan rute Bakauheni-Merak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linear berganda dan analisis probabilitas dengan metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner. Hasil penelitian ini faktor yang paling berpengaruh dalam pemilihan layanan penyeberangan pada kapal eksekutif yaitu faktor waktu perjalanan sebesar 56% dan pada kapal reguler yaitu faktor tarif sebesar 79%. Didapatkan persamaan regresi linear berganda Y = 0,187 + 0,178 X1 + 0,252 X2 + 0,177 X3 + 0,212 X4 + 0,128 X5 untuk kapal eksekutif dan Y = 0,114 + 0,120 X1 + 0,244 X2 + 0,243 X3 + 0,256 X4 + 0,099 X5 untuk kapal reguler dengan nilai koefisien determinasi (R2) kapal eksekutif sebesar 0,876 dan kapal reguler sebesar 0,855. Dengan nilai utilitas kapal eksekutif sebesar 3,8309 dan kapal reguler sebesar 3,3773. Berdasarkan perhitungan dari persamaan di atas didapat nilai persentase probabilitas untuk pemilihan layanan kapal penyeberangan kapal eksekutif sebesar 61,15% dan kapal reguler sebesar 38,85%.

Abstract

Abstract. Mutun Beach, located in the Padang Cermin District, Pesawaran Regency, Lampung Province, Indonesia, is one of the natural tourist attractions with great potential to increase the local revenue in Pesawaran due to its combination of white sand, clear sea water, and various exciting activities offered. However, a significant tourist decrease has occurred, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, the presence of competing beach resort developers, poor road access, inadequate aesthetic design, and poor waste management are also reasons why Pantai Mutun is becoming less popular. The collaboration of the "Place" theory elements is applied to maintain the attraction of Pantai Mutun. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method with survey data processed into simple statistics such as percentages and averages to answer research questions and test hypotheses. The results show that the application of "place" theory elements at Pantai Mutun received an average score of 2.47, categorized as Poor. This condition indirectly affects the sustainability of Pantai Mutun, with the predicted gradual decrease in the number of visitors in the coming years until a critical point is reached where the sustainability of the tourist area becomes difficult to maintain. Recommendations include the consistent integration of "place" theory elements in every aspect of design and management, as well as increasing the involvement of the local community in the area's management to ensure sustainability and the relevance of the design to the local culture.

Abstract

Urban village as a historic village has a high physical, social and cultural values that needs to be preserved. Kampung Negeri Olok Gading has been designated as a cultural and historical village by the Government of Bandar Lampung City, however it is constrainted by the development of the surrounding area. The purposes of this study are: (1) to know the pattern and variety of activities within the village as a creative village embryo; (2) to know the physical condition, functional condition and environmental condition of the kampung; (3) to formulate the physical arrangement strategy in transforming Kampung Negeri Olok Gading become Urban Creative Village. This research uses descriptive analysis methodology through empirical study to existing condition. Through empirical tracking of the physical elements of the area, it is known that there are significant changes to the condition of the urban village such as: the changing of land use and building, the changing of the building and the environment. The main strategy that can be applied to transform Kampung into the creative village is the integrated conservation of the area which include physical, social and cultural aspects

Abstract

the increasing number of passengers and the planned development of urban transportation infrastructure. However, the selection of station locations is a crucial aspect that requires careful consideration. This study aimed to identify the key criteria for determining passenger rail station locations in the city. The Delphi method and Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) were used to obtain structured expert assessments and to measure the priority of location criteria. The results indicated that accessibility was the criterion with the highest weight (0.480), followed by central activity areas (0.204), land use (0.167), and demand (0.148). Furthermore, the most influential sub-criteria were road networks (0.228), public transportation networks (0.156), and proximity to commercial and service centers (0.097). These results suggest that accessibility and proximity to central activity areas should be the primary considerations to improve mobility, reduce regional disparities, and support sustainable economic growth.

Abstract

Provinsi Lampung beribukota di Bandar Lampung. Ibukota ini mengalami pertumbuhan pesat dan menjadi magnet bagi masyarakat kota dan kabupaten sekitarnya. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan transportasi umum dengan kualitas pelayanan yang efektif dan efisien untuk memudahkan mobilitas masyarakat antar kota/kabupaten di Provinsi Lampung. Pelayanan transportasi umum yang berkualitas merupakan kunci untuk menarik masyarakat beralih dari kendaraan pribadi ke transportasi umum. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pelayanan AKDP berdasarkan ketersediaan fasilitas, kepuasan pengguna dan prioritas kinerja pelayanan. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada rute AKDP Terminal Rajabasa - Terminal Pringsewu. Pengumpulan data menggunakan survey lapangan dan penyebaran kuesioner kepada 50 pengguna jasa dan 6 pakar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Customer Satisfaction Index dan Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process. Hasil yang diperoleh pada penelitian adalah tingkat ketersediaan fasilitas bus AKDP (62%), tingkat ketersediaan fasilitas Terminal Rajabasa (54,28%) dan tingkat ketersediaan fasilitas Terminal Pringsewu (40%). Analisis CSI menunjukkan 78,13% pengguna AKDP merasa puas terhadap pelayanan AKDP. Selanjutnya, analisis Fuzzy AHP mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor utama meliputi keselamatan, keamanan, pelayanan yang sigap dan tepat, kemudahan kendaraan untuk dijangkau serta kebersihan dan kerapihan menjadi faktor yang paling berpengaruh dalam prioritas kinerja pelayanan AKDP. Kinerja pelayanan menjadi faktor terpenting dalam meningkatkan penggunaan AKDP dan dapat ditingkatkan dengan peningkatan fasilitas keselamatan dan keamanan di terminal dan bus.
