Abstract

Kampong is one of the human settlement in urban area that can be describe as traditional housingbefore the modern planning of settlement attached to cities in Indonesia. Kampong as the embryois the root of growth for Indonesian cities, so that the urban planning must give more attention tothis type as planning basic. Kampong is the resource of civilization, creativity and culture forurban areas because of its conditions and limitations. The Localities inside will give the characterfor new spirit of urbanism that fit with local condition, base on sustainable urban settlementideology. By digging the social, economic, culture and character of settling in kampong, this canbe platform for the forming of new paradigm in Indonesia urban settlement planning anddesigning, to make the better quality of urban space. This goals can be reach with some basicprinciples for urban planning base on the existence of urban kampong

Abstract

Arsitektur / Bangunan hijau merupakan gerakan moral. Konsep green building yang telah dirumuskan dalam sistem rating oleh lembaga-lembaga hijau, telah menjadi bagian dari market/pasar dan tren bangunan yang dilatarbelakangi oleh kesadaran yang semakin tinggi dari warganya untuk mulai peduli dengan lingkungan. Konsep hijau bangunan dapat dikuantifikasikan berdasarkan pemeringkatan melalui beberapa macam kriteria yang dirumuskan oleh lembaga-lembaga rating green building, melalui proses sertifikasi hijau. Beberapa negara maju telah melaksanakan program ini yang pada perkembangannya diikuti oleh negara-negara lain termasuk Indonesia.Sertifikasi hijau pada bangunan di Indonesia sangat penting dilakukan mengingat perkembangan konstruksi khususnya bangunan gedung sudah semakin maju. Dengan proses sertifikasi hijau ini sebagai bagian dari bangunan hijau dunia, diharapkan pembangunan di Indonesia dapat selaras dengan lingkungan dengan minimnya dampak yang ditimbulkan baik oleh proses perancangan, konstruksi maupun rekonstruksinya.

Abstract

Terdapat beberapa macam pendekatan di dalam menata sebuah kawasan/tempat – dalam konteks perancangan kota (urban design) - termasuk dalam menata kampung kota, terkait dengan eksistensi ruang terbuka (jalur sirkulasi) yang merupakan ruang yang multiperan dalam menentukan kelayakan huni dalam kampung kota tersebut. Salah satu pendekatan tersebut adalah dengan mengkaji derajat keruangan – spatial enclosure – pada ruang terbukanya sebagai dasar penataan. Derajat keruangan memiliki pengaruh psikologis terhadap manusia yang berada di dalamnya, yang bermuara pada persepsi terhadap suatu tempat, termasuk kampung kota. Dengan mengkaji beberapa literatur terkait, maka dapat diketahui pentingnya spatial enclosure ini sebagai sebuah metode dalam menata sebuah tempat, khususnya pada tempat-tempat dengan eksistensi ruang terbuka yang kritis seperti pada kampung kota.

Abstract

Phisycal intervention in the planning process could be the ‘micro’ intervention, which mean thatthe pysical aspect of infilltration is the growth ‘catalyst’ of the area/environment. Catalyst is oneof the concept for revitalitation strategy in built area/environment. In the concept of urbancatalyst, architectural design could be the catalyst for area/environment planning and designingprocess. This concept give important point for revitalitation process, which mean ‘designarchitectural’ could be the catalyst for revitalitation. Kota Agung as the municipal of KabupatenTanggamus has a significant history as one of important place in South of Sumatra in colonialismera, which is also indicate by its location. This study take as design study with synoptic method asthe metodology of the study. From the analysis process, showed that public space, commercialcenter and beach/waterfront activity could be the catalyst for the growth of Kota Agung. Thisprocess also could reinforce the cultural aspect of the place. Those catalyst could be moresignificant with the forming of linkage system in the area/environment.

Abstract

Abstract: Arsitektur Nusantara is an architecture product that is highly responsive in overcoming climatic challenges, particularly in the archipelago's tropical environment. This becomes everyone's interest to understand and investigate this phenomenon from various points of view. The extensive migration over space and time to the tropical environment necessitates adaption measures as the fundamental impulses that shape the locality's culture of living. In an ecological viewpoint, the adaptation process of living things includes morphological, physiological, and behavioral adaptations, which are manifested in the results of human thought, including buildings to adapt to local conditions. This adaptive manifestation can also be seen in the traditional building products of the people of nusantara as a product of construction work towards their true values. The method used in this article is a literature review of nusantara architecture which will be compared with aspects of adaptation in the context of tropical ecology. The result show that the form of ecological adaptation is also seen in the shape of the building (structure), building elements (details and construction), the building material, and the attitude/position of the building on the site.

Abstract

Indonesia's urbanization issue ranks fourth in Southeast Asia. Urbanization correlates with a 1% increase in emissions for every 1% increase in the population. In the building sector, this trend will increase the demand for building construction, impacting building resources such as power plants (energy sector). The energy sector contributes the highest carbon emissions at 94.64%. This rise in carbon emissions can hinder the goal of reducing emissions by 29% by 2030. The Nearly Zero Emission Building (NZEB) approach is proposed as a solution for energy efficiency. The NZEB approach involves steps during the pre-construction phase using passive strategies and post-construction with active strategies through building operations to reduce building energy needs. This research uses a qualitative method based on three standards from three countries with different climates to review the implementation results. The analysis results show three strategies: passive strategies (orientation, natural lighting, and ventilation), active strategies (Building Management Systems (BMS), renewable energy use, and building materials), and alignment with Green Building to maximize this approach. In Indonesia, alignment with the Green Building Council Indonesia (GBCI) is necessary. GBCI has designed Greenship "Net Zero," focusing on assessments such as air quality, natural openings, and carbon emission reduction calculations. This will help quantitatively reduce carbon emissions in the building sector.

Abstract

Pemanasan global membawa dampak adanya gelombang panas yang berdampak padakenaikan suhu permukaan bumi menjadi lebih panas dari biasanya. Efek pemanasansuhu permukaan bumi, meskipun tidak dalam kondisi gelombang panas, akanmempengaruhi kondisi kenyamanan termal pada lingkungan disekitarnya. Kondisi iniakan sangat terasa pada kawasan perkotaan yang padat yang didominasi oleh elemenkeras (bangunan dan perkerasan). Pada ruang terbuka, panas sinar matahari dapatterpantul dari permukaan ruang terbuka, dan terserap ke dalam bangunan yangakhirnya meningkatkan suhu mikro bangunan. Penelitian ini menganalisis iklimmikro pada ruang terbuka hijau di kawasan Pusat Kota Metro. Studi ini bersifatkuantitatif dengan menggunakan bantuan analisis software Envi-met 5.1, dimana akandiketahui kondisi eksisting dari iklim mikro yakni, temperatur udara, kecepatan angin,dan kelembaban relatif. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa ruang terbuka hijau di kawasanPusat Kota Metro belum optimal dalam penciptaan kenyamanan iklim mikrokawasan.

Abstract

The building envelope, which serves as the boundary layer between the interior and exterior, plays a crucial role in regulating heat exchange. The shape of the building also impacts heat distribution and airflow within and around the structure. The orientation of the building, particularly in relation to the sun, determines how much solar radiation it receives, directly affecting the building's thermal load.Using Sefaira, a building performance simulation software, researchers can visualize and optimize these thermal aspects. This simulation allows them to experiment with various scenarios related to the building envelope, shape, and orientation to achieve ideal thermal conditions, which are not only comfortable for occupants but also energy-efficient.The findings of this research are expected to provide new insights into sustainable architectural design, especially in tropical regions like Lampung. By understanding and applying the correct thermal principles, buildings can be designed to minimize energy usage for cooling or heating, supporting efforts to reduce the impacts of climate change

Abstract

Urban village as a historic village has a high physical, social and cultural values that needs to be preserved. Kampung Negeri Olok Gading has been designated as a cultural and historical village by the Government of Bandar Lampung City, however it is constrainted by the development of the surrounding area. The purposes of this study are: (1) to know the pattern and variety of activities within the village as a creative village embryo; (2) to know the physical condition, functional condition and environmental condition of the kampung; (3) to formulate the physical arrangement strategy in transforming Kampung Negeri Olok Gading become Urban Creative Village. This research uses descriptive analysis methodology through empirical study to existing condition. Through empirical tracking of the physical elements of the area, it is known that there are significant changes to the condition of the urban village such as: the changing of land use and building, the changing of the building and the environment. The main strategy that can be applied to transform Kampung into the creative village is the integrated conservation of the area which include physical, social and cultural aspects

Abstract

Ruang Terbuka Hijau (RTH) di dalam kota merupakan elemen penting dalam membentuk ruang ketiga manusia. Data terakhir menunjukkan bahwa ruang terbuka hijau di Jakarta baru mencapai 5% dari 30% kebutuhan minimal ruang terbuka hijau yang dibutuhkan dari total luas wilayah. Hal ini disebabkan oleh permasalahan urbanisasi, kemacetan dan padatnya wilayah DKI Jakarta yang mendorong pertumbuhan yang tidak memperhatikan ruang hijau. Penelitian desain ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kondisi eksisting ruang terbuka hijau dalam kawasan Blok M dan memberikan solusi dalam optimalisasi ruang terbuka hijau di dalam kawasan kota. Metode penelitian ini adalah menggunakan metode analisis kualitatif dengan mengidentifikasi luasan ruang terbuka hijau di Jakarta sesuai dengan standar minimum kebutuhan ruang terbuka hijau di dalam kota. Selanjutnya, analisis kawasan Blok M dilakukan berdasarkan Panduan Rancang Kota (PRK) dan Rencana Detail Tata Ruang (RDTR) Kawasan Kebayoran Baru dalam mendukung visi dan misi menjadi kawasan pemugaran yang hijau dan dinamis. Hasil penelitian desain diselaraskan dengan visi dan misi kawasan untuk membentuk kawasan yang lebih hijau dengan meminimalkan KDB dan memaksimalkan KLB kawasan komersial di Kebayoran Baru. Dengan demikian, capaian target ruang terbuka hijau untuk DKI Jakarta dapat tercapai.
