Abstract

The postpartum period is a recovery phase after childbirth that is vulnerable to complications, including perineal wounds. Improper wound healing may increase infection risk and delay recovery. Aloe vera nanoemulsion-based gel contains anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties and enhances collagen production, potentially accelerating wound healing. This quasi-experimental study with a one-group pretest-posttest design involved 25 postpartum mothers with grade I and II perineal wounds at H. Syahruddin Clinic, Tanjung Balai. Data were analyzed using Paired Sample T-Test with a significance level of 95% (α=0.05). Results showed a significant improvement in perineal wound healing after intervention (p < 0.05). Conclusion: Aloe vera nanoemulsion gel significantly accelerates perineal wound healing in postpartum mothers.

Method: this type of research with a One Group Pretest-Posttest design. The population is 35 young women at the As Syifa Rural High School, sampling is done by Total Sampling with a total sample of 35 respondents. Data collection uses primary data with observation instruments. Statistical analysis using the Wilcoxon test. Results: data analysis obtained p = 0.003. This shows that there is an effect of giving red spinach pudding on increasing hemoglobin levels in female adolescents. Conclusion: there is an effect of red spinach pudding on increasing hemoglobin levels in female adolescents.

Abstract

Hypertension is a serious health problem, where hypertension is directly related to morbidity and mortality rates. Hypertension is also a chronic health condition that can cause medical complications and can affect the reproductive process of women, especially mothers of couples of childbearing age. Hypertension ranked third of the ten highest diseases in the Sei Kepayang Health Center Working Area. Objective: This research aims to determine the influence of family history and physical activity on the incidence of hypertension in mothers of couples of childbearing age (PUS) in the Sei Kepayang Community Health Center working area. Method: The type of research is analytical observational with a retrospective case-control study design. The population was all PUS mothers in the Sei Kepayang Community Health Center working area and the sample consisted of 68 cases and 68 controls. Sampling was taken using consecutive sampling. Analyzed univariately, bivariate using the chi-square test, and multivariate using the multiple logistic regression method. Results: The results of the study showed that lack of physical activity, p=0.004<0.05 (OR=3.081CI 95% 1.430 - 6.638), affected the incidence of hypertension, while family history did not affect the incidence of hypertension in the Sei Kepayang Health Center working area.  Conclusion: It is recommended that health workers at the Sei Kepayang Community Health Center focus more on providing education to the community to increase regular physical activity and also promote prolonged exercise as one of the government's programs for preventing non-communicable diseases.
