Abstract

Labor and birth, for many women, are the most thrilling aspects. Like the physical changes of pregnancy itself, understanding the processes involved helps reduce anxiety. A woman who is 9 months pregnant is ready to give birth, and to participate fully in the experience she must be aware of all the possibilities that exist. But each woman's experience is intrinsically personal and individual. Whether she gives birth at home or in a hospital and with or without drugs, with or without the presence of her partner or friends, she ultimately has to decide alone (Siwi, 2015). The term sectio caesarea comes from the Latin word caedere which means to cut. This definition was originally found in Roman Law (Lex Regia) and Emperor's law (Lex Caesarea), namely laws that require that fetuses in the wombs of mothers who die must be removed from the womb. So, Sectio Caesarea has nothing to do with Julius Caesarea (Mochtar, 2012). The design of this study is descriptive, namely to describe the factors that affect mothers with section cesarean deliveries at Setio Husodo Kisaran Hospital. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the majority of mothers gave birth with Sectio Casearea due to the mother's condition because of the previous history of Sectio Casearea, namely as many as 36 people (61%) and a minority because of Hypertension and Placenta Previa 1 person each (2%). Meanwhile, based on the condition of the fetus, the majority of mothers who gave birth by Sectio Caesarea were caused by the condition of the fetus because of the abnormal location, namely as many as As for suggestions that can be given to this problem, it is diligent to check the condition of the mother during pregnancy. The older the mother, the more vulnerable the mother is to give birth by section case area.
