Abstract

AbstractSelf-concept of X Akuntansistudents at SMK Panca Bhakti Sui Rayawere still unsatisfied. This research wasconductedto determine whether therewas an effect on students?self-concepts taught using concept mapping method of cooperative learningcompared toconventional learning model or not, and to determine effectsize of concept mapping method of cooperative learning towardstudents? self-concept. This research usedquasi experimental with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The research sample wasclass X Akuntansi. The data collection tool used is self-concept questionnaire consist 12 statement. Based on pre-questionnaire and post-questionnaire data analysis using the Linear Regression Analysis, the correlation coefficient obtained was 0.4478 and measured significant. The linear regression equation obtained was  means that the effect was linear and positive. The effect size was calculated from the determination coefficient (0.2005) so the method gave 20,05% effect to students? self-concept. Concept mapping method of cooperative learninggave1.79% effecttowardacademic confidence indicator and 1.12% toward academic effort indicator. Keywords:  Concept Mapping Method, Coperative Learning, Self-Concept

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the effectiveness of the application of the Problem Based Learning model accompanied by LKPD on the Linear Program material in the Taruna Bumi Khatulistiwa High School. The type of experimental design used in this study were pre-experimental design using one-shot case study as the form of the design. The aspect used to determine the effectiveness of learning using a cooperative model of probing-prompting type are the teacher’s teaching and learning management, student activities, responses, and learning outcomes. Data collection techniques used were measurement, observation, and indirect communication techniques. The data collection tool used was the teacher's observation observation sheet in managing learning, observation sheets of student activities, student response to the questionnaires, and student learning assessment results. The data were analyzed descriptively. The results obtained were the implementation of the teacher in managing learning is very good, the activities of students are classified as very active, the response of students is very positive and the completeness of student learning outcomes in a classical manner has been achieved. Because all effectiveness criteria are met, learning using the Problem Based Learning model accompanied by LKPD on linear program material in the Taruna Bumi Khatulistiwa High School is said to be effective. Keywords: Learning application, Problem Based Learning Model accompanied by LKPD, Linear Program Material.

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to describe student's procedural knowledge ability in solving the problem of linear equation system of two variables on the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 11 Pontianak. The research method used is descriptive and the form of research is survey. The Subject of this research was 33 students of eighth grade of VIII A class of SMP Negeri 11 Pontianak. Based on the result of the test and interview. The results in this research shows that student’s had fairly good procedural knowledge in solving the problem of linear equation system of two variables. The Student’s were able to choose the procedure/method that will be used to solve the problems of linear equation system of two variables based on what they understood, remembered and commonly used. On the aspect of applying the chosen procedure to solve the problem, students were able to apply the procedure of settlement well, only few students were doing mistaken in the calculation.Keywords: Procedural Knowledge, Completing Problem, Solving System  of Equations                          In Two VariableÂ
