Abstract

This research aims to identify and anticipate the dominant types of defects, so that the root causes can be analyzed and corrective actions can be proposed based on statistical quality control. The production of T‑bolt clamps at PT XYZ in 2025 revealed significant fluctuations in product quality, with an average defect rate of 2.54% from a total of 360,706 units manufactured. The peak defect rate occurred in July, reaching 4.8%, indicating systemic issues in the manufacturing process. This study aims to identify the dominant defect types, analyze their root causes, and propose corrective actions based on statistical quality control. The Seven Tools of Quality—Check Sheet, Pareto Chart, Fishbone Diagram, Histogram, Control Chart, Scatter Diagram, and Stratification—were applied to systematically evaluate production data. Results show that Dimensional Deformation was the most critical defect, accounting for 43.25% of total defects. The Fishbone Diagram revealed contributing factors across human, machine, material, method, measurement, and environmental categories. Histogram and Control Chart analyses indicated that the process was generally stable, though several periods exhibited special cause variation. The Scatter Diagram demonstrated a positive correlation (r =0.68) between workplace temperature and defect occurrence, while Stratification confirmed that Machine B produced significantly more defects than Machine A ( p<0.05).In conclusion, dimensional defects are primarily influenced by environmental conditions and machine performance. Recommended improvements include workplace temperature control, regular machine calibration, operator training, and continuous monitoring through statistical process control. These measures are expected to reduce defect rates below 3% and enhance long‑term production stability.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the legal framework of Alternatives to Detention (AtD) in the international immigration system and compare it with the immigration detention system in Indonesia. Furthermore, this study also aims to formulate a legal reconstruction model for AtD that is suitable for application in the Indonesian immigration detention system, taking into account the juridical, institutional, and socio-cultural aspects. The research method used is normative-doctrinal legal research, with a legislative, conceptual, comparative, and case-based approach. Data were collected through documentation studies, interviews with relevant stakeholders, and case studies of the implementation of AtD in other countries such as Australia, Belgium, Canada, and Thailand. The data analysis techniques used are qualitative and comparative analysis to evaluate Indonesia's immigration detention policy and the opportunities and challenges of AtD implementation. The results of the study indicate that although Indonesia has adopted several international principles related to human rights, the application of AtD in the Indonesian immigration system is still very limited. This study recommends regulatory changes, institutional strengthening, and public education to create acceptance for refugees and immigrants. A more comprehensive implementation of AtD can improve the immigration system to be more humane, effective, and in line with international standards.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze detention practices regarding foreign nationals (WNA) in the case of a forged visa used by Ruhilul Amin, a Bangladeshi national who entered Indonesia using documents inconsistent with immigration databases; the discrepancy was only detected when he applied for a residence permit extension at the Class I Special Immigration Office (TPI) in Semarang. Findings indicate that multi-layered administrative checks—including visa code verification, document metadata analysis, and biometric screening—served as the primary mechanisms for identifying data mismatches that pointed to suspected document forgery. The study also highlights the pivotal role of "Operation Jagratara Phase II" in identifying RA as the sole violator subjected to *pro justicia* proceedings, with detention utilized as an administrative instrument to ensure the continuity of the investigation in accordance with Law Number 6 of 2011 concerning Immigration. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach and the theoretical framework of Global Governance, the study concludes that immigration law enforcement relies on the integration of digital checks, field operations, and detention authority; it further emphasizes the need to strengthen data-based verification systems to minimize opportunities for document forgery within modern migration systems.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how the integration of the Immigration Administration Information System and the information system of the Indonesian National Police can improve service quality. The increasing intensity of human activities and cross-border mobility requires the state to ensure immigration services are fast and precise. These services are also expected to be accurate and secure to support supervision when dealing with immigration-related risks. This study was initially conducted based on the finding that inter-agency coordination remains suboptimal and that the existing regulations are not yet sufficiently appropriate. Therefore, the study employed a qualitative approach using a literature review method based on 15 scientific articles. The data were analyzed through content and thematic analysis before the final conclusions were drawn. The findings show that the proper integration of immigration and police information systems can improve inspection accuracy and strengthen service coordination. The analysis also confirms that successful integration does not depend solely on technology, but also requires attention to several elements, including appropriate regulations and the accuracy of officers in carrying out their duties. In addition, cybersecurity measures are needed to prevent data breaches and unauthorized access. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that information system integration is a strategic step toward achieving immigration services that are more effective, efficient, and accountable.
