Abstract

Abstrak Singkong merupakan jenis tumbuhan yang sering dikonsumsi oleh masyarakat di Indonesia. Dengan perkembangan jaman hingga saat ini, olahan dari singkong semakin banyak. Salah satunya yaitu olahan keripik singkong. Pada umumnya desain dari pemotong singkong hanya dapat memotong 1 singkong, dimana cara pemotongan singkong pada mesin pemotong singkong tersebut masih manual yaitu  dengan cara didorong dengan tangan. Melihat permasalahan tersebut sehingga penulis ingin mendesain ulang mesin pemotong singkong yang dapat memotong lebih dari 1 singkong secara bersamaan dan proses mendorong singkong tersebut dengan menggunakan pegas. Tujuan dari perancangan mesin ini yaitu menghasilkan desain mesin dan menentukan alat dan komponen ideal yang akan  digunakan untuk membuat mesin pemotong singkong multi input semi otomatis dengan pendorong pegas. Tahapan dalam perancangan mesin pemotong singkong multi input dengan pendorong pegas ini terdiri dari ide perancangan, pengumpulan data dan bahan, perancangan desain, perhitungan komponen, perakitan, pengujian dan analisa mesin. Hasil perhitungan mesin pemotong singkong multi input dengan pendorong pegas ini menunjukkan spesifikasi mesin yaitu kapasitas pemotongan 63000 irisan singkong/jam. Penggerak mesin yang digunakan ialah Motor Listrik 1 HP dan 1400 RPM. Rangka menggunakan besi siku ukuran 50 mm x 50 mm x 5. Perbandingan diameter puli menghasilkan kecepatan putaran mesin 262,5 RPM. Transmisi menggunakan sabuk-V tipe A dengan panjang keliling sabuk 79 inch. Jarak antar poros motor dan poros piringan pisau 609 mm. Poros berbahan ST 42 dengan diameter 35 mm. Bantalan menggunakan bantalan bola 6207. Kata Kunci: Rancang Bangun, Mesin Pemotong singkong, Multi input, Pendorong pegas.

Abstract

Upaya penghematan energi merupakan suatu yang harus didukung oleh seluruh lapisan masyarakat khususnya dimulai oleh setiap instrument dalam anggota rumah tangga. Para pengamat dan pakar energi menyatakan bahwa kontribusi sektor domestik atau rumah tangga dalam program penghematan konsumsi energi listrik cukup signifikan karena persentase jumlah pelanggan rumah tangga yang relatif tinggi. Penelitian ini menganalisis tentang potensi persentase penghematan energi listrik sektor rumah tangga terhadap penghematan listrik dalam kurun waktu perhari bahkan pertahun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa energi listrik yang biasa digunakan pada rumah tangga masih memiliki potensi untuk dilakukan penghematan tanpa mengurangi produktivitas dari sebuah rumah tangga. Perangkat listrik yang sering digunakan pada rumah tangga dan memiliki potensi penghematan yang besar adalah alat pendingin ruangan (AC) dan kulkas. Bila setiap pelanggan rumah tangga melakukan penghematan konsumsi energi listriknya sebesar 10%, maka pasokan listrik yang dapat dihemat adalah sekitar 6.382 watt/minggu atau sama dengan 331. 864 watt/tahun. Upaya ini tentunya akan membantu pemerintah dalam pemerataan penyaluran setiap anggota rumah tangga di seluruh Indonesia

Abstract

This research aims to explore the development of a Discord server as a platform for implementing a blended learning model in the context of 100-meter athletic run training among Class VII students at SMP Negeri 2 Rejang Lebong. The research involved designing and implementing various learning activities on the Discord server, including video tutorials on athletic techniques, live streaming of expert demonstrations, interactive quizzes, and discussion forums for student collaboration and feedback. The server also served as a platform for teachers to provide timely guidance and personalized support to students. Data collection involved pre- and post-intervention assessments, as well as surveys and interviews to gather student feedback on their experiences with the Discord server. The results indicated a positive impact of the blended learning model on student engagement, motivation, and performance in the 100-meter athletic run. Students appreciated the flexibility and interactive nature of the online platform, which allowed them to review instructional videos at their own pace and seek clarifications from both peers and teachers. This research contributes to the growing body of literature on the effective integration of digital technologies in physical education, specifically in the context of 100-meter athletic run training. The findings highlight the potential of the Discord server as a versatile tool for creating a collaborative and interactive learning environment, fostering student-centered learning, and promoting physical activity engagement.

Abstract

Podcasts, which consist of digital audio files, gains immense popularity as a technical resource for language acquisition, particularly among English language learners. The podcasts are attractive due to their flexibility, enabling learners to access language learning resources anytime and anywhere. This study was a-library research, comprising two categories of data. The primary data was sourced from a book entitled “Academic Podcasting and Mobile Assisted Language Learning" edited by Betty Rose Facer and Mohammed Abdoes, published in 2010. The secondary data were gathered from journal articles, seminar proceedings, and undergraduate’s thesis published from 2015 to 2023. The findings indicated that podcasts could serve as a valuable resource for boosting English language skills, especially listening skills. Whilst, factors affecting the effectiveness of using podcast in teaching listening skills were students’ motivation, accessibility to authentic materials, individual differences, teachers’ digital gap, and internet connectivity. Podcast provides some benefits when used in teaching listening skills. Podcasting utilizes authentic materials that can aid in the development of both receptive and productive language skills. It introduces the essence of language into the classroom, providing students with diverse forms of language input that can potentially improve their language proficiency. The podcast platform is user-friendly and easy to navigate. It encourages learners to take charge of their own learning, boosts their engagement and cognitive strategies, which in turn promote their ability to self-regulate during their studies, enhances critical thinking skills, offers extensive opportunities for collaborative and group learning, and increases their motivation to learn.
