Abstract

This research aims to investigate the influence of problem-based learning on creative thinking, the influence of discovery learning to creative thinking, and the simultaneous influence of problem-based learning and discovery learning to creative thinking. This research is explanatory with the processing and discussion of data using quantitative analysis technique. This research will be conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Rote Barat Daya, which is located in Oetefu Hamlet, Rote Barat Daya District, Rote Ndao Regency, East Nusa Tenggara province. The respondents involved in this study amounted to 88 high school students. The questionnaire used was adapted from a problem-based learning environment, inventory discovery of learning, and Torrance test of Creative Thinking (TTCT). The results showed that problem-based learning has no significant influence on creative thinking, discovery Learning has a positive and significant influence on creative thinking, and simultaneous testing of problem-based learning and discovery learning has no significant influence on the creative thinking of SMA Negeri 1 Rote Barat Daya.

Abstract

The biomotor component is an important factor for an athlete, especially athletes from the Perisai Diri martial arts school, to achieve achievements in a competition. Agility, Speed, Flexibility and Balance are four biomotor components that are very dominantly used in the training process and are often used by martial art athletes in competitions. The aim of this research was to find out shuttle run, zigzag run, and formation of 8 training method influence agility, speed, flexibility, and balance in pencak silat athletes. This research is quantitative research, with a quasi-experimental design of three balanced treatments. The sample in this research was 45 athetes from the 80 total athletes in population that selected by purposive sampling, devided in 3 groups, each group consisting of 15 athletes. Agility, speed, balance, and flexibility obtained with a valid and reliable instrument. The data analysis used in this research is the Wilcoxon test and the Kruskal Wallis test. To measure improvement using different means. The standard significance of sat is p=0.05 (5%). The results of the research prove that there is a significant comparison between shuttle running, zigzag running, zigzag running with a combination of 8 numbers, for agility and speed (p0.05), shuttle running is useful for improving balance and speed, zig-zag running is useful for improve dexterity and zigzag combines 8 figures which are useful for increasing flexibility. It can be concluded that there were significant differences between alternating training, zigzag running, and figure 8 formation running, especially in agility and speed. The back and forth running training method is useful for increasing balance and speed, the zigzag running training method is useful for increasing agility, and the figure 8 formation running method is useful for increasing flexibility.

Abstract

The training model in improving a pencak silat athlete's abilities is an important factor, because an inappropriate training model will have a bad impact on the technique being trained. For example, the training model given to the fighters is not varied or is interpreted as a monotonous training method, this has a direct impact on the fighters, for example they are lazy about training and do not experience changes. The aim of this research was to determine the effect of plyometric training on the speed of T kicks in silat martial arts at the 1945 Teachers' Association University, East Nusa Tenggara. In this research, researchers used a one-group pre-test and post-test design with a quantitative experimental method approach. The number of samples in this study was 20 martial artists. Data collection techniques in this research used tests and non-tests. Non-tests include observation, interviews and documentation, then the test method uses two plyomteric training methods. The data analysis technique in this research uses the t-test analysis system. The results of this research prove that based on the results of the calculation of the data in this study, it shows that there is a change in the speed of the T kick in the fighters. With the posttest results, if you look at the pre-test average, it is 21.93 and the post-test value is 23.86%. Based on these results, it was stated that there was an influence of plyometric training, the form of training of which was squat split jump and stride jump crossover, the speed of Pencak Silat T kicks. Based on the categorization of the final test results, the speed of Pencak Silat T kicks performed by the silat fighters was in the Good category.

Abstract

The study aimed to know the influence of brain gymnastics on the concentration of learning and to know the difference between the study concentration of intervention groups (brain gymnastics) with the control group (conventional). This research uses the design of quasi-experiment design. The population in this study is a class XII IPA student at SMA Negeri 6 Kupang, amounting to 65 students. The sample is extracted based on the formula n = 15% x N (n = 15% x 65 = 9.75, and rounded to 10). So, the samples in this study numbered 10 students for the experimental group, and 10 for the control group. While the sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The method of data collection used in this study is waning, observation, and questionnaire. The questionnaire used for a learning concentration variable is the Army alpha. The first hypothesis test results showed that there was a brain gymnastics influence on the concentration of student learning, while the second hypothesis test results showed that there was a difference between the study concentration of interventional groups (brain gymnastics) with the control group (conventional).

Abstract

Penelitian ini difokuskan pada guru penjas dalam mengembangkan ekstrakurikuler dan bertujuan untuk memecah rumusan masalah yang diangkat yaitu: apakah ada perkembangan minat dan baka siswa dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler bulu tangkis di SMP Kristen 4 Amanatun Selatan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah Untuk mengetahui bagaimana upaya guru penjas dalam mengembangkan ekstrakulikuler bulu tangkis di SMP Kristen 4 Amanatun Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, penelitian ini dilakukan selama 1 bulan dan pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini penulis menggunakan teknik analisis data deskriptif kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah diperoleh maka peneliti dapat menarik beberapa kesimpulan sebagai berikut: 1) Kemampuan kerja guru penjas dalam memberi arahan baik dalam roses kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, guru sangat menentukan keberhasilan peserta didik, terutama dalam kaitannya dalam proses kegiatan ektrakurikuler, 2) Ada program latihan yang dibuat oleh guru penjas SMP Kristen 4 Amanatun Selatan, 3) Sarana dan prasarana di SMP Kristen 4 Amanatun Selatan sangat memadai dan menunjang terlaksanannya program latihan ektrakurikuler bulu tangkis dan 4) Ada hambatan dan permasalahan dalam upaya melaksanakan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler bulu tangkis yaitu SDM, sarana dan prasarana yang belum lengkap dan tingkat kepedulian orang tua, masyarakat dan pendidik masih rendah.
