The research design used was quasi experimental nonequivalent control group design. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling with a total sample of 26 respondents. Bivariate analysis used was paired sample t-test and independent sample t-test. The results showed there was a decrease in labor pain after endorphin massage techniques and deep breathing relaxation techniques with a p-value of 0,000 ? <0.05. Abstract

Anemia is a condition in which the hemoglobin level in the blood is below normal. During pregnancy, the need for iron and other nutrients increases significantly to support fetal growth and physiological changes in the mother. Therefore, pregnant women are very susceptible to anemia if nutritional intake is insufficient or there is impaired nutrient absorption. The prevalence of anemia in pregnant women is quite high in various regions, and this condition can have serious impacts on the health of the mother and fetus. Anemia can increase the risk of pregnancy complications such as premature birth, low birth weight, and maternal and neonatal death. In addition, anemia can also cause fatigue, decreased immunity, and impaired cognitive development in children after birth. To determine the relationship between nutritional status (BMI and LILA) and anemia in pregnant women. Quantitative research design with analytical survey with a cross-sectional approach, a population of 34 people with a sample of 34 people or total sampling. The results of the study showed that most BMI was in the abnormal category of 25 people with a P value of 0.033 <0.05 and LILA was in the category of £ 23.5 cm of 28 people with a P value of 0.021 <0.05. There is a relationship between nutritional status of BMI and LILA with anemia in pregnant women in the working area of the Gorontalo Regency Health Center.

Abstract

Introduction: Low back pain (LBP) during pregnancy can interfere with physical activity, sleep patterns, and quality of life. One safe and effective therapy to relieve it is prenatal gentle yoga. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of prenatal gentle yoga on the level of LBP in pregnant women at Hulonthalangi Health Center. The research design used quasi-experiment with pretest-posttest control group. A total of 24 pregnant women were divided into two groups, those are intervention (prenatal gentle yoga) and control (educational leaflet). The prenatal gentle yoga intervention was carried out over four sessions, with a frequency of twice a week, and each session lasted for 30 to 45 minutes.Test results of independent t-test showed an average difference in pain of -2.83 points with a p-value of 0.000 (p<0.05), which means there was a significant decrease in pain in the intervention group. Around 83.3% respondents in the intervention group experienced a decrease in pain from moderate and severe pain to mild and no pain, while the control group only had 33.3%. This study shows that prenatal gentle yoga is significantly effective in reducing Low back pain (LBP) in pregnant women.

Abstract

Developmental stimulation refers to a series of activities aimed at promoting optimal growth and development in children. One of the factors influencing the success of child growth and development is the knowledge and ability of parents to detect early signs of development.  This research aimed to determine the effect of developmental stimulation education on the early detection of developmental milestones in children aged 0-5 years. The research method was a pre-experimental design using a pretest-posttest one group design approach. The subjects included 73 samples, with 17 samples aged 0-12 months, 18 samples aged 12-36 months, and 38 samples aged 36-30 months. Early detection ability was measured before and after education using the KPSP questionnaire as a reference. The results indicated that in the 0-12 month age group, there was a significant increase in early detection ability after receiving education (p1 = 0.001, p < 0.05). In the 12-36 month age group, a significant improvement was also observed (p2 = 0.001, p < 0.05), while the 36-60 month age group showed an increase after education (p3 = 0.001, p < 0.05). this study concluded that there was a significant effect of developmental stimulation education on the early detection ability of parents for children aged 0-5 years.

Abstract

Stunting defined as impaired linear growth resulting in a child’s height falling below the age-appropriate standard, remains a pressing global health concern due to its long-term implications on development and increased risk of mortality. In Gorontalo Province, Indonesia, the prevalence of stunting exceeds the national target of 23.8%, with North Gorontalo Regency reporting the highest rate at 29.3%. This study aimed to examine the effect of toddler massage on weight gain among stunted children. A quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group approach was employed, involving 32 stunted toddlers selected through purposive sampling. Participants were equally allocated into an intervention group (n=16), which received toddler massage based on standard operating procedures, and a control group (n=16), which did not receive the intervention. Body weight was measured using digital scales. The results of the paired t-test revealed a statistically significant weight gain in the intervention group (p = 0.00), whereas no significant difference was observed in the control group (p = 0.164). The findings indicate that toddler massage may contribute to weight improvement in stunted children and could be considered a supportive non-pharmacological intervention in stunting management programs.
