Abstract

This study discusses the optimization of bandwidth usage in the computer network of Heteroku Computer Bali by implementing the Simple Queue method on a Mikrotik Routerboard device. The main issue identified was the unequal distribution of bandwidth, which resulted in decreased network connection quality. The purpose of this study was to implement the Simple Queue method to optimize bandwidth usage and to analyze its impact on network stability. The research followed the stages of the Network Development Life Cycle, including analysis, design, simulation, implementation, and monitoring. Configuration was carried out by limiting Ether1 to Ether5 to 100 Mbps each. The test results showed an improvement in fair bandwidth distribution and more stable network connectivity. Thus, the implementation of the Simple Queue method successfully addressed the issue of bandwidth distribution and improved the overall network performance in the study environment.

Abstract

Candi Tebing Gunung Kawi merupakan cagar budaya di Bali yang memiliki kondisi arsitektur yang unik. Objek wisata ini dibangun sekitar abad ke-11 Masehi dan telah mengalami berbagai kerusakan seperti pecah, retak hingga aus. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendokumentasikan Candi Tebing Gunung Kawi untuk melakukan konservasi terhadap keaslian kondisi candi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah melalui pendokumentasian menggunakan platform video 360 yang memiliki tingkat interaktif yang lebih baik daripada video konvensional. Penelitian ini menggunakan model 4D dengan subjek adalah Candi Tebing Gunung Kawi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah video 360 yang mendokumentasikan Candi Tebing Gunung Kawi. Dari 152 responden berdasarkan kuesioner menujukkan video ini memiliki rata-rata tingkat kepuasan sebesar 4,01 dari skala 5 dalam kategori baik. Video telah diupload pada kanal youtube yang dapat dinikmati pada tampilan web ataupun tampilan mobile yang dapat dinikmati dengan lebih baik menggunakan google cardboard dengan fitur gyroscope yang dimiliki pada smartphone. Berdasarkan kuesioner yang telah dilakukan, tingkat kepuasan rata-rata mencapai kategori baik dengan penilaian pada aspek tampilan, konten dan teknis pada video 360 yang dihasilkan.

Abstract

Community Service Program (KKN) is a concrete implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, particularly in the field of community service. Through KKN activities, students are expected to be able to apply the knowledge and skills acquired during lectures to provide solutions to real problems in the community. KKN Group 1 of the Indonesian Hindu University was implemented in Ubung Village, North Denpasar District, from August to September 2025. This program emphasized increasing public awareness of environmental cleanliness, waste management, community empowerment through women's farmer group (KWT) activities, and character education in elementary schools. The main activities carried out included the creation and installation of waste education signs, stop bullying socialization, diligent savings socialization, making retrace bins from recycled waste, making bio pore holes, and providing eco-bags to residents as a medium for managing household waste. The implementation of activities was carried out with a participatory approach, involving the community, village officials, and educational institutions. The results of the activities showed an increase in community participation in cleaning activities, increased awareness of household waste management, and the growth of a spirit of mutual cooperation and social awareness in the Ubung community.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology, particularly in the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), provides significant opportunities for preserving cultural heritage. One example is the palaces in the Denpasar City and Badung Regency areas, which have high historical and cultural value, but their existence is increasingly threatened by urban development and the lack of available information. This study aims to map the distribution of palaces using web-based GIS as an effort to preserve and disseminate information to the wider public. The system was developed using the ADDIE method, which includes the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The system was built with Laravel 11, PHP 8.2, a MySQL database, and uses the Leaflet.js interactive map. The result of this study is a palace mapping website that allows the public to access location information and the history of palaces interactively without having to log in, and provides data management rights for admins. The system's main features include an admin dashboard, palace data management, interactive maps, location search, and integration with Google Maps. The testing phase was carried out using the Black Box method to describe the system's performance according to the designed functionality. This research is projected to support the preservation of the palace as a Balinese cultural heritage and become a reference in the documentation of other cultural sites.

Abstract

Bali is one of the provinces in Indonesia that possesses a unique and diverse cultural heritage across its regions. This culture serves as a vital asset for tourism and national identity. However, amidst modernization and globalization, cultural preservation faces significant challenges. Pupuan District, as part of Tabanan Regency, has a variety of arts and rituals that need to be systematically documented to prevent them from being forgotten. This study aims to develop a web-based Geographic Information System (GIS) to inventory the arts and rituals in Pupuan District, Tabanan. The research utilizes the ADDIE method, which consists of five stages: Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The system is developed using the Laravel 11 framework, PHP 8.2, and Leaflet for interactive mapping, with MySQL as the database to store cultural information. The research findings indicate that this system facilitates stakeholders in accessing cultural information through a website equipped with interactive features. The system testing was conducted using the blackboxtesting method, and the results showed that the system operates optimally according to user requirements.
