Abstract

Abstract

This research develops a model with seven compartments SEIQDHR for the spread of COVID-19, with detected and treated individual behavior changes affecting disease transmission. The Next Generation Matrix is used to analyze local and global stability and to calculate the basic reproduction number. Then, the analysis of disease-free equilibrium and endemic equilibrium. Stability analysis shows that the equilibrium point is locally asymptotically stable when the basic reproduction number is less than one and globally asymptotically stable when it is greater than one. The results of the sensitivity analysis show that the transmission rate, the progression rate from exposure, and the detection rate are parameters that significantly influence the dynamics of disease spread. Numerical simulations were used to validate the analysis results and identify key parameters that contribute most to the spread of the disease among affected, infected, quarantined, diagnosed, and hospitalized individuals.

Abstract

Students' need for efficiency in writing scientific papers is increasingly urgent, along with the increasing academic demands and complexity of research in various fields. Amidst busy schedules, students are often faced with the pressure to produce high-quality work in a limited amount of time. This prompts the search for solutions that can help them better manage their time and resources. The use of writing tools, such as reference management software and sophisticated word processing applications, has become increasingly common to improve productivity. In addition, an in-depth understanding of research methodologies and effective writing techniques has also become crucial to meet the set academic standards. Thus, efficiency in scientific writing is not only a practical necessity but also an important part of academic skill development that will support students' future success. This service focuses on developing e-modules for the use of AI (Artificial Intelligence) in writing scientific papers for students of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education study program. Through the implementation of workshops and the creation of e-modules, it is expected that students will better understand digital literacy as an effort to support academics. This program is designed by combining a systematic approach, starting from coordination with mentors, planning activities, and implementation and evaluation.

Abstract

The low participation of students in the Student Creativity Program (PKM) is due to a lack of understanding and experience in proposal writing, even though PKM is a crucial platform for developing students' academic and non-academic potential. This community service program was initiated to enhance the capacity of students from the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program (PBSI) at Universitas Pattimura to compete at the national PKM level. The method involved socialization, technical training, intensive mentoring, and proposal evaluation. Evaluation was based on active student participation in each stage and the quality of proposals produced, with success indicators including the number of groups formed, improved conceptual understanding, and proposal readiness according to national standards. The results showed a 100% increase in participation—from zero to four student groups submitting proposals, consisting of one PKM-AI group and three PKM-RSH groups. The quality of proposals also improved in terms of structure, originality, and feasibility. Sustainability strategies included establishing the PBSI PKM Community and involving alumni as active mentors. This program demonstrated that a structured training and mentoring approach can significantly enhance student preparedness in PKM competitions
