Abstract

These article explores the question of how literary texts can be didactizised in foreign language classroom. Based on the hypothesis that the students are still shy and reserved despite the sufficient knowledge of German, the main goal of this research ist an attempt to make the learners speak. Scenic interpretation, whose term originated from the scenic play, was concepted by Scheller (1996) in order to give literature back its meaning when he noticed the students showed a distance to foreign literary texts. This method connected the theater pedagogy with the teaching of German as a foreign language, in which two central orientations can be distinguished, namely process orientation and product orientation. In the field of foreign language acquisition, this method serves to improve oral communication skills and thus a process-oriented orientation is pursued. If one considers scenic interpretation as a methodological approach in German teaching, teaching with the means of theater is part of an action-oriented teaching, in which the students are in the center, because they themselves are active and the teacher gets more the tasks as an organizer of the learning process. The selected corpus of this research ist “Linie 1”, a musical revue by Ludwig (2007), in which Berlin dialect can be often be heard as one of the signs of authentic conversation in the scenes of subway. Not only from hearing, but also from seeing, learners get input from this musical performance, through which it is assumed that it is easier for them to imagine the spaces, the situation, the relationship and the images to interpret the texts. In order to make the students aware of the contrastive considerations, questionnaires are distributed to them, in which a few questions are asked according to the learner´s sensations. Furthermore, these literary texts are didactizised using the Four Strands model developed by Paul Nation (2007). The preliminary result of this research can be said, that after one semester sessions, the students speak more fluently because they are familiarized with the text and therefore they have more self-confidence.

Abstract

Persoalan perempuan yang berkaitan dengan alat reproduksi selalu menarik untuk dibicarakan, karena pada tahap awal seorang perempuan mengalami menstruasi banyak persoalan muncul yang berkaitan dengan pengetahuan tentang mentruasi dan hal-hal yang berhubungan dengan kebersihan dan kesehatan. Kegiatan penyuluhan ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan pengetahuan tentang menarche, menstruasi, pramenstrual syndrome, serta kebersihan dan kesehatan pada saat menstruasi, kepada siswa-siswi tingkat sekolah dasar. Dengan menggunakan metode pendidikan masyarakat diperoleh hasil yang menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan siswa mengenai kesehatan dan kebersihan menstruasi.

Abstract

Introduksi perilaku hidup sehat melalui budi daya kacang koro pedang dalam pembuatan tempe dilakukan di desa Bugel kecamatan Tomo kabupaten Sumedang. Kegiatan budi daya kacang koro pedang putih belum pernah diperkenalkan di desa ini. Kacang koro pedang putih adalah tanaman legum (kacang-kacangan) dengan berbagai keunggulan, antara lain ketahanan terhadap lingkungan, dapat ditanam di tanah-tanah marjinal, perawatan selama pertumbuhannya relatif mudah, sederhana, dan murah, tingkat produktivitas tinggi (1-5 ton/hektar), serta memiliki kandungan protein yang mendekati kandungan protein kacang kedelai, bahkan setelah difermentasi kandungan protein dalam kacang koro pedang putih menjadi lebih tinggi dari protein kacang kedelai. Introduksi budi daya kacang koro pedang putih ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan perilaku hidup sehat masyarakat di desa Bugel kecamatan Tomo Kabupaten Sumedang dengan mengkonsumsi tempe berbahan baku kacang koro pedang putih. Dalam kegiatan ini akan dilakukan beberapa tahapan metode. Tahap kesatu merupakan langkah persiapan serta observasi. Pada tahapan selanjutnya diberikan edukasi melalui metode ceramah dan diskusi. Pengevaluasian akan dilakukan pada tahapan terakhir. Sesi persiapan mencakup persiapan bahan baku dan peralatan pembuatan tempe kacang koro pedang putih. Pencapaian hasil kegiatan berupa pengayaan secara keilmuan, serta pengetahuan dalam teori maupun praktik kaum ibu rumah tangga dalam memperoleh sumber protein nabati untuk kesehatan keluarga secara mudah dan murah, serta dapat meningkatkan perekonomi keluarga.

Abstract

T This study focuses on podcasts as a medium for enhancing speaking competence in German as a Foreign Language (DaF) instruction. In contrast to existing research, this study emphasizes student-created podcasts and their didactic potential in higher education contexts. The key research questions explore how podcasts can be integrated into the classroom, how project-based learning through podcasts supports language acquisition, and how their use affects speaking proficiency. The study is conducted with German language students at UNJ and UNPAD at the B2 proficiency level. Initial survey results indicate that the use of podcasts increases students' motivation to learn German. Furthermore, findings suggest that creating their own podcasts not only improves students' linguistic abilities but also fosters 21st-century skills, including learning and innovation competencies as well as media, information, and technology literacy—skills that align with Indonesia’s educational goals.  The study's findings aim to provide German language instructors with further insights and practical ideas on how podcasts can be effectively implemented in DaF instruction to better meet the needs of today's learners.

Abstract

This study aims to elaborate the representation of human facts, collective subjects, and worldviews on the surrounding environment depicted in the short story entitled Sebatang Pohon di Luar Desa by Seno Gumira Ajidarma using genetic structuralism and literary sociology approaches. A relevance as an analysis of Goldmann's literary sociology by collecting data sources from the short story Sebatang Pohon di Luar Desa by Seno Gumira Ajidarma. The method in this study is qualitative descriptive with a literary sociology approach. Data was obtained through literature review techniques by reading a short story entitled Sebatang Pohon di Luar Desa as a whole. Data analysis techniques by means of the validity of data obtained from reading sources such as books, journals accompanied by theory triangulation. The results of research from the analysis of the short story Sebatang Pohon di Luar Desa are elaborating on humanitarian facts that are collective subjects and worldviews in recording historical events in realizing independence which are represented very strongly and thick with historical meaning in Timor Timur (now is Timor Leste) at a certain period of time. This research also shows that Seno's short stories do not merely record social realities in life, but also form a critique of symbolic violence and the process of alienation in modern society. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengelaborasi representasi fakta kemanusiaan, subjek kolektif, dan pandangan dunia terhadap lingkungan sekitar yang digambarkan di dalam cerpen yang berjudul Sebatang Pohon di Luar Desa karya Seno Gumira Ajidarma dengan menggunakan pendekatan strukturalisme genetik dan sosiologi sastra. Suatu relevansi sebagai analisis sosiologi sastra Goldmann dengan cara mengumpulkan sumber-sumber data dari cerpen Sebatang Pohon di Luar Desa karya Seno Gumira Ajidarma. Metode dalam penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan sosiologi sastra. Data diperoleh melalui teknik kajian kepustakaan dengan cara membaca cerpen yang berjudul Sebatang Pohon di Luar Desa secara utuh dan keseluruhan. Teknik analisis data dengan cara keabsahan data yang diperoleh dari sumber bacaan seperti buku, jurnal-jurnal disertai triangulasi teori. Hasil penelitian dari analisis cerpen Sebatang Pohon di Luar Desa ini yaitu mengelaborasi fakta kemanusiaan yang bersifat subjek kolektif dan pandangan dunia dalam merekam peristiwa sejarah dalam mewujudkan kemerdekaan yang direpresentasikan dengan sangat kuat dan kental dengan makna historis di Timor Timur (sekarang Timor Leste) pada kurun waktu tertentu. Penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa cerpen Seno tidak sekadar merekam realitas sosial dalam kehidupan, tetapi juga membentuk kritik terhadap kekerasan simbolik dan proses alienasi dalam masyarakat modern.
