Abstract

Abstract :One of the efforts that individual is able to practice and identifythemselves with all the existing potential so that they can take necessary action for selfimprovement and their position in the surrounding environment is by studying thepersonality and also learn about the various types of human personality.Therefore, researcher found it necessary to develop a material about Personality Typeby Hans J. Eysenck which is expected to be used by teacher's guidance andcounselling to be teached to their students. This material was compiled using themethod of Research and Development (R&D). The purpose of this research is 1)Compile the material about Personality Type by Hans J. Eysenck in terms of clarity,systematics, images, games, videos, latest and completeness of material. 2) To findout about result quality of the material that have been produce before. This materialis validated by supervising lecturer 1& 2, teacher of guidance and counseling and38 Students SMA Negeri 2 Pekanbaru. This material are teached to the students in 4 x45 minutes of study time. This material consist of definition of personality by Hans J.Eysenck, classification of personality types by Eysenck, difference traits, attitudes andactions, social interaction, internet usage, social network, also individual learningstyles of extrovert and introvert types. The result of this material development shows thequality of material produced is in a “Very Good” category, with acquisition of ascore is 4,4 for all aspects of research assessment.Keywords: Personality Type by Hans J. Abstract

Abstract: The objectives of this study are 1) to get the description about personal problem experienced male and female students 2) to get the description about emotional problems experienced by male and female students, 3) to get the information about learning problems experienced by male and female students, 4) to get the information about family problems experienced by male and female students, 5) to get the information about social problem experienced by male and female students, 6) to get the descriptions about the problems of male and female students in some aspects such as personal, emotional learning, family and social, 7) to get the description about the problems experienced by male and female students in general. The mean of collecting data is questioner. The subject of this research is the students of class X and XI that consists of 240 students. The result shows that the problems that experienced by male and female students are different, the research finding as stated in table 5 shows that male students who have family problem are 93,2% and female students also have the same problem but it is higher than male students’ problem, that is 98% in Senior Vocational School Number 5 Pekanbaru. It s known that the students class XI of Senior Vocational School Number 5 Pekanbaru have family problems on the average. The impact of the family problem is in few category.Keywords: Problems

Abstract

Abstract : Students are not only learning to get student achievement, but alsolearning to deal with or overcome the various problems.. For example the issue of thecommunication anxiety and anxiety to face the exam. Therefore, the researchers need todevelop a material about the student anxiety in the schools. This research is expected tobe used by guidance and counseling teachersto solve the student’s problems. Thismaterial is prepared using research and development (R & D) methods. The purposesare 1)Establishment of appropriate materials about student anxiety of SMA. 2) Todetermine the quality of the student anxiety materials. This material had validated bytwo supervisors, guidance and counseling teacher, and for students of SMA. Thismaterial is tested in 4 lessonhours time (4 x 45minutes). This material consists of asense of anxiety, characteristics of anxiety, factors affecting anxiety, symptoms ofanxiety, the sense of anxiety communication, the characteristics of anxietycommunication, factors that influence the anxiety of communication, how to overcomeanxiety communication. The results of the development of this material indicates thequality of the material produced is in “Very Good” category, with the acquisition score4.2 for all aspects of assessment.Keywords: Development of guidance counseling materials, student anxiety

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims arrangement of the material on the use of mobile applications in the necessary learning for high school students in terms of the clarity of the material, the material systematics, image support, adequacy of material and support for video/game. The method used in this study, which is a method of research and development (research and development). This material is validated by the supervisor 1 and 2, guidance and counseling teachers SMAN 5 Pekanbaru, and 40 graders X3 SMAN 5 Pekanbaru. This material is tested to the student with the allocation of a 3-hour lessons (3 x 45 minutes). This material consists of understanding mobile phones and applications, a variety of applications as a medium of learning, efforts to use mobile apps as a medium of learning as well as the positive and negative impacts of the use of mobile phones. The results of the development of this material indicates the quality of the material produced is at kategoi "Good", with the acquisition of a score of 4:14 for all aspects of assessment.Keyword: Material counseling, the use of mobile applications, learning

Abstract

Abstract: Career information services is very important provided to students, to help students understand and evaluate the job market information and make choices related to the world of work. This study aims to determine the effect of engineering career information services to the improvement of career planning of students of class XI IIS SMA Negeri 2 Pekanbaru. The method used is a true-experimental method with the pattern of pretest-posttest control group design. The subjects of this study are students of class XI IIS Negeri 2 Pekanbaru with a low level of career planning. Based on the correlation coefficient between x1 and x2 is the determinant coefficient of 0.75 and r2 = 0.56. This means that the contribution of information services career to career planning by 56%. Paired t test of calculation Sample t-test, t obtained > t table (8.811> 2.042) so the hypothesis is accepted, so there are differences in the level of students' career planning in class XI IIS SMA Negeri 2 Pekanbaru before and after a career information service.Keywords : information services, career planning

Abstract

Abstract This study, entitled "Analysis of Student Learning Styles Play Games Online at State Primary School 010 Kubu district academic year 2013/2014". This study aims to: 1). To describe the visual learning style of students, 2). To know the description of auditory learning styles of students, 3). To find a picture of kinesthetic learning styles of students and 4). To find a picture of the students' learning styles play the game online at SDN 010 Kubu district. The method used in this research: descriptive methods. The population in this study were all students of class IV, V, and VI Elementary School 010 Kubu district school year 2013/2014, this study uses saturated sample technique or the total sample with a total sample of 92 people. The experiment was conducted in March and ending in May 2014. Based on the research results, it can be seen that the description of a visual learning style of students in middle category is 70.65%. While the picture of auditory learning style in middle category, namely 56, 57% and kinesthetic learning style picture also in middle category, namely 65, 21%, As well as an overview of learning styles of students who play online games in SD Negeri 010 Kubu district school year 2013/2014 is most of the students have a visual learning style that is 52.45% (48 people). Auditory 25.61% (as many as 24 people) and Kinesthetic 21.94% (20 persons). Based on the results of the data analysis of research, discussion, research findings, the conclusions of this study then recommended to the school (principal) Elementary School 010 Kubu district to be able to understand and care about the learning styles of students who play the game online. Expected to classroom teachers in order to further increase its attention to students' learning styles and find a method of learning that fit each student's learning style appropriately. For parents are expected to be able to accompany her home learning activities, especially for children who have unique learning styles according to the character of the child, so that the learning objectives will be easily accessible and understood the child. For researchers, the next challenge studies to investigate students' learning styles in terms of environmental and psychological factors. Keywords: Learning Styles visual, auditory and kinesthetic

Abstract

Abstract : The title of this research is "Effect On The Improvement Of Information Services Student Interest On Higher Education Class XI Farmasi Ikasari Pekanbaru T.P. 2014/2015”. The aim in this study were 1) To know the description given level of student interest before the service information, 2). To know the process of implementation of information services on the college, 3). To describe the level of interest of the students after being given information services, 4). To determine differences in the level of interest of the students before and after the information services, 5). To find out How much influence information services to increase student interest. The subjects were students of class XI Farmasi IKASARI pekanbaru totaling 116 students. This study uses a total of sampling (samples saturated). Which means that all members become members of the sample population. Picture of student interest before being given the information service of 75% in the high category, the category was 24.14% and 0.86% lower categories. Picture of student interest after being given information service 97.41% in the high category, the category of medium and low category 2:59% 0%. Based on the calculation results obtained that the correlation coefficient between  Is equal to 0495, then the determinant coefficient () is   = 0.245 x 100 = 24.5 %. So the contribution of information services by 24.5%, while 75.5% of other factors. Judging from the t test with dk 230 and standard error set at 5%, then t_tabel = 1.980. Which means that in this study there is a significant difference to the increasing interest of the students before and after being given the information services.
