Abstract

Abstract Overweight and obesity are abnormal conditions or the occurrence of excess fat in adipose tissue and pose a risk of damaging health. In Indonesian, the prevalence of obesity at ages 5 – 12 years are 10,8% and obesity are 8,8%. The prevalence of obesity at the age of 13 – 15 years are 8,3% and obesity are 2,5%. Overweight and obesity can be caused by indirect factors and direct factors. Indirect factors are gender, genetics, age, social environment. Direct factors are food intake and physical activity. The food intake that contributes the greatest energy comes from carbohydrates and fat. This research was conducted to determine fat intake and physical activity in junior high school students who were overweight and obese in Tasikmalaya City. This research is descriptive research conducted from February to April 2023. Data were collected using anthropometric measurements to determine the nutritional status of respondents, interviews using the SQ-FFQ and IPAQ formulas to determine fat intake and physical activity. Data collection used a total sampling technique of 20 respondents. The results of the study showed that some teenagers with a nutritional status of overweight and obesity at junior hight school/ equivalent level experienced problems with food intake and a small percentage experienced problems with physical activity. The conclusion is that overweight and or obese teenagers at junior high school/ equivalent level experience problems with fat intake of 95% and light physical activity o2 20%, moderate physical activity of 75%. Abstract

Anak sehat adalah harapan bangsa sehingga perlu dipersiapkan supaya menjadi sumber daya manusia berkualitas, sehat dan berguna bagi masyarakat. Dalam menunjang pertumbuhan dan perkembangan fisik dibutuhkan zat gizi yang diperlukan dalam jumlah cukup karena peran gizi menentuan kesehatan anak. Keadaan jasmani yang segar akan lain pengaruhnya dengan keadaan jasmani yang kurang segar, keadaan jasmani yang lelah akan lain pengaruhnya dengan keadaan jasmani yang tidak lelah. Zat gizi harus cukup karena kekurangan kadar zat gizi mengakibatkan kurangnya tonus jasmani, yang pengaruhnya dapat berupa kelesuan, lekas mengantuk dan lekas lelah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis hubungan antara asupan kalori konsumsi makan pagi dengan kebugaran jasmani siswa sekolah dasar. Rancangan penelitian ini berupa metode cross sectional. Subjek penelitian adalah semua siswa kelas I, II dan III SD Negeri 1 Bugisan dengan kriteria berumur 6 – 9 tahun, sehat, melakukan makan pagi dan bersedia menjadi subjek penelitian. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan formulir food recall konsumsi makan pagi dan Harvard Step UP Test. Analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (P: 0,002) dengan (r: 0,503). Kesimpulannya ada hubungan positif antara asupan kalori konsumsi makan pagi dengan kebugaran jasmani pada siswa sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Chronic kidney failure is a gradual and irreversible kidney dysfunction characterized by a permanent decrease in kidney function. The study aims to analyze potassium intake, dietary compliance and nutritional status of chronic kidney failure patients with hemodialysis at Jasa Kartini Hospital, Tasikmalaya City. The type of study is an analytical survey with a cross-sectional study approach, namely the variables of potassium intake, dietary compliance and nutritional status were studied simultaneously which was conducted from April to May 2024. Potassium intake data were obtained by interview using a 2 x 24 hour food recall form and a food photo book. Dietary compliance data were obtained by interview using a dietary compliance questionnaire. Nutritional status data were obtained using the SGA formular. The results of the study showed that most of the potassium intake in patients was in the good category as many as 39 people (59%). Most respondents were compliant with the diet as many as 40 people (61%). The conclusion is that most chronic kidney failure patients with hemodialysis have good potassium intake, many are compliant with the diet and nutritional status is at risk of malnutrition.

Abstract

Nutrition counseling is education for patients to maintain food intake according to needs. Adequate intake of macronutrients and fiber in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus complicated by dyslipidemia is expected to maintain blood glucose control and lipid profile in good condition. The aim of this study was to determine the intake of macronutrients and fiber in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus complicated by dyslipidemia at RSUD dr. Soekardjo Tasikmalaya who has undergone nutritional counseling and has never undergone nutritional counseling. This type of research was observational with descriptive analysis on 87 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus complicated by dyslipidemia, namely 43 patients who had undergone nutritional counseling and 43 patients who had never undergone nutritional counseling. Sampling used purposive sampling technique. Data collection was carried out by filling out questionnaires on respondent characteristics (history of nutritional counseling, gender, age, education, employment, nutritional status) obtained by interview, anthropometric measurements (body weight and height) and intake of macronutrients and fiber with formula foods. 24 hour recall. The results of the study showed that macronutrient intake in patients who underwent nutritional counseling and who did not undergo nutritional counseling, including protein and carbohydrates, was included in the deficit category. Meanwhile, fat intake is included in the category above requirements. Fiber intake is included in the severe deficit category. This shows that there is a need to increase nutritional programs related to education for patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus with complications so that nutritional intake can be met according to needs with good dietary management.
