Abstract

This research was conducted to develop a Qur'an-based Science magazine on the human movement system material for class VIII SMP/MTs students. The research objectives are to describe the validation of the Qur'an-based science magazine on the Human Movement System material for class VIII SMP/MTs students and to describe the students' responses to the Qur'an-based science magazine that was developed. This research is a research and development research using the 4-D Thiagarajan development model with the research stages of define, design, develop and disseminate. The results of this research are in the form of a science magazine based on the Qur'an on the Human Movement System material for class VIII SMP/MTs which is used as a learning support book with a material expert test validity level of 88.75%, religious validity of 85%, media validity by 97.14% and users (teachers) by 90.30% which means science magazines are included in a very valid category to be used as a supporting book. Then the results of the students were 90, 96% with a sample of 6 students in class VIII, and the results of the large-scale student response test of 90.66% with a sample of 30 students in class VIII. These results indicate that the magazine is included in the very attractive category for the development of a science magazine based on the Koran on the Human Movement System material for SMP/MTs Class VIII students.

Abstract

Theory of Natural science in junior high school is considered difficult by learners; one of them is the sub material of acid base. It needs to be held practicum based learning. Meanwhile, for carrying out practicum, the tools and materials did not function properly. Besides that, there were no practical instructions in the schools. The purpose of this research (1) To find out the validity of the natural science practicum guide (2) to find out the student’s responses to the natural science practicum guide. The type of research used was R and D which is ADDIE model. The results of the media development were natural science practicum guide assisted by the Phet virtual laboratory, the validation results from material experts 97,5%, the validation result from media expert 94% and practitioner validation results 95,4% with a very valid category from each validator assessment, The student response test results on small scale were 89,3% and the large scale were 91,5% with a very interesting category.

Abstract

Chemistry concepts are generally abstract so they require teaching materials that visualize those abstract concepts. The aims of this study were to develop a Basic Chemistry E-Book enhanced with multiple representations and a STEM approach. This study used a research and development model modified from the ADDIE model which consists of 5 stages, namely: (1) Analysis (analysis of students’ characteristics and course objectives), (2) Design (design of e-book and research instruments), (3) Develop (e-book production), (4) Implementation (expert judgement and field trials), and (5) Evaluation (the effectiveness test and revision of e-book). Research result showed that the feasibility of e-book based on the expert judgement got 93.75% as a score on the material feasibility component, 100% as a score of feasibility component and 95.40% as a score of the language and STEM component. Furthermore, the results of small-scale field trials obtained a percentage of 86% and large-scale field trials obtained a percentage of 87%. The effectiveness test of e-book got score 0,643 means e-book was effective enough for using in learning chemistry. Based on this study, e-book for Basic Chemistry Course based on multiple representations with the STEM approach is appropriate for being used in general chemistry course

Abstract

Tanaman jarak pagar (Jatropha curcas L.) memiliki banyak manfaat, salah satunya dapat digunakan sebagai obat tradisional untuk mengobati penyakit kuku dan mulut (PMK) pada sapi. Petani sekaligus peternak sapi di Kecamatan Kota Anyar Kabupaten Probolinggo memanfaatkan tanaman ini sebagai obat PMK, namun jumlah tanaman jarak pagar di desa tersebut sangat rendah sehingga perlu diupayakan budidaya tanaman jarak pagar sebagai bahan baku pembuatan obat PMK. Pendampingan masyarakat dilakukan dengan metode Participatory Action Research (PAR) yang meliputi lima tahapan yaitu tahap to know, to understand, to plan, to act dan to change. Subjek pengabdian adalah petani sekaligus peternak sapi di Kecamatan Kota Anyar berjumlah 20 orang yang berasal dari 7 desa dan mewakili populasi petani di Kecamatan tersebut. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil pendampingan masyarakat menunjukkan bahwa pendampingan budidaya tanaman jarak pagar yang dilakukan telah berhasil membuat 300 bibit tanaman jarak pagar sehingga dapat meningkatkan jumlah tanaman jarak pagar di Kota Anyar Probolinggo. This study aims to determine the effect of the application ofthe guided inquiry learning model assisted by the Virtual Laboratory on the understanding of the conceptof light material and optical instruments for class VIII SMPN 24 Bekasi. To identify these problems,researchers using a quasi-experimental method (quasi-experimental), with a nonequivalent control groupdesign. This study obtained the result that the guided inquiry learning model with the help of virtuallaboratory media had an effect on increasing the ability to understand the concept of light and opticalinstruments. This is indicated by a significant increase in students' ability to understand science concepts,oral communication, collaboration, and problem-solving after following the guided inquiry learningprocess with the help of virtual laboratory media with an average of 8.49 in the experimental class while inthe control class 7.91

Abstract

Desa Sumberkalong merupakan salah satu desa di Kabupaten Bondowoso yang memiliki prevalensi stunting yang cukup tinggi. Berbagai Upaya telah dilakukan untuk menurunkan angka prevalensi tunting, namun belum dilakukan upaya pemanfaatan potensi desa untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut. Tanaman obat keluarga (TOGA) memiliki banyak manfaat, salah satunya yaitu mengandung zat gizi dan senyawa yang dapat meningkatkan asupan nutrisi bagi anak-anak. Konsumsi olahan TOGA pada anak dengan resiko stunting dapat memperbaiki gizi pada anak. Masyarakat Desa Sumberkalong yang mayoritas bertani telah menanam TOGA pada lahan rumah, namun sebagian besar belum memahami pentingnya pemanfaatan dan pengolahan TOGA untuk mengatasi stunting sehingga perlu dilakukan pendampingan khususnya pada ibu yang memiliki anak beresiko stunting. Pendampingan masyarakat dilakukan dengan metode Participatory Action Research (PAR) yang meliputi lima tahapan yaitu tahap to know, to understand, to plan, to act dan to change. Subjek pengabdian merupakan ibu rumah tangga yang berasal dari 5 dusun di Desa Sumberkalong. Data pengabdian diperoleh melalui wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil pendampingan masyarakat berupa meningkatnya kemampuan warga untuk mengolah TOGA menjadi pangan alternatif dan terbentuknya kelompok-kelompok penggerak TOGA di beberapa dusun di Desa Sumberkalong.

Abstract

Teachers play a crucial role in the success of education, particularly within Indonesia's Merdeka Curriculum, which introduces the concept of Guru Penggerak (Driving Teacher). These teachers are positioned as agents of change, expected to integrate technology, pedagogy, and content through the Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (TPACK) framework, especially in science education. This study aims to describe the TPACK profiles of junior high school science driving teacher in Banyuwangi Regency and identify both supporting and inhibiting factors. A descriptive qualitative approach was applied, with data collected through interviews, questionnaires, classroom observations, and document analysis. Data were analyzed using data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing, and validated through source and method triangulation. The results show that: (1) TPACK profiles based on CoRe + Technology are generally strong, as teachers demonstrate an understanding of the big ideas and key concepts in the material, which they record in CoRe and Technology sheets used as a foundation for developing students’ conceptual understanding; (2) Observations and PaP-eRs indicate that: a) TK includes digital literacy skills; b) PK includes classroom management with ice-breaking, planning with teaching modules, phased implementation (introduction, core, closing), assessment via literacy, numeracy, and projects, and evaluation through peer learning groups; and c) CK includes using science textbooks as primary resources and providing examples relevant to the theory; and (3) Supporting factors include adequate access to technology, facilities, and peer collaboration, while inhibiting factors involve limited knowledge of TPACK integration and insufficient time for lesson preparation.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah 1) Mengembangkan buku monografi hasil identifikasi keanekaragaman tumbuhan berdasarkan klasifikasi ilmiah dan pengetahuan lokal, 2) Mendeskripsikan hasil kualitas monografi keanekaragaman tumbuhan berbasis pengetahuan lokal di UIN KHAS Jember berdasarkan hasil validasi dan respons mahasiswa. Jenis penelitianini yakni penelitian dan pengembangan) model ADDIE, dengan tahap evaluation tidak dilakukan. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah: (1) angket validasi untuk ahli materi dan ahli media, dan (2) angket respons mahasiswa. Ahli dalam penelitian ini ada tiga yaitu 2 ahli materi dan 1 ahli desain media. Jenis data yang diperoleh berupa data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil validasi ahli untuk kelayakan isi sebesar 93,05%, komponen kelayakan bahasa adalah 95,83% dan komponen kelayakan grafis adalah 91,67%. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahawa buku monografi yang telah dikembangkan layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran mata kuliah klasifikasi mahkluk hidup  pada prodi Tadris IPA FTIK UIN KHAS Jember. Hasil uji coba respons sebesar 90% dengan kriteria sangat menarik artinya buku mobografi sangat menarik untuk digunakan sebagai salah satu buku rujukan dalam belajar mata kuliah klasifikasi tumbuhan.
