Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal warna melalui permainan balon. Subjek penelitian adalah anak usia 3-4 tahun  di KB Permata Bunda Cembor Mojokerto dengan jumlah 9 anak. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah observasi yang dilakukan oleh teman sejawat dan dokumentasi yang berupa foto kegiatan anak dalam proses pembelajaran. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya  peningkatan kemampuan mengenal warna melalui permainan balon  sebesar 41,6% berdasarkan evaluasi hasil dari siklus I dan siklus II. Dari uraian di atas, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa permainan balon dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal warna pada anak anak usia 3-4 tahun  di KB Permata Bunda Cembor Mojokerto. Kata Kunci : Mengenal warna, Permainan Balon.   Abstract This classroom action research aims to improve the ability to know the color of the balloon through the game. Subjects were children aged 3-4 years in KB Permata Bunda Cembor Mojokerto with the number 9 children. Data collection techniques used in this study was the observation made by peers and documentation activities in the form of photos of children in the learning process. Data analysis techniques in this study using descriptive statistical analysis. The results showed an increased ability to recognize colors through games balloons of 41.6% based on the evaluation of the results of the first cycle and the second cycle. From the above description, it can be concluded that the balloon games can improve cognitive ability of color in children aged 3-4 years in KB Permata Bunda Cembor Mojokerto. Abstract

Teaching and learning is a good way to reach the educational goals. Since the Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) hits the word, the process of teaching and learning totally change that creates new problem for teachers and students. This study aims to find out the students’ perceptions of the implementation of home learning and online learning during the pandemic era (COVID-19) in SMA Negeri 1 Soe. This study used a qualitative descriptive design. The instruments used were questionnaires and interviews. The data of this study was collected through spreading questionnaires and doing interviews. The data of this study were analyzed by using SPSS. The result of the study showed that students perceive the implementation of home learning and online learning during pandemic era (COVID-19) is a good way because it could protect the students from the spread of the COVID-19, it helped the students to keep learning. It could make the students to be responsible for their learning improvement.

Abstract

In the modern era of technology, there are many applications, both online and offline, that can help them learn to speak, for example, podcasts. Podcast is a platform for storing sound recordings that can be listened to anytime and anywhere. The purpose of this study is to find out how students perceive podcast media in learning English speaking skills to improve their speaking skills. The researcher used a descriptive qualitative method and involved three students. They were fourth-semester English class students in the 2023–2024 academic year. Data was collected through semi-structured interviews and observations. The researcher classified six elements based on the results of this study: technological advances in the digital era, first impressions, and effectiveness of using media podcasts, advantages of media podcasts, student motivation, and teaching podcasts in the technological era. The results show that students have a positive perception of the use of podcasts in speaking and learning. Podcasts have many contents or topics that they can listen to and learn to speak whenever they want, which makes students see it as an interesting medium. They also agree that podcasts help students speak in public, as they can improve their vocabulary and pronunciation by listening to native speakers.Keyword: students’ perception, podcast media, speaking skill

Abstract

The lempuyang gajah plant (Zingiber zerumbet (L.) Roscoe ex Sm.) is a plant that is widely used as a treatment for desease. The purpose of this study was to determine the toxic effect of the ethanol extract of lempuyang gajah (Zingiber zerumbet (L.) Roscoe ex Sm.) on levels of bilirubin and alkaline phosphatase (ALP) in the liver of mice (Mus musculus). The type of research used is descriptive quantitative with laboratory experimental methods. The mice were divided into 5 groups including normal control, negative control, dose of 4000 kg-1, 5000 kg-1 and 6000 kg-1. then observed the toxic symptoms, macroscopic, levels of bilirubin and alkaline phosphatase. The results of the phytochemical test showed that there were compounds of alkaloids, flavonoids, saponins, phenolics, steroids, triterpenoids and tannins. The results of macroscopic observations showed that the liver was still in a normal condition. The results of the One Way Anova test on bilirubin and alkaline phosphatase levels did not show any significant effect (p>0,05) influence between the normal control group, negative control, doses of 4000 kg-1, 5000 kg-1 and 6000 kg-1, so it can be said that all experimental animals had the same condition.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya fakta yang menunjukkan masih rendahnya kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya pengaruh model pembelajaran discovery learning terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa ditinjau dari self-confidence. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian ekaperimen dengan desain penelitiannya yaitu Factorial Experiment. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah Cluster Random Sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu kelas VIII SMP Negeri 45 Pekanbaru, dengan kelas VIII.1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII.2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu tes, angket, observasi, dengan instrumen pengumpulan data berupa soal tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis, angket self-confidence dan lembar observasi. Analisis data yang digunakan peneliti yaitu uji anova dua arah. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa: 1) Terdapat perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model discovery learning dengan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional. 2) Tardapat perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa yang memiliki self-confidence tinggi, sedang dan rendah. 3) Tidak terdapat pengaruh interaksi penerapan model pembelajaran dan self-confidence terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Dengan demikian, secara umum dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran discovery learning berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa ditinjau dari self-confidence SMP Negeri 45 Pekanbaru.
