Abstract

Algae are eukaryotic organisms with chlorophyll. Green algae contain chlorophyll, allowing them to photosynthesize directly and provide shrimp ponds with food. This study is entitled Fluctuations of Green Algae and Effects on the Growth of Pacific White Shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) in CV. Cemarasewu Sumber Rejeki, Cilacap. This observational study Oct–Dec 2022 monitored a pond in Cilacap. Water green algae and Pacific White Shrimp samples were taken every seven days age 64–120 days. Algae density was calculated hemocytometer, while shrimp growth parameters MBW, ADG, FCR, SR and water quality temperature, pH, DO, salinity, nutrients were measured. Data were analyzed descriptively to observe the relationship between algae fluctuations and shrimp growth. The results of the study showed that green algae experienced fluctuations during the Pacific White Shrimp cultivation period. The presence of green algae can have a good effect on the growth rate of Pacific White Shrimp. The growth rate of Pacific White Shrimp in the research pond was classified as good. The results obtained by ADG in plot B13 0.39%, B14 0.45% and B15 0.38%. MBW in plot B13 30.75 g, B14 31.68 and B15 32.05 g. FCR in plot B13 1.42, B14 1.45 and B15 1.39 and SR in plot B13 66.7%, B14 71.5% and B15 70.7%.

Abstract

Pacific White Shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) is a frequently cultivated shrimp species. This is because it offers promising prospects and profits. Superior vannamei can be produced by considering several aspects of the cultivation process. Internal factors include the origin and quality of the seeds, as well as external factors, including cultivation water quality, feeding, technology, and pest and disease control. This research was conducted from September 15 to October 15, 2022, at CV. Cemarasewu Sumber Rejeki, Jetis Village, Cilacap, Central Java. The purpose of this study was to determine the water quality conditions in Pacific White Shrimp rearing ponds at CV. Cemarasewu Sumber Rejeki, Cilacap. Three ponds were used for data collection: plots B13, B14, and B15, with shrimp rearing ages of 100-129 days. Research results indicated that plots B13, B14, and B15 at CV. Cemarasewu Sumber Rejeki provides good water quality for Pacific White Shrimp cultivation. The results of water quality parameters measured in this study include: brightness up to 35 cm, temperature ranging from 27-29 ºC, pH ranging from 7.6-8.3, salinity ranging from 14-22 ppt, alkalinity ranging from 125-169.6 ppm, TOM ranging from 70.4-79.2 ppm, DO ranging from 4.32-4.98 ppm, phosphate ranging from 0.25-0.5 ppm, nitrite ranging from 0.013-0.085 ppm, nitrate 0 ppm, ammonia ranging from 0.00-0.085 ppm, ammonium ranging from 0.00-0.50 ppm and plankton ranging from 2,500-282,500. It can be concluded that the water quality in pond plots B13, B14, and B15 at CV. Cemarasewu Sumber Rejeki meets the appropriate standards to support Pacific white shrimp cultivation.

Abstract

One of the household chores that is concerned about this problem is folding the t-shirt from the drying process. When there are lots of stacks of t-shirts, especially for laundry entrepreneurs. Manually folding a t-shirt will certainly look less presentable if done very quickly. The purpose of this study is to accelerate the activity of the laundry  entrepreneur,  therefore a  model  of  tool  that can  help  in t-shirt  folding  quickly  with  a  workforce is automatically  created.  Using  six  servo  motors  as  a  folding  drive  on  the  right,  left  and  bottom.  To  start  the process  when  the  tool  is  used,  by  utilizing  an  ultrasonic  sensor  to  start  and  stop  the  folding  process automatically.  The components in this  study  are  controlled by the  Arduino  UNO  microcontroller  so  that  it  can work automatically in accordance with the commands that have been applied. There are ten tests using t-shirts of the same size. So the results of the ten testing processes carried out a folding duration of about 3 seconds with 1 t-shirt, 9 seconds by folding 3 t-shirts, 15 seconds by folding 5 t-shirts, 21 seconds by folding 7 t-shirts, and 30 seconds  by  folding  10  t-shirts.  It  can  be  concluded  that  folding  a  t-shirt  using  this  tool  feels  faster  and  neater than the manual folding process.
