Abstract

Pancasila education as one of the General Compulsory Courses is given in universities as an effort to re-cultivate Pancasila values in students. One effort to anticipate corruption is to foster behavior and attitudes that are in accordance with Pancasila values. For this reason, it is necessary to have a good and correct understanding among students regarding the values of Pancasila so that they can implement these values in their contribution to being involved in solving the nation's problems. The purpose of this research is to determine the understanding of Civil Engineering students at the Semarang State Polytechnic regarding the values of Pancasila, the perceptions of civil engineering students regarding the implementation of Pancasila in overcoming corruption in Indonesia. The research methodology used is descriptive analytical and qualitative. Data collection was carried out by administering questionnaires and interviews. Next, it is analyzed and expressed in quantitative form. From the research result, it was found that 97.8% of students memorized Pancasila, 96.9% understood Pancasila, 92.5% stated that corruption was contrary to the first principle, 97.4% of corruption was contrary to the second principle, 94.3% stated that corruption was contrary to the first principle. third, 99.1% of corruption is contrary to the fourth principle and 100% of students stated that corruption is contrary to the fifth principle of Pancasila.

Abstract

Islam mengajarkan bahwa untuk membentuk perilaku yang baik dan menghindari perilaku yang buruk maka perlu menegakkan sholat ( Q.S. Al-Ankabut : 45 ). Untuk membentuk perilaku yang baik dan menghindari perilaku yang buruk ternyata tidak sembarang sholat, karena di Al-Qur an ada kecaman bagi orang yang sholatnya tidak sungguh sungguh. “Maka celakalah orang yang sholat yaitu orang yang lalai dalam menjalankan sholatnya” (Q.S. Al-Ma”™un : 4-5). Sholat yang bisa membentuk perilaku baik dan menghindari perilaku buruk adalah sholat yang dilakukan dengan penuh kekhusyuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kekhusyuan mahasiswa   Teknik Sipil Polines dalam menjalankan sholatnya dan pengaruhnya terhadap perilaku. Hasil dari penelitian ini 99,2% mahasiswa ketika sholat merasa dekat dengan Allah,   97,2 % mahasiswa Jurusan Teknik Sipil Polines menjalankan sholat khusyuk dengan menundukkan muka,     93,2 % Sholat khusyuk dengan mengingat kematian, 72 % mahasiswa sholat khusyuk sambil meneteskan air mata, 98 % mahasiswa setelah sholat merasa tenang,   98 % setelah sholat khusyuk tidak berani melakukan kemaksiatan, 93,3 %   setelah melakukan sholat khusyuk tidak berani curang atau berbohong.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui perkuatan struktur kolom dan balok yang dibutuhkan pada bangunan Masjid Ash-Shohabat di Jl. Banjarsari Selatan, Tembalang, Semarang, karena perubahan pemanfaatan ruang.   Ada 2 kolom berukuran 25x40 cm dengan tinggi 350 cm yang akandihilangkan. Akibat penghilangan kolom ini perlu dilakukan kajian penelitian apakah perlu perkuatan pada kolom dan balok yang masih ada atau tidak. Setelah dilakukan analisis dengan software SAP2000, diperoleh hasil momen maksimal pada ujung - ujung balok 76,1 KNM yang mana ini melebihi momen kapasaitas balok sebesar 62 KNM, sehingga diperlukan perkuatan struktur. Metode perkuatan yang digunakan adalah dengan menggunakan material CFRP (Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer), dimana kekurangan tulangan yang diperlukan pada balok tersebut, diganti dengan material CRFP. Dari hasil perhitungan maka diperoleh kebutuhan CRFP sebanyak   2 buah dengan ukuran 220 mm x 1800 mm tebal 0,15 mm yang dipasang pada sisi atas ujung - ujung balok. Waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk pelaksanaan hanya 3 hari dengan biaya Rp3.800.000,-.

Abstract

Community service in the form of implementing a system for checking and repairing cracks in walls in Pakintelan Village, Gunungpati District, Semarang City aims to increase residents' knowledge regarding the problem of cracks in walls which are thought to be caused by ground movement. This activity starts from a site survey, equipment preparation, and training carried out with the correct procedures, ensuring the implementation of correct repair methods and according to standards. Based on the results of surveys and interviews with local residents, the cracks in the walls of houses that occurred at the Citra Pesona Pakintelan Housing Complex were caused by ground movements which caused non-uniform structural settlement and vibrations resulting from housing construction behind the service location. The service team and students provide guidance and assistance to stone masons and the surrounding community. There were 6 masons who took part in the training and several members of the local community. The repair method used to repair cracked walls is the stitching method.

Abstract

Bahan ajar Bahasa Inggris adalah modul mata kuliah Bahasa Inggris yang berisi seperangkat materi yang disusun secara sistematis dengan menggunakan cara pandang bervisi SETS (Science, Environment, Technology, Society) dengan aplikasi berbagai materi pada mata kuliah lain sehingga memungkinkan tercipta lingkungan/suasana belajar yang dapat mempermudah mahasiswa untuk belajar lebih efektif dan efisien. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan bahan ajar mata kuliah Bahasa Inggris dengan model pembelajaran bervisi SETS yang sesuai untuk mahasiswa teknik, khususnya Teknik Sipil. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan R&D (Research and Development). Penelitian pengembangan digunakan untuk mendesain produk atau prosedur baru yang teruji secara sistematis di lapangan, dievaluasi, dikembangkan sedemikian rupa sehingga memenuhi kriteria efektivitas, kualitas atau kemiripan dengan suatu standar. Secara keseluruhan bahan ajar bahasa Inggris bervisi SETS yang disusun didalam penelitian ini mempunyai keterkaitan yang sangat baik yaitu tingkat keterkaitannya dengan mata kuliah lain yang ada di dalam kurikulum.

Abstract

Community service in the form of implementing a system for inspecting and repairing damage to building walls in Ngadirgo Village, Mijen District, Semarang City aims to increase the insight and skills of local residents regarding the problem of cracks in building walls that occur due to ground movement. This activity starts from a site survey, preparation of tools and materials, training on the correct procedures, ensuring the implementation of correct repair methods and according to standards. Based on the results of surveys and interviews with local residents, the cracks in the walls of RW 2 Hall, Ngadirgo Village, Mijen District were caused by ground movement activities, resulting in non-uniform settlement of the building structure. The service team and students provide training and assistance to residents and bricklayers in Ngadirgo Village, Mijen District. The repair method used to repair cracked walls is the stitching method

Abstract

Urban farming is an effort to maintain resilience in the capital city of Central Java. The Semarang City Government continues to be committed to improving the quality of regional development with benchmarks from aspects of development achievement, quality aspects, document preparation aspects, and innovation aspects. In 2023, the Semarang City Government will carry out program innovations such as the Food Startup Challenge, Urban farming Corner, Rumah Gizi Pelangi Nusantara, and Sekolah Berkebun which will be included in the assessment of the Regional Development Awards (PPD) for Regency/City at the Central Java Province level. In carrying out this innovation, the Semarang City Government also encourages the involvement of all levels of society, especially women's groups and children through the curriculum in schools. This urban farming can support nutritional improvements for stunted children in the City of Semarang. As is known, the City of Semarang has succeeded in scoring a hat trick as the first best city in the Regional Development Awards or PPD for 3 consecutive years (2019, 2020, 2021) both at the Central Java Province and national levels. One of the activities that can support the urban farming program is the availability of green houses for plant nurseries in the RT, RW, and sub-district sectors. The construction of green houses for nurseries is very important for the community, especially residents of RT 06, Meteseh Village, so that they can produce plant seeds independently and can carry out planting activities or movements carried out by the Semarang city government
