Abstract

Kondisi tahun 2020 New normal di pandemi covid 19 berdampak pada pengusaha kocar-kacir ekonomi di semua sektor PHK dimana-mana tidak terkecuali di kampung Barito Semarang sehingga mata pencaharian yang tidak menentu untuk menghasilkan uang, kita harus punya skill keahlian yang mumpuni untuk mengatasi pengangguran usia remaja perlu memperdayakan masyarakat angkatan kerja yang masih muda muda atau remaja dibekali skill pemotongan LPG secara bertahap sampai mahir. New normal 2020 di Kompleks Barito Semarang untulan usaha-usaha jasa pemotongan LPG untuk plat baja FC NP tempat yang menjadi tenaga pemotong LPG plat baja yang dari luar kota kondisi sepi menjadi dirumahkan atau PHK untuk menyediakan tempat kost untuk pekerja dari luar kota menjadi masalah dari kelangkaan tenaga ahli potong LPG plat baja menjadikan masalah untuk pengusaha pengusaha pemotongan LPG  Untuk mengatasi problem tersebut tim pengabdian masyarakat jurusan Teknik Sipil Polines untuk mengadakan Pelatihan memperdayakan Masyarakat untuk kaum remaja putus sekolah dengan skill 9 pembuatan sifat baja dan lain-lain.

Abstract

The plumbing system must be able to anticipate pollution from outside, So damage to pipes must be minimized because if there is a leak in the pipe it will not only affect water distribution but can also cause the water to be contaminated with dirt. Research needs to be carried out regarding inspection methods and techniques for repairing leaks in pipe installations so that if the installation experiences a leak it can be repaired immediately. The method used in this research is an experimental method, namely modeling a water pipe installation that has a leak, then applying inspection techniques and repair techniques to the pipe installation. Based on water discharge measurements carried out during 1 minute of water flow in pipe installations in normal conditions with pipes experiencing leaks, there was a decrease in water discharge of 39.023 liters/minute. To find out the leak point, it is necessary to carry out a further inspection using a pipe leak listening device. The results of the inspection carried out three times with different people showed that the inspection results shifted from the leak point by a maximum of 10 mm. Based on the research results, it was found that a repair technique that can be applied to leaks in galvanized pipe installations is strengthening with pipe clamps capable of withstanding a pressure of 1.2 Mpa with an implementation cost of Rp. 277,500.00, and the welded reinforcement is able to withstand a pressure of 3.4 Mpa with an implementation cost of Rp. 463,458.00. So the inspection method of measuring flow and checking with a listening device can be applied to check leak points in pipe installations, while the most appropriate method for repairing leaks in galvanized pipe installations is to use pipe clamp reinforcement, because it obtains a compressive strength that meets the minimum pressure requirements in pipe installations. residential house and in terms of costs it is cheaper than using welding reinforcement techniques.

Abstract

Menurut SKSNI Beton 2002 beton ringan adalah beton yang mengandung agregat ringan yang mempunyai berat jenis tidak lebih dari 1900kg/m3. Penggunaan material lain yang memiliki berat jenis ringan dalam campuran beton akan mengurangi berat beton secara keseluruhan sehingga mengurangi dimensi struktur yang akhirnya didapat struktur yang lebih ekonomis. Styrofoam yang memiliki nama lain polystyrene, begitu banyak digunakan oleh manusia dalam kehidupannya sehari hari. Fly ash memiliki sifat pozzolan dan dapat bereaksi dengan kapur pada suhu ruang dengan media air dan membentuk senyawa yang bersifat mengikat. Perpaduan Styrofoam untuk mendapatkan beton ringan dan penambahan fly ash untuk meningkatkan ikatan beton / kuat tekan beton diharapkan mampu memberikan peningkatan mutu beton ringan yang berarti. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu membuat adukan beton ringan yang terdiri dari Semen PCC, agregat halus, agregat kasar, air, dan Styrofoam dengan perbandingan variasi yang berbeda-beda yakni 10% dan 30% terhadap volume beton serta penambahan fly ash dengan variasi 5%, 10% dan 15% terhadap volume semen. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan bermanfaat memberi informasi mengenai perilaku mekanik beton ringan dengan tambahan Styrofoam dan fly ash.Dari hasil percobaan kuat tekan beton kandungan Styrofoam 10% dan 30% dengan variasi fly ash 15% mengalami peningkatan rata-rata sebesar 3,3%. Untuk kuat lentur beton kandungan Styrofoam 10% dan 30% dengan variasi fly ash 15% meningkat rata-rata sebesar 7%. Beton dengan kandungan Styrofoam 30% mempunyai berat per isi sebesar1845,45 kg/m3. Artinya beton tersebut bisa dikategorikan sebagai beton ringan karena berat jenisnya kurang dari 1900 kg/m3 seperti yang dipersyaratkan SKSNI

Abstract

Kemudahan bagi difabel merupakan wujud dari kesamaan dan kesempatan, dari segala aspek kehidupan sehingga dapat memudahkan dalam bergerak melalui dan menggunakan bangunan gedung dan lingkungan secara layak. Sehingga akses tersebut harus diterapkan secara maksimal, dengan tujuan mewujudkan kesamaan kesempatan dalam mencapai segala aspek kehidupan bagi semua tanpa terkecuali. Kajian ini difokuskan kepada aksesibilitas tunanetra guidingblock dengan mengambil kasus pada ruas jalan Karisedenan Surakarta dengan tujuan mengetahui penggunaan sarana aksesibilitas jalan sudah memfasilitasi kebutuhan dari penyandang tunanetra. Acuan dasar untuk kajian ini yaitu Kepmen PU No. 468/KPTS/1998 mengenai Persyaratan Teknis Aksesibilitas Pada Bangunan Umum dan Lingkungan yang menjadi parameter bagi penyediaan sarana aksesibilitas. Kajian ini ditemukan bahwa beberapa ruas jalan di Karesidenan Surakarta yang berupa sarana akesesibilitas yang ada belum aksesibel untuk diakses penyandang tunanetra, dimana ruas jalan tersebut belum memenuhi dari Kepmen PU No. 468/KPTS/1998 yang mensyaratkan tentang kemudahan, kegunaan, keselamatan, dan kemandirian bagi difabel.

Abstract

2022 is the beginning of offline learning after the Covid-19 pandemic. where previously learning was carried out online including practicums. One of the practicums carried out in the Semarang State Polytechnic Civil Engineering department is the masonry practicum which is carried out for semester 1 students. With the offline masonry practicum, the practicum will leave behind brick fragments that can no longer be used. These broken bricks will usually be thrown away at the end of each semester after all the practicums have been carried out. the proportion of brick fragments to intact bricks usually reaches 30% to 40%. The construction workers come from the Ngadirgo community, they learn building work autodidactically based on experience. With the continued development of BSB, there are quite a lot of employment opportunities, including development workers. Techniques and methods of masonry work that comply with construction standards can increase the ability of craftsmen to become skilled workers so that it is hoped that they can improve the welfare of the community around Ngadirgo sub-district, Mijen sub-district. Ngadirgo sub-district currently has a village cemetery which is located in Ngadirgo hamlet RW 2, in this cemetery there is no coffin house which is used to store death equipment including the coffin which is currently still entrusted to one of the residents' house. With the existence of coffin house products made from brick masonry in the village cemetery area.

Abstract

Community service in the form of implementing a system for checking and repairing cracks in walls in Pakintelan Village, Gunungpati District, Semarang City aims to increase residents' knowledge regarding the problem of cracks in walls which are thought to be caused by ground movement. This activity starts from a site survey, equipment preparation, and training carried out with the correct procedures, ensuring the implementation of correct repair methods and according to standards. Based on the results of surveys and interviews with local residents, the cracks in the walls of houses that occurred at the Citra Pesona Pakintelan Housing Complex were caused by ground movements which caused non-uniform structural settlement and vibrations resulting from housing construction behind the service location. The service team and students provide guidance and assistance to stone masons and the surrounding community. There were 6 masons who took part in the training and several members of the local community. The repair method used to repair cracked walls is the stitching method.

Abstract

Assessment using the International Roughness Index (IRI) is an important indicator in evaluating the quality of road surfaces, which affects the comfort and safety of users. This study aims to map road conditions in Tembalang District, Semarang City, using the IRI value as a reference for determining maintenance budget needs. IRI data was collected using the RoadLabPro application on a smartphone installed in a four-wheeled vehicle, with measurements taken on various roads in Tembalang District to obtain a representation of overall road conditions. The collected data were analyzed using Microsoft Excel to classify road conditions into categories of Good (IRI ≤ 4.0), Moderate (4.1 ≤ IRI ≤ 8.0), Lightly Damaged (8.1 ≤ IRI ≤ 12), and Severely Damaged (IRI ≥ 12). The analysis results show that 80.65% of the road sections are in good condition, with an average IRI of 2.98 m/km, while the other 19.35% are in moderate condition with an average IRI of 4.32 m/km. Mapping data using QGIS facilitates the identification of areas that require further maintenance. The results of this study are expected to support more appropriate decision-making regarding road maintenance planning and budgeting in Tembalang District.

Abstract

Jembatan merupakan sarana transportasi yang sangat penting untuk manusia, kondisi jembatan yang baik dapat meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat dan kehidupan sosial budaya, maka pemeriksaan jembatan sangat perlu dilakukan untuk mengetahui kondisi jembatan dan dapat memastikan bahwa jembatan aman untuk dilalui kendaraan. Menurut data Statistik Transportasi Darat (2017), perkembangan volume kendaraan bermotor di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY) setiap tahunnya bertambah sekitar 646.455 kendaraan bermotor, hal ini akan mempengaruhi kondisi jembatan karena beban lalu lintas yang melewati jembatan akan bertambah. Maka tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh volume lalu lintas terhadap kondisi fisik jembatan provinsi di DIY. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel 10 jembatan provinsi di DIY, data kondisi fisik diambil dari data pemeriksaan pada penetilian sebelumnya, data volume lalu lintas didapatkan dari Dinas Pekerjaan Umum Bina Marga provinsi DIY, kemudian data tersebut dianalisa menggunakan teknik tata jenjang untuk memperolah nilai korelasi antara dua variable tersebut. Hasil penelitian didapatkan nilai korelasi (Rho) sebesar 0,449,dimana nilai tersebut lebih kecil dari pada Rho tabel pada taraf 5% sebesar 0,648 dan pada signifikan 1% sebesar 0,794, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa volume lalu lintas tidak ada pengaruh yang signifikan atau memiliki pengaruh sebesar 44,9% terhadap kondisi fisik jembatan provinsi di Daerah Istimewa Yoyakarta.

Abstract

Damage to the roof frame construction can have an impact on other components, for example if the roof frame sags resulting in the roof covering becoming loose resulting in a leak, the leak can impact the ceiling, causing moldy damage to the worst case, collapsing. So it is necessary to ensure that the roof frame construction is always in a reliable condition, so that it does not endanger the building occupants. The method used in this research is a case study method, a model of the damaged steel roof frame construction will be made, Then a visual inspection will be carried out until further inspection. Based on the results of a visual inspection of the truss frame construction, it was found that there was a deflection in the lower frame of 4mm, there was rust which reduced the thickness of the elbow profile by 0.51mm, and the loss of some of the bolt connections was 20bh. The results of the inspection were then carried out with a strength analysis, it was found that based on the deflection results it was still below 9.33 mm, it was still safe, based on rust damage, a strength reduction of 13.31% was obtained, while based on the loss of some of the bolted connections, a strength reduction of 23.81% was obtained. Then a direct loading test was carried out on the construction of the truss frame after it had been conditioned to experience damage, capable of withstanding a maximum point load of 249 kg, where the test results experienced a decrease in strength from the plan and were still greater than the inspection results. So it can be concluded that the method for checking the construction condition of steel truss frames for deflection, rust conditions and joints can be used as a guide because the results are close to the actual conditions. The intensity of damage that occurred in the truss frame construction was categorized as light damage, because the decrease in strength that occurred was 23.81% smaller than 35%.

Abstract

The quality of education is not only determined by the curriculum and teaching methods, but is also influenced by the physical condition of the learning environment, including the comfort and safety of the classroom. MI Hudalil Muttaqien Kedungpanas is one of the elementary schools that deals with problems with physical facilities, especially damaged ceramic floors in several classrooms. This damage has an impact on disrupting the teaching and learning process, and has the potential to pose a safety risk to students and teachers. This community service program aims to improve the quality of learning facilities by repairing damaged ceramic floors. The method of implementing the activity includes a survey of initial conditions, preparation of technical plans, Procurement of materials, to the repair process which is carried out in stages in accordance with civil engineering principles. The results of the community service that have been carried out show that floor repairs have succeeded in creating a more comfortable, safe, and suitable classroom environment for learning activities. In addition to improving aesthetics and safety, these repairs also have a positive impact on student learning motivation. This community service activity confirms that adequate physical facilities are an important factor in creating a quality educational environment and supporting an optimal learning process.
