Abstract

Trichoderma harzianum is a fungus that can produce secondary metabolites which able to inhibit the growth of Colletotrichum capsici. a pathogenic fungus causing anthracnose in plants. the Aims of this research were to obtain and analyze the ability of secondary metabolites of Trichoderma harzianum AC1 (b) J2 isolated from Scleria poaeformis. to inhibit the growth of Colletotrichum capsici IPBCC13.1098. The secondary metabolite eluat of Trichoderma harzianum were tested for the antifungal activity toward Colletotrichum capsici IPBCC 13.1098. Fractionation was carried out by Column Chromatography and produced 31 eluat. The secondary metabolite eluat of Trichoderma harzianum with the highest inhibition zone diameter was eluat 1 with 8.4 mm in diameter. The secondary metabolite eluat with the highest value of inhibition zone was carried out by MIC test and thin layer chromatography (TLC). Based on the MIC results, the minimum inhibitory concentration of the secondary metabolite of Trichoderma harzianum to fungus Colletotrichum capsici was 250 ppm with inhibition zone diameter was 0.10 mm. The results of TLC showed orange spots on the TLC plate that indicated alkaloite compounds.

Abstract

Endophytic actinomycetes isolated from surface-sterilized of several plant species. These bacteria are also known as producers of plant growth regulators and hormone synthesizers, innovative resources in plant disease control. The aim of this study is to identify keywords and contributions of authors, countries, and institutions of actinomycetes endophytes research in the world for ten years (2013-2023) from the Scopus database. This research uses the bibliometric analysis method. Data were extracted from the Scopus database with the specified keyword query: Endophytic Actinomycetes using Publish or perish 8. Selected bibliometric details were performed and visualized by VOSviewer. The results from the beginning search of publications were obtained from 170 articles; according to the content, there are 145 articles. The analysis, facilitated by VOSviewer software, focused on 353 keywords with a frequency of 1 or more. All keywords were systematically grouped into 76 clusters. The investigation spans the last decade and identifies the top ten keywords: endophytic actinomycetes, 16S rRNA, Polyphasic Taxonomy, Streptomyces, Antimicrobial activity, Medicinal Plants, Antifungal, Oriza sativa, Plant growth Promoting, Indole-3-Acetic Acid. The most productive author is Liu Chongxi, Followed by Xiang Wencheng. Countries contributing: China, Next Thailand, India, Japan, Vietnam. Institution published, Northeast Agricultural University, Kasetsart University, Chulalongkorn University, Jiangsu Normal University.

Abstract

Microbiological research on waste treatment has been conducted to reduce the concentration of waste pollutants, such as ammonia, nitrites, and sulfide acids. Treatment of Fish Washing Waste with Microorganisms Rhodopseudomonas sp., Lactobacillus sp., Aspergillus sp., Penicilium sp., Sacharomyces sp., and Actinomycets sp. to reduce contaminants from cod fish washing waste. The addition of microorganisms can decrease the concentration of ammonia, nitrite, and sulfic acid. Research on the Identification of Organic Pollutant Decomposing Bacteria in Domestic Wastewater found Eschericia coli, Acinetobacter iwoffii, Acinetobacter haemolyticus, Proteus mirabilis, and Pseudomonas sp. The Role of Aerobic Microbes in Liquid Waste Treatment in textile waste treatment, especially in the process of activated sludge ponds found that microbes can reduce the concentration of BOD parameters in textile waste. Bioremediation methods that use microorganism agents can be used to degrade organic materials in waste. Microorganisms have been used to reduce the concentration of waste pollutants, such as ammonia, nitrite, and sulfide acid and microorganisms can be effective in reducing the concentration of waste pollutants.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk analisis dampak limbah medis rumah sakit terhadap lingkungan sekitar. Adapun metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif, penelitian kualitatif merupakan metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk digunakan untuk memahami fenomena sosial secara mendalam. Adapun jenis penelitian yang digunakan oleh peneliti yakni studi kasus, penggunaan studi kasus dikarenakan peneliti dapat memahami secara mendalam konteks, proses, dan kompleksitas fenomena yang sedang diteliti. Jenis penelitian ini memungkinkan peneliti untuk menggali perspektif, pengalaman, dan makna yang mungkin tersembunyi dalam data yang dikumpulkan berkaitan dengan analisis dampak limbah medis rumah sakit terhadap lingkungan sekitar. Kemudian peneliti menganalisis dan menarik kesimpulan untuk menemukan jawaban dari yang peneliti teliti. Hasil dari penelitian limbah medis menyumbang sebanyak 70% pencemaran lingkungan memberikan gambaran serius tentang tantangan yang dihadapi oleh masyarakat global dalam mengelola limbah medi. Disamping itu, manajemen limbah medis rumah sakit memerlukan pendekatan terpadu yang melibatkan regulasi yang ketat, teknologi yang tepat, pendidikan dan pelatihan staf medis, serta keterlibatan masyarakat. Dengan menerapkan praktik terbaik dalam pengelolaan limbah medis, fasilitas kesehatan dapat memainkan peran yang lebih aktif dalam melindungi lingkungan dan kesehatan masyarakat secara keseluruhan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi prevalensi dan karakterisasi penyakit pada tanaman padi (Oryza sativa L.) di Kecamatan Sumber Harta, Kabupaten Musi Rawas. Dasar penelitian ini adalah pentingnya tanaman padi sebagai komoditas pangan utama di Indonesia serta potensi kerugian ekonomi yang disebabkan oleh penyakit tanaman. Meskipun demikian, terdapat kesenjangan pengetahuan terkait prevalensi dan karakteristik penyakit spesifik di wilayah ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengisi kekosongan tersebut dengan mengeksplorasi jenis-jenis penyakit yang menyerang tanaman padi dan menentukan tingkat prevalensinya. Metodologi yang digunakan mencakup survei lapangan dan analisis laboratorium untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengkarakterisasi penyakit. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penyakit hawar daun bakteri (Bacterial Leaf Blight), blast (Pyricularia oryzae), dan tungro merupakan penyakit utama yang ditemukan dengan prevalensi masing-masing sebesar 35%, 25%, dan 15%. Data ini menunjukkan bahwa hawar daun bakteri merupakan penyakit dominan di wilayah tersebut, menuntut perhatian khusus dalam pengendalian penyakit. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam pemahaman tentang epidemiologi penyakit tanaman padi di Kecamatan Sumber Harta. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat mendukung pengembangan strategi pengendalian penyakit yang lebih efektif dan meningkatkan manajemen pertanian lokal. Selain itu, hasil penelitian ini berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan kesejahteraan petani dan ketahanan pangan lokal, serta memberikan wawasan bagi peneliti dan praktisi dalam bidang patologi tanaman.
