Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan  mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi indeks prestasi mahasiswa tersebut. Ada beberapa faktor yang diduga mempengaruhi indeks prestasi (IP) mahasiswa. Sampel penelitian adalah mahasiswa program studi Sistem Informasi STMIK Atma Luhur yaitu sebanyak 109 mahasiswa. Teknik sampling yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Cluster sampling yaitu teknik pengambilan sampel yang dilakukan berdasar kelompok tertentu. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis Regresi Logistik Biner dengan prosedur Backward Stepwise yaitu mengamati tingkat pendidikan orang tua,  biaya hidup, status pekerjaan, status tempat tinggal, jumlah saudara, jenis kelamin, dan lama belajar.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 3 faktor yang signifikan terhadap IP mahasiswa yaitu pendidikan ibu, status pekerjaan mahasiswa dan lama belajar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi implementasi pelatihan dalam penggunaan aplikasi Cambridge Dictionary berbasis Android bagi calon guru di SMPN 1 Pangkalan Baru. Tujuan utamanya adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan penggunaan aplikasi tersebut dalam konteks pendidikan. Metode pelatihan yang digunakan mencakup sesi interaktif, demonstrasi praktis, dan evaluasi partisipan. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif, para calon guru dilibatkan secara aktif dalam proses pembelajaran untuk memaksimalkan pemahaman mereka terhadap fitur-fitur aplikasi, penggunaan kamus sebagai alat pendidikan, dan integrasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman dan keterampilan penggunaan aplikasi Cambridge Dictionary di antara peserta setelah pelatihan. Temuan ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya pelatihan yang terfokus dan terstruktur dalam memperkenalkan teknologi pendidikan kepada calon guru. Implikasi dari penelitian ini memberikan dasar untuk pengembangan kurikulum pelatihan yang lebih luas dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi ke dalam proses pendidikan di masa depan

Abstract

Bawaslu of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province as the election supervisory body in the province of Bangka Belitung also considers it important to provide information and manage the website properly. For this reason, Bawaslu cooperates with universities and the government to provide technical guidance and training for news and website managers to improve the ability of managers. This technical assitence involves resource persons who are experts in their fields from various agencies. STMIK Atma Luhur as a university accommodates training activities by involving the community service team. The PKM team consists of 3 lecturers and 2 students. The activity took place on December 7, 2019 which took place at the Grand Vella Hotel Bangka. The training participants came from 7 districts/cities with every cities has to send 3 participants. This activities started from morning to evening. The method in this PKM activity is training and technical guidance with the lecture method from the speakers. The activities in addition to the material provided, practical activities were also held to demonstrate how to properly manage the website and news coverage techniques to provide good and correct information. The results of the evaluation of this activities carried out, it was found that the participants gained knowledge and knowledge that could improve their ability to manage the Bawaslu news and website

Abstract

Research to describe whether the results of the assessment in the affective domain affect student learning outcomes on the subject matter of Probability Statistics. One of the assessments of the affective domain is attitude assessment. The research approach is a quantitative research with an analysis of the research subject of 100 students who have taught the Probability Statistics course. This research was conducted using an instrument in the form of an attitude scale questionnaire based on a Likert scale consisting of 22 questions with answers to questions including: Always (SL) points 5, Often (SR) points 4, Sometimes (K) points 3, Rarely (JR) point 2, and Never (TP) point 1 which is based on the attitude scale instrument grid in the form of a checklist. The indicators measured on the attitude scale are interest, curiosity, attention in learning and self-confidence. The method of analysis in the form of a correlation survey is to see the influence of the affective domain on student learning outcomes. From the results of the research, it is known that the effect of learning outcomes based on student attitudes is the most prominent due to the interest and confidence of students who are in charge of the Probability Statistics course. For curiosity and attention in learning do not have a direct effect on learning outcomes.

Abstract

Pelatihan pemanfaatan media sosial sebagai media promosi produk Usaha Menengah Mikro dan Kecil (UMKM) bagi pelaku usaha khususnya ibu-ibu PKK di Desa Kace Timur Kecamatan MendoBarat Kabupaten Bangka ini terselenggara atas kerjasama Ibu-Ibu Tim Penggerak Pemberdayaan dan Kesejahteraan Keluarga (PKK) Desa Kace Timur dengan Kampus Universitas Muhammadiyah Pangkalpinang dan Kampus Institut Sains dan Bisnis (ISB) Atma Luhur Pangkalpinang, yang diikuti oleh Ibu-ibu PKK, pelaku usaha UMKM, dan masyarakat Desa Kace Timur sebagai peserta pelatihan tersebut yang merupakan salah satu bentuk kegiatan Tri Dharma dosen yaitu pengabdian kepada masyarakat dosen ISB Atma Luhur. Kegiatan pelatihan ini dilaksanakan selama 2 (Dua) hari dari pukul 09.00 sampai pukul 15.00 di Kantor Desa Kace Timur Kecamatan MendoBarat Kabupaten Bangka. Yang menjadi narasumber pelatihan ini adalah dosen tetap beserta mahasiswa ISB Atma Luhur Pangkalpinang dengan presentasi mengenai media-media sosial, pemanfaatan media sosial,  tehnik promosi menggunakan media sosial, serta praktek promosi produk melalui media sosial yang merupakan media online yang bisa dimanfaatkan pelaku usaha dalam memasarkan produk-produk mereka. Besar harapan kami melalui pelatihan yang diberikan dapat membantu para peserta khususnya pelaku usaha UMKM  agar tidak bingung lagi dalam memasarkan produk-produk mereka tanpa harus mempunyai toko atau ruko sendiri, namun bisa dengan hanya menggunakan smart phone yang rata-rata sudah dipunyai oleh setiap orang khususnya para pelaku usaha di Desa Kace Timur.

Abstract

Teaching practice assistance activities aim to develop pedagogical competence and conceptual understanding of prospective teachers for mathematics subjects so that they are ready to face challenges in an effective learning process. Through an approach that involves micro-teaching, lesson planning, and the use of technology and interactive learning media, prospective teachers are guided to understand and master relevant and adaptive teaching techniques. This method includes classroom simulations, preparation of teaching materials, as well as evaluation and self-reflection practices, which are expected to improve skills in delivering material, managing the class, and adapting learning according to student needs. This mentoring activity was carried out for 2 days on 10 and 11 May 2024. With 2 ISB Atma Luhur lecturers, as resource persons (companions). Participants consisted of 28 prospective teachers who came from various regions in Central Bangka district. The expected result of this mentoring is to increase the ability of prospective teachers to apply active and collaborative teaching strategies, as well as strengthening conceptual understanding in mathematics. It is hoped that this mentoring will be able to equip prospective teachers with the skills and confidence needed to become professional educators who are responsive to educational needs in the modern era.

Abstract

The increase in the need for workers is very rapid if not prepared, it will result in a lot of unemployment. The problem of unemployment at the level of vocational high school graduates who do not continue their studies cannot be handled effectively, resulting in economic and social disparities. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the steps for developing the workforce, especially for vocational high school students who are carrying out PKL (field work practice) that is in accordance with the needs of the workforce, including through work training that is strongly supported by the supervising teacher, Head of DKV Department and the respective schools. With this graphic design training, participants in the vocational high school PKL training are expected to be able to improve their competence, attitudes and skills in order to get job opportunities. This training aims to explain the process of efforts to increase job opportunities through graphic design training. The results of the training show that the implementation of graphic design training has been going well, supported by maximum efforts at each stage of the training. In addition, aspects that need to be considered in graphic design training are also to obtain job opportunities, namely job information, training conditions and conditions of graphic design training graduates. Abstract

This study is entitled the analysis of students’ difficulties on English Skills at Bina Insan University. This study aims to find the difficulties faced by Bina Insan University students in learning English. The method used in this study is descriptive research, with a population of 178 Management students, and the sampling technique used in this study uses random sampling, with 71 students as samples. From several questionnaires distributed, it was found that many students still find difficulties in mastering 4 skills in English, therefore teachers are expected to be able to increase their creativity in choosing interesting, effective, and efficient learning methods and strategies for students.

Abstract

In the academic world, the ability to perform data analysis is a crucial skill. Both lecturers and students need to master data analysis techniques to support research activities, especially quantitative research. These analysis techniques are supported by proficiency in software that can assist in data processing. A frequently utilized software is SPSS. This SPSS training is designed to enhance the data analysis skills of lecturers and students through face-to-face methods that include presentations, live demonstrations, and interactive practice sessions. The training aims to provide a deep understanding of SPSS usage in various statistical analyses, from data entry to result interpretation. The activity will be conducted in March 2024, with participants being lecturers and students from the Digital Business program. The training evaluation will be carried out comprehensively through direct assessment of participants' abilities to apply SPSS, which includes practical tests. This training is expected to provide maximum benefits to participants, support academic and research activities, and improve the quality of teaching and research outcomes.
