Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai karakter pada buku pegangan Siswa IPA SMP kelas VII semester 2 kurikulum 2013 dan kesesuaian nilai-nilai karakter dengan nilai-nilai karakter yang tercantum dalam Permendikbud No. 21 tahun 2016. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek utama yang digunakan berupa buku pegangan siswa berjudul Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam SMP/ MTs Kelas VII Semester 2 cetakan ke-3 tahun 2016 (edisi revisi). Unit analisis adalah nilai-nilai karakter yang terkandung dalam buku pegangan siswa. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan analisis isi dan pencatatan secara cermat terhadap buku pegangan siswa tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa buku pegangan siswa IPA SMP Kelas VII semester 2 berbasis kurikulum 2013 memuat nilai pendidikan karakter yang sesuai dengan uraian nilai-nilai karakter yang tercantum dalam Permendikbud No. 21 tahun 2016 tentang Standar Isi Kurikulum 2013 untuk sekolah dasar dan menengah yaitu religius, jujur, disiplin, santun, percaya diri, peduli, dan tanggung jawab. Selain ke tujuh nilai karakter yang tercantum dalam Permendikbud No. 21 tahun 2016 tersebut di dalam buku pegangan siswa juga ditemukan 8 nilai karakter lain yaitu kreatif, rasa ingin tahu, menghargai kerja individu/kerja kelompok/pendapat orang lain, komunikatif, teliti, mandiri, gemar membaca dan kerjasama.

Abstract

This research aimed to describe the teaching material?s feasibility of IPA based on scientific approach with guided inquiry learning model. This research had been done in three phases, that are creating the teaching material?s, validating and doing  revision, and verifying them at learning activity in class with one group pretest-posttest design. Techniques for collecting data was conducted through questionnaires, validation, observation, and test. Techniques for analyzing data used descriptive qualitative. The result of research showed that (1) the feasibility of teaching material?s based on scientific approach with guided inquiry learning model of IPA that consist of syllabus,  lesson plan, student book, student worksheet and  the learning outcome test gained 4.89; 4.72; 4.81; 4.79; and 4.51 respectively that are categorized as valid. (2) The implementation of this lesson plan at two meetings in VII-A and VII-B class is categorized as good with average minimal scores 4.00 and got 94% in minimal percentage of agreement aspect; (3) Working in a group was the most dominant student activity at two meetings at VII-A and VII-B classes with average frequency of two meetings, observed are 19 and 10 times (VII-A class), and 18 and 10 times (VII-B class); (4) The learning outcomes that can be analyzed by calculating classical masteries at the first and second meetings on multiple choice and essay are 95.5%; 100%; 91%; 95% (VII-A class); and 91%; 86%; 91%; and 91% (VII-B class) respectively, and (5) Students gave the positive response to the learning process using teaching material?s of IPA based on scientific approach with guided inquiry model with average score to be 3.3 (VII-A class) and 3.4 (VII-B class). Based on the result of the analyzed data, it can be concluded that the teaching material?s of IPA based on scientific approach with guided inquiry model which had been developed was feasible to be used. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan kelayakan perangkat pembelajaran IPA SMP berbasis pendekatan saintifik dengan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam tiga tahap, yaitu tahap mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran, tahap validasi dan revisi, dan tahap uji coba dalam pembelajaran di kelas dengan menggunakan rancangan one group pretest-posttest design. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan angket, validasi, pengamatan, dan tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Kelayakan perangkat pembelajaran yang terdiri dari silabus, RPP, buku siswa, LKS, dan tes hasil belajar masing-masing diperoleh hasil 4,89; 4,72; 4,81; 4,79; dan 4,51 dengan kriteria valid. (2) Keterlaksanaan RPP pada dua pertemuan di kelas VII-A dan VII-B mendapatkan kriteria baik dengan skor rata-rata minimal 4,00 dan rata-rata persentase kesepakatan antara dua pengamat minimal 94%; (3) Frekuensi aktivitas siswa yang paling dominan pada dua pertemuan di kelas VII-A dan VII-B adalah bekerja dalam kelompok dengan frekuensi pengamatan rata-rata pada kedua pertemuan berturut-turut 19 dan 10 kali (kelas VII-A), dan 18 dan 10 kali (kelas VII-B) (4) Hasil belajar siswa yang dilihat dari  ketuntasan klasikal pada pertemuan pertama dan kedua pada soal PG dan uraian berturut-turut sebesar 95,5%; 100%; 91%; 95% (kelas VII-A); dan 91%; 86%; 91%; dan 91% (kelas VII-B), dan (5) Respon positif siswa terhadap pembelajaran IPA berbasis pendekatan saintifik dengan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dengan nilai rata-rata 3,3 (kelas VII-A) dan 3,4 (kelas VII-B). Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran IPA berbasis pendekatan saintifik dengan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing yang telah dikembangkan layak untuk digunakan.

Abstract

Rendahnya kemampuan berpikir keratif, dan ketidaktersediaan instrumen asesmen untuk mengukur kreativitas IPA kelas IV SD melatarbelakangi penelitian ini. Tujuannya adalah menghsilkan instrumen kreativitas yang valid dan dapat digunakan dalam pembalajaran. Instrumen disusun melalui tahapan pendefinisian, desain, dan pengembangan, dengan menggunakan lembar kuesioner validasi untuk pengumpulan data. Data dari hasil validasi kemudian dianalisis secara kuantitatif deskriptif dengan membandingkan dengan tabel kriteria kevalidan yang telah ditetapkan. Hasilnya, instrumen asesmen kreativitas telah dirancang sebagai tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif dengan soal uraian. Penilaian terhadap aspek materi, konstruksi, dan Bahasa menunjukkan rerata skor masing-masing 4,53; 4,61; dan 4,66, kategori yang menunjukkan kevalidan yang sangat tinggi. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa instrumen dapat digunakan dalam konteks pembelajaran untuk mengukur kreativitas siswa secara efektif. Peningkatan pengembangan instrumen penilaian kreativitas untuk mengukur kemampuan berpikir kreatif pada mata pelajaran IPA kelas IV SD yang sebelumnya masih kurang merupakan dampak dari penelitian ini. Disarankan untuk pengembangan selanjutnya instrument asesmen kreativitas bukan hanya berupa soal tes tetapi juga dilengkapi dengan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) yang bukan hanya dapat mengukur kemampuan berpikir kreatif, namun juga dapat mengukur proses dan produk kreatifnya.

Abstract

The results of initial observations, thematic learning in grade IV students of SDN 1 Bendorejo Trenggalek is monotonous and teacher-centered. On average, each sub-theme contains 50% of students who have scores below the KKM. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of the talking stick learning model and its effect on student learning outcomes. Methods of data collection using observation and tests. Quantitative research approach with One Group Pretest-Postest Design. The sampling technique used is Nonprobability Sampling with the type of Saturated Sampling, namely all fourth grade students as many as 12 students as respondents. Observations using the learning implementation sheet and hypothesis testing were carried out with the Paired Sample T Test. This is shown from the results of observing the implementation of learning, the percentage of learning implementation is 100%, which means that learning takes place very well and the Paired Sample T Test test obtained a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, which means that there is a difference in the pretest posttest, so there is an effect of the talking stick learning model on the results. student learning.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi karena rendahnya kesadaran guru mengenai pentingnya penggunaan media pembelajaran dalam menunjang keberhasilan kegiatan pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu perlu adanya pengembangan media pembelajaran yaitu media pop up book. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan langkah-langkah prosedur pengembangan media pop up book, tingkat validitas media pop up book,serta untuk mengetahui respon siswa terhadap media pop up book. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (R&D). Penelitian ini melalui beberapa tahapan menurut langkah pengembangan menurut Borg dan Gall. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III SDN 1 Banaran sejumlah 10 siswa.Instrumen penelitiannya yaitu lembar validasi dan lembar angket respon siswa.Jenis data yang didapatkan berupa data kualitatif dan data kuantitatif. Media pop up book yang dikembangkan dinyatakan layak dengan perolehan rata-rata skor 4,44 dari ahli materi dan rata-rata skor 4,80 dari ahli media, dan rata-rata skor 4,72 dari ahli pengguna, dimana keseluruhan hasil perolehan rata-rata skor masuk dalam kategori Sangat Baik. Sedangkan respon siswa terhadap media pop up book pada uji coba terbatas mendapatkan rata-rata 95% dengan kategori Sangat Baik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa media pop up book materi pokok kenampakan permukaan bumi pada mata pelajaran IPA kelas III SD yang telah dikembangkan layak untuk digunakan.    Kata kunci: IPA, Kenampakan Permukaan Bumi, Media Pop Up BookAbstract: This research is motivated by the low awareness of teachers regarding the importance of using instructional media in supporting the success of learning activities. This study aims to describe the steps in the procedure for developing media pop up books, the level of validity of pop up book media, and to determine students' responses to pop up book media. This type of research is development research (R & D). This research went through several stages according to the development step according to Borg and Gall. The developed media pop up book is declared feasible with an average score of 4.44 from the material expert and an average score of 4.80 from the media expert, and an average score of 4.72 from the expert user, where the overall results are average average score is in the Very Good category. While the response of students to the pop up book media in limited trials gets an average of 95% in the Very Good category. Abstract

Research on the development of video media based on a scientific approach assisted by Canva was motivated by learning that focused on Student Worksheets (LKS) and there was no media on the digestive system material. This research aims to develop and describe the validation of learning media results in the form of videos. This research uses the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation (ADDIE) development model. This research instrument uses a questionnaire. The validity of the video is seen from the validation results by each of the two validators (media, material, language experts), users (student responses), practitioners (teacher responses). The validation results of video learning media on the digestive system material from media experts received an average score of 90% in the "very valid" category. The material expert assessment received a score of 90%. The linguist's assessment received an average score of 90% in the "very valid" category. The product validation results from teachers got 90% and tests on 22 class V users (students) got 88% in the "very valid" category. So it can be concluded that videos based on scientific approaches assisted by Canva are "very valid" and can be used in the learning process.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the alignment between the learning objectives of Natural Sciences (IPA) and the Merdeka curriculum, one of which is to develop student creativity. Therefore, it is necessary to prepare an assessment instrument that can measure student creativity, including creative thinking skills. This research aims to determine whether the assessment instrument to measure creative thinking skills is feasible to use or not. In this research, the approach employed is Research and Development (R&D). The development research method follows the Borg and Gall model. The data collection method uses a questionnaire that is given to validators. The validation sheet is the instrument used. Content validity is the method used for data analysis. The test instrument's validity was high, with Aiken's V score of 0.82, surpassing the 0.800 threshold for high validity. This makes the instrument reliable for assessing students' creative thinking skills. It is suitable for use in elementary schools to evaluate higher-order thinking and creativity. The implications are that the instrument can be applied in elementary schools to assess student learning outcomes at the level of higher-order thinking skills, particularly related to creativity. Guildford's indicators—Fluency, Flexibility, Originality, Elaboration, and Redefinition—offer a comprehensive creativity assessment. Fluency (3 questions) measures idea quantity. Flexibility (2 questions) assesses adaptability to different perspectives. Originality (5 questions) evaluates the uniqueness of ideas. Elaboration (3 questions) examines idea detail. Redefinition (2 questions) measures perspective shifts. All questions are valid, ensuring accurate and thorough creativity evaluation.

Abstract

Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (R&D). Penelitian ini melalui beberapa tahapan menurut langkah pengembangan menurut Borg dan Gall. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III SDN 1 Banaran sejumlah 10 siswa.Instrumen penelitiannya yaitu lembar validasi dan lembar angket respon siswa.Jenis data yang didapatkan berupa data kualitatif dan data kuantitatif. Media pop up book yang dikembangkan dinyatakan layak dengan perolehan rata-rata skor 4,44 dari ahli materi dan rata-rata skor 4,80 dari ahli media, dan rata-rata skor 4,72 dari ahli pengguna, dimana keseluruhan hasil perolehan rata-rata skor masuk dalam kategori Sangat Baik. Sedangkan respon siswa terhadap media pop up book pada uji coba terbatas mendapatkan rata-rata 95% dengan kategori Sangat Baik. Abstract

Most science teachers, especially in private junior high schools in Tulungagung, have not implemented AKM-based assessments due to their limitations on the concept of AKM, resulting in difficulties in preparing AKM-based science questions. This community service activity is a real response to these needs with the aim that teachers can understand the concept of AKM and design questions that are by competency standards, especially in science learning. The stages of this Community Service Programme (PkM) include preparation, implementation, evaluation, and reporting. Preparation was carried out with an initial survey to identify the problems and needs of partners, the formation of the PkM team, and coordination between the PkM team and partners for programme planning. Implementation involved 11 junior high school science teachers from 8 private schools in Tulungagung, with activities consisting of explanation of concepts and practice of making questions. Evaluation was carried out by comparing the condition of partners before and after the activity, followed by an accountability report and scientific publication. Although the mentoring activities in the preparation of AKM questions have not achieved 100% success, some results can be noted. As many as 45% of participants were able to develop literacy-based junior high school science AKM questions. However, 55% of other participants still experienced difficulties in preparing AKM questions, both literacy and numeracy, due to the limited time for mentoring. In terms of enthusiasm, the mentoring activities can be said to be successful because 100% of the participants showed high enthusiasm and actively participated in the activities. They also actively sent their work results in the form of the preparation of AKM-based junior high school science questions, showing their readiness to apply these concepts in classroom learning.
